My analysis for today, posted in EE thread too:
Cvs, before I start my analysis for today's episode, I would like to write down some pointers for the new team, which they may print in bold letters and stick on their office wall so that they never forget. LOL. I am sure Nissar and group might have told them everything about the serial so far, but its no harm in reminding them, right? ;-)
New team, following are some pointers which can help you in never messing up with this serial:
1) Never mess with MSK's character (study his character, live his character...messing with his character is sure recipe for disaster of this serial)
2) Never mess with Geet's character
3) Never mess with MaaNeet relationship (oh god, dont even dare to walk on this path.....remember: the base of their relationship is blind trust and truth)
4) Story is important, no illogical tracks please
Now, next pointers are about Geet audience ka mindset (I speak on behalf of majority...mostly IF and FB members):
1) we Geet audience are not Ekta mayi audience for most part. We look for logic and flow in the story. Character consistency is a must. We live MSK and Geet's character day in and out. Heck, we even dream about them. We think about them 24/7 (yes we are self-confessed addicts) If at any point an episode does not make sense or MSK-Geet are shown out of character, we make sure you receive virtual belans from us. We are very sensitive about this serial and MaanEet.
2) We never forget what has been shown so far (test us if you dont believe me). For example, Cvs might forget that MaaNeet went to Manali, not Shimla, but we never forgot that. Our memory might suck in academics, but when it comes to Geet serial, MaanEet scenes, we have A+++++ memory. LOL.
3) We have hawk's eyes. Smallest of bloopers are caught by us. So new editing team, be careful. Waise bhi, the old editing team was never in our good books, so you guys have to be extra careful.
4) We are not professionals regarding serial making, but we criticize and praise about all the departments of this serial. For us, Geet serial is not only about MaanEet, GC, or DD. We also closely watch the lightening, camera, dialogues, execution, story, editing departments. I know, we are over-involved in this serial. LOL.
5) we Geet audience like drama, but in limit. If the lead heroine is happy for an episode and cries for 10 episodes, we tend to get bored.
6) We are fun-loving people. Yes we criticize and bash Geet team when needed, but we also love you'll. And along with you guys, we want Geet to remain a master-piece and an unique serial till it last. We will do all it takes to keep you guys on track. You'll have all the freedom to take the story the way you'll want, bas, it has to make sense to us, flow has to be there, logic has to be there, and MaanEet character should not be tampered with. Natural gradual groW*H of their characters is perfect, but not overnight changes. We should and must be able to relate to MaanEet in each and every scene.
7) We do not tend to forget the side characters. So dont take Dadi, NT, Adi, Pinky, Sasha, etc lightly. Yes we are crazy about MaanEet, but for us, Geet is about all its characters, and not only the leads. Just to inform you'll, we sometimes even talk about Nakool and Mali. And if that is not enough, we even talk about characters that are not introduced yet on screen, eg. vicky and sam. And to add further, we even talk about characters that are long forgotten, BRIJ, Handa family. Lastly, for us, even cameos are important, even if they are shown only for an episode. (PLEASE BRING YASH BACK FOR MEERA)
8) We sometimes (actually most of the times...lol) tend to over-analyze, but please dont mind it. Take all our feedbacks positively. Remember one thing, our intentions are not evil. We may sound rude, but thats just because we cannot see Geet serial going downhill. We are usually pre-emptive and warn before-hand. We believe in, "better be safe than sorry." ;-)
9) Lastly, we do understand the situation you guys work in to deliver daily episodes to us.....time pressure, channel pressure, boss pressure, etc.
So with these pointers, i would like to welcome all the newbies in geet team. So far we have enjoyed watching this serial, hopefully you guys will keep our interest intact in the future.
Now coming to the episode, ofcourse, I shall start with the editing team (I just love them, dont I ;-)). I see the editing team has changed, THANK GOD. Hopefully, this editing team will be a bunch of professionals and will not sleep through during their job hours. Editing team, I did find 1 blunder today. The first frame of today's episode showed night time, but the rest of the episode showed day time. Please take care of this next time.
CVS, kya hua aaj, logic went out of the window huh. When did MSK promise Geet that he would take her to Khurana Mansion (KM). As far as I remember, you'll showed MSK proposing Geet for marriage, convincing her that dadi will agree, and promising her to always keep her happy. In all this, when did he mention KM. Did I miss something?Today, during MSK-dadi conversation, all they talked about is marriage postponement. There was no mention about Geet moving in to KM. Then with Geet, instead of telling her what exactly he spoke with dadi (marriage postponement), he tells her that she cant move in to KM at present, they will have to wait. And then during his wood-chi session, he again remembers his promise regarding marriage. Why were you guys jumping from marriage topic to KM moving in topic. If there is a link between both these topics, then why was this link not shown to us. I AM SO CONFUSED AND I DONT LIKE THIS FEELING OF CONFUSION.
I dont care if you'll dont show how Geet got her clothes from Meera's house or how Meera came to know that MSK bharofied Geet's maang. I know you'll have only 20 mins each day and we have to assume that all this happened but it is not important for us to see in those precious 20mins. This is totally fine. But cvs, it is extremely important for us to see the thinking process behind the characters' actions. If Geet was packing her bag excitedly to go to KM, then it was important for us to see MSK promising Geet that he will take her to KM today. We should not be made to assume anything in this case. What would have made perfect sense is if MSK before leaving for hospital had told Geet that to go pack her bags and as soon as he comes back, he will make her a permanent resident of KM (this idea is given by An of Devil's Den in IF). Then Geet packing her bags would make sense to me. Otherwise, I dont know when MSK promised Geet to take her to KM today itself. He just promised her happiness and proposed marriage to her.
Another thing is, before leaving for hospital, the last scene between MaaNeet was that they were waiting for Dadi's approval for their relationship. They did not get her answer as the phone rang. So when Dadi told MSK outside the hospital that she has no problems with MaanEet marriage, its just that they will have to wait for sometime, till NT is fine, why did MSK not repeat the same thing to Geet. Why did he not make it clear to Geet that Dadi has agreed for marriage but just wants them to wait till NT is fine. This way, Geet would have felt better that they have dadi's blessings. I felt, all she was worried about (till Tuesday's episode) is whether Dadi will approve or not, and not about when she can move in to KM. MSk told Geet that they will have to wait a bit more before moving into KM, when in reality, he should have told her that Dadi has approved for marriage, bas they have to wait for some time to get officially married. The talks between them till Tuesday's episode had always been about marriage, never about moving in KM, so why was marriage topic ignored between MaanEet today and all concentration was given to KM topic. I DO NOT UNDERSTAND THIS.
Another problem I have been having is with the way you guys are showing MSK's character recently. REMEMBER 1 THING, MSK IS NOT A LOOSER, HE NEVER WAS AND HE NEVER WILL BE. New cvs, it is important for you guys to know that an intelligent and smart MSK is a turn on for all the girls out here (few of my favorite MSK scenes are the ones with NT). Never show him helpless and dumb. Let me explain what I mean out here.
1) When Dadi said that marriage cannot happen right now, why did MSK not mention to dadi that he understands they cannot have an elaborate marriage ceremony due to her concerns for NT. He does not care for NT but he cares for dadi and Geet. So he should have told dadi that though he cannot marry Geet in front of all right now, he would still like to legalize his marriage with Geet so that he can be with her 24/7 for her safety sake and for their happiness sake. I know this is not what MaanEet had planned, but hello, something is better than nothing. They could have had an elaborate marriage later on, after sending NT/Dev to jail. But at least for now, knowing Geet's past, knowing NT's wicked mind, and knowing how much MaaNEet love each other, I am surprised MSK did not offer to legalize his marriage ASAP.
2) Why has MSK not thought about NT after Nov 19 episode. Its been 1.5 weeks since then. The last interaction or thought he had about NT was when he gave her a dhamakedar dhamki in the office. Since then, he has had no thoughts about her. THIS IS SO UNLIKE MSK. As far as I know, MSK believes in the following: "Keep your friends close, and your enemies closer." Why is he not working on or thinking about ways to send NT/Dev to jail and how they came out of jail in the first place. I am not saying that he should act on NT right away or send her to jail right away. I am not talking about actions here, I am talking about his thinking. And I am not talking only regarding today's episode, I am talking about 1.5 weeks. Since 1.5 weeks we have not even seen 1 scene where he is thinking about NT, and that is disturbing. Before NT attacked Geet, you'll should have shown MSK working on finding out facts as to how NT/Dev got out of jail. And After NT attacked Geet, you'll should have shown him thinking on how to keep NT away from Geet and the danger she posses to Geet's life. I know he told NT that his name is now attached to Geet's name, but he also knows that NT never gives up. In reel life, a whole night has passed and it was late morning before MSK came to know that NT drank poison. Knowing MSK, as soon as he put Geet to sleep in Monday's episode, his thoughts should have straight away drifted to NT, his anger on NT and him making calls to find out where NT is. And if at night he was too tired, then I was expecting him to do that first thing in the morning. NOTE out here, I am not saying he should take strong actions already. No, take your time, dont rush with this track. All I am saying is that he should be thinking in this direction. His thinking should be shown to us. After what NT did to Geet last week, how can he take this so lightly. He got news about NT drinking poison after almost 12 hours (reel life) after NT attacked Geet. So in 12 hours, he did not think even once about NT.....so not like him. I know action from him will come once NT moves in to KM along with Dev. But I was at least expecting MSK to think on NT/Dev issue (before Geet was attacked) and NT issue (after Geet was attacked). MSK is great in multi-tasking, he is a shrewd businessman. He is damn intelligent. So to show MSK not thinking about his enemy for 1.5 weeks is disturbing to me, and so unlike him. When his relationship with Geet was not going well, he still was on top of things when it came to NT. Now that Geet is with him, there should be no reason why he is not shown thinking about her.
Today, I loved Geet's character. She was dreaming about MSK, how sweet. Her trust and faith in MSK is unshakable now. I love this. Now even if God tells her anything against MSK, she will never believe Him. This is what we wanted to see in Geet, trust MSK's intentions blindly. She has already started to behave like MSK's wife, which was clearly seen from the way she reacted to bad news. She is a woman deeply in love, and so she trying to keep herself strong for her man's sake was perfectly potrayed today. She sensing his presence, hugging him.......lovely. I am loving the natural comfort level and groW*H in their relationship.
I even loved the way MSK could not forgive himself for keeping up with his promise. As much as I complained about MSK's characer earlier, I loved the way you'll potrayed MaanEet relationship today. They both were thinking from other person's POV. Geet put herself in MSK's shoes and MSK put himself in her shoes. This is a positive and strong sign of an extremely healthy relationship. Cvs, please never mess with MaanEet's divine and pure relationship by ever separating them or showing misunderstandings. Let them face all problems TOGETHER. They are each other's strength and they only have each other to call their own. Let it always be, MaaNeet vs rest of the world.
Precap looks promising. Hopefully we will see MSK bringing a smile on Geet's face tomorrow and both of them sharing a blissful, happy moment together. These 2 have suffered enough, now for heaven sake, show us few episodes where MaanEet are smiling and are happy just with the fact that they are finally together. Let them share some nice, light moments together. Let them forget the outside world for sometime and get lost in their own sweet little blissful world. I hope to see this tomorrow. Both of them spending the night together, tension free, with atmosphere filled with happiness, peace, and of course MaanEet love. :-)
