After completing her MA and B-ED from VishwaBharati in Shanti Niketan, Aditi Paul Majumdar started teaching at Holy Christ School at Kolkata. Earlier, she never had plans of making a career in music but after Indian Idol, her career plans changed. She has done 50+ stage shows all over India. Aditi has always been financially independent and she has received loads of respect from family members, friends and fans. She is currently staying in Mumbai and focusing on her career. Inspite of her husband being in Kolkata has always supported. The mega talent hunt has been a major turning point in her life. Probably she would have still been teaching in Kolkata if she had not auditioned for Indian Idol.
