So now that Naku's all set to show Kala her place, I'm excited. Oh, I know that Naku is all talk and minimum/no action. But the promo gives me hope. The most interesting thing about the promo is the fact that Naku was able to provoke Kala. Kala is usually unruffled by her surroundings. Even when the others are going nuts, Kala remains cool and poised. This trait of Kala makes her a very dangerous enemy. Now that Naku's jabs are getting to her, it means Kala's weakening. The only time I've seen Kala break down is when Dutta went to rescue Naku inspite of her stopping him. It was Naku then, it is Naku
now. Power has gone to Kala's head. She's done so much evil, and the fact that no one has been able to stop her has inflated her oversized ego! She will now meet her nemesis in the form of frail Naku. She has underestimated Naku, honestly! And this is what is going to break her. Evil might prevail but in the long run, it is always goodness that wins. The fact that Naku is doing this selflessly, and not to win Dutta's love makes her all the more invincible.
hmmm...another thing I wanted to discuss is Dutta's reformation. Okay, Naku's done it before and now she's started it again from square one. I wonder how Dutta's gonna come back this time. I want it to be gradual, yes. I want him to realize it on his own. He's been moping all these days. I somehow loved the scene y'day when he threw the locket at Bappa. He was in his senses. And he did it to prove that neither Naku nor Bappa mean anything to him. He was okay with AS giving him the prasad, Kala's words didn't affect him much either. But when Naku started her bhaashan, it irritated him. She still gets under his skin, makes him angry. He's behaving like a rootha hua pati! Showing her that her words mean nothing to him, oh so unsuccessfully! This is good! He'll defy her at every point, try to prove her wrong, fight her all the way...but he still cannot stop himself from thinking about her, or loving her. He says she's driven him to drink, and he drinks to forget her...but when he drinks she is all he can see. When he closes his eyes, he remembers every moment he's ever spent with her. Even the ones he'd never really been aware of! This is seriously good!
As long as he fights her, there's hope. As long as it's not indifference. He might try his best, but she's proved it before that she's as stubborn as him. Remember the jungle wala scene where she did marham patti for him! Sigh!
Now she is going to win him back, but how is he going to redeem himself? I first thought that he's not gonna be able to resist her when he sees that she's the same old girl, but that hasn't happened yet. So, maybe she saves him, again! That will make him stop and think. It really annoys me, that he hasn't stopped to think why Naku wanted to marry him or win his love?! He think that she did all this so that wo use haasil kar paaye, na? So has he asked himself why? Does he think it's for the money or the position? I think it's his male ego that has taken a beating; the fact that she didn't love/trust him enough to reveal her secret to him first. She has made him look like a fool in front of his family and the world. This is where it hurts. Now that Baaji has kind of given him a hint, Dutta might try to find out the truth. Not from Naku maybe, but he will, for his peace of mind. That is the only logical solution I see. Unless he finds out the truth, he cannot accept her. The truth will rock his world, but I think this time it's gonna unbreak him. He might learn that his pain and suffering is nothing compared to what Naku's had to go through. For him, it was always from within, he chose to shut himself in darkness. Naku on the other hand had to face adversities at every step, and yet chose to smile, and live on. Dutta is going to go down on his knees, and regret every hateful deed of his once he learns the truth. He is going to promise himself that he'll vindicate her, set right every wrong. And this time, he'll not just do it by giving her the respect she deserves. He is going to shower her with all the love that he's locked up in his heart. He is going to take the biggest chance of his lifetime. He is going to open his heart and soul and risk getting hurt for Naku. Now that would be redemption!❤️
