^^^^ Yeah, thinking about it again, Jyoti narrating to them how she broke w/ Brij, married Pankaj, got divorced.... didn't sound kid appropriate at all. And Roshni was unbelievable - had I heard that my father refused to believe that I was his, and suspected I was illegitimate when I wasn't, I'd be insisting that his photo be taken down, and he not be honored. Even if I'm a kid of 9.

Also, as you say, had they not dragged on the start of the week, there would have been no need of a Saturday episode. In fact, given that so many of the people were missing - I'm not even talking Suday, but people like Brij, Poonam, Amit, et al, it was not even worth recapping all that. And this serial was just not worth a Saturday episode - that would have warranted it had there been a lot of actors in the serial all converge, but while there were, a lot of them are no longer available. And does one assume that Dadi & Padma died within those 8 years?

Another thing - it's awfully conceited, rather than modest, of Jyoti to claim that her dreams & aspirations, and particularly her values of trying to be everything to all people - daughter, sister, wife & mother - is every girl's dream!

like all,i don't like the last episode of jyoti......i was hoping for something good,but.....
i actually missed the half of the episode but after watching the remaining one,i thanked myself for missing it.....everyone recalling their transformations, was irritating!....n what to say abt the last bhashan of jyoti......huh!
well it ends on a happy note n thats the only good thing.......

Actually I wanted to see more of Jeet or even Pankaj (Sisodiya) and even some focus on the baby Asha was holding (maybe Asher finally had one) but those irritating flashbacks took away the entire focus.

I think with RKI being shifted suddenly to the 11 pm slot Imagine TV people came up with a sudden idea of having special episodes every Saturday 10 to 11 pm and they decided to begin with Jyoti and a forced b'day episode was shot and prolonged with flashbacks squeezed into it.
Otherwise Harmukhi dying and RP accepting Pankaj (Sisodiya) and Roshni's survival could've marked the end of the epi.....

DISAPPOINTED is how i can sum up my feelings for the last episode.

gr8 update nikkie!👍🏼 if there was 1 i wud have voted for 1 but ok i go for 3. the serial cud have been better...but what do we expect from the creatives after showing such a lovely KZK track😡 & btw i regret watching the epi. the creatives wasted one hour by showing all those nonsense. it's good that sudha & uday stayed away from such an illogical ending... i prefer watching sriti in RS, good that she left jyoti for RS..

Sriti & Alok left after Sushma's godh bharai, which was the turning point. It was a few weeks after that that Sriti started engaging w/ the RS people, and ultimately left Jyoti for RS. Good move on her part - she had such a great potential in Jyoti, but her romance w/ Uday was never highlighted. Who needs such a one-person show, where the only thing that matters is Jyoti, Jyoti, Jyoti?

In fact, it was disappointing that except for a brief visit to Poonam's friends - forced by the ever nosy Jyoti - Deepu & Poonam never really had any romantic moments. Nor did they have any kids @ the end - Jyoti is the only one w/ a womb, that too exclusively Pankaj's 😡 All the other kids - Sushma's & Reshmi's - were just there to lend drama, rather than something positive, while Asha & Bhavri could never have kids.
