Well the first part of my answer was based on only the 2 choices offered by you. I would choose neither.

Too much love is claustrophobic for me and too much hatred is self-destructive. Not a very happy choice to make.

It is a given that anyone would prefer love to hate, I certainly cannot think of anyone who would knowingly choose hate over love but here we are talking about extremes and that is a totally different matter.

Someone ( I forget who) said that hate is akin to love so again that defeats the purpose of choice!!!!!!

But good to see so many romantics on this Forum😳😳. There is hope yet for all of us😉😉😉
