The episode starts with KK screaming NAHINNNN..!
She tells everyone why she thinks the merger is a bad idea - she
feels right now the way things are going on, its a peaceful
atmosphere..if the business' are merged, it could get chaotic. Aaj
hum nazdeek hain, merger hua toh nazdeek rehkar bhi duur ho jaayenge.
KK does not support the merger..and everyone is just looking at her.
Salil is disappointed, says its ok, and walks away. Only to be
confronted by Sushma & Sanket. All 3 in their room, Sanket & Sushma
questioning Salil over his decision reg the merger..and why did't he
find it necessary to ask them of their opinion. Salil apologizes and
tells them he arrived at such a decision keeping in mind their
future. The Patel's are new in India, don't know much about business
handling in India & the Wadhwa's have a standing in the business
world..hence, he figured it would be best thing to do under the
circumstances.
BREAK
Nalli giving a speech on women empowerment hosted by Fair & Lovely,
in some mall. Sees Salil there looking at her. Salil is surprised to
see a changed Nalli..she tells him her attitude kinda changed after
what he spoke about marriage the other day. Nalli asks him who would
be his ideal woman. Salil says, not the Miss World types..but someone
whom I could share things with..etc..etc..for eg, someone like Kumkum
bhabhi. Nalli is sad. At home, she's thinking about what Salil
said..suddenly comes across a fair & lovely advertisement on
television..thinks about the subsequent effect, and decides to go
purchase one for herself! Back home, KK catches her applying f&l..and
is surprised to see a tom-boyish Nalli, behaving so lady-like! KK is
teasing Nalli..wants to know the reason..but Nalli is not saying
anything. KK goes away..later Nalli realises 'KK bhabhi ko toh bata
hi sakti hoon na..' Dadi, Veena, Sukanya bua & KK all on the terrace
preparing kairi ka achaar (yummy!). KK merrily eating raw mangoes
(very much like a pregnant women!)..and Suku bua worrying about
Nalli's marrige. Nalli comes up there and tells KK she needs to talk
to her. KK & Nalli in her room..Nalli trying to tell KK..finally she
tells KK she is in love. KK surprised/shocked..asks her that was the
reason why she was applying F&L! Nalli sad that the guy she is in
love with may not reciprocate the feeling, coz she does not fit into
his 'ideal woman' picture. KK assures Nalli..tells her she does fit
in the ideal woman mould, coz her thinking has changed. Promises to
help and support her.
BREAK.
Nalli enters a coffee shop wearing a salwar kameez. Sees Salil in the
midst of a meeting. Salil sees her and smiles. Nalli finds a table
and is waiting for Salil to sit with her and have coffee, so she can
do her pyar ka izhaar. Salil comes to her and asks her what she is
doing there..she makes a bahana that she is waiting for a friend. He
tells her she is looking very pretty in a salwar-kameez. He excuses
himself from there to continue with his meeting, promises to get back
and have coffee with her. Nalli calls KK..wants to know how should
she go about telling Salil she loves him. KK is giving her tutions
over the phone. Sanket too is in the same coffee shop, hears Nalli's
conversation..turns around and sees its Salil she was talking about!
