Part 13

Geet was outside fuming over how Sasha was hugging Maan and how close she was to him...she was even madder at the fact that Maan himself didn't stop her from hugging him

Geet: who does this Sasha think she is...she just can't go around hugging people

Geet picked up a pebble by her foot and threw it across the grass...Adi was walking towards her and saw everything she was doing...he couldn't help but laugh to himself

Adi: Geet you're jealous over one hug....god knows what's going to happen with the rest of Sasha's plan

As Adi stood behind Geet he cleared his throat to get her attention....Geet turned around hoping she would see Maan....she was disappointed when she didn't see him

Geet: Adi tum?

Adi: Haan Geet...woh Maan ne kaha mujhe tum andar bulan kilye..chale?

Geet: usne baas kaha? mujhe khud lene nahin aaye

Adi saw that Geet was hurt that Maan didn't come outside himself to get her....he wanted to help Geet but knew that he had to go along with the plan...

Adi: no he's busy catching up with Sasha (he said motioning Geet to go inside) shall we go inside? Its freezing here

Geet was mad that Maan didn't come get her and was not liking Sasha one but at all....as they walked in Sasha saw Geet looking around for Maan

Sasha: Mk there she is ready?

Maan: ready

Geet spotted them by the bar talking as she started to approach them....Sasha placed her hand on Maan's arm and started laughing....Geet eyes were about to pop out of her head....she didn't like seeing Sasha touch Maan

Sasha: MK I missed you so much

She said as she gave Maan a hug

Maan could see Geet fuming in the corner of his eye and smiled innocently

Maan: I missed you too Sasha

He said trying to hold back his laughter seeing Geet's reaction...Geet stopped dead in her track seeing them hug....she grabbed Adi's hand and unintentionally dug her long nails into his skin

Adi: GEET OW

He said wailing out in pain

Geet: ADI!! LOK AT THEM!!...I thought they are just friends

Adi: Geet let go of my arm you are killing me

Geet looked over and saw Adi almost falling to the floor in pain...she quickly yanked her hand away and felt embarrasses

Geet: Sorry Adi...mein woh.....

She said trailing off still looking at Sasha and Maan talking....she couldn't take it anymore and turned and faced Adi

Geet: Adi mera yahan dum ghut raha hai....I need some fresh air

She said trying to hold back her tears and ran back outside

Adi: Geeeettt....

He said trying to call her back but it was too late she was already outside......Maan saw this and felt guilty

Maan: Adi what happened is she ok? Why was she crying? Sasha I think we took it a little too far

Sasha: MK don't worry....this is exactly what we need...if she doesn't feel like she is losing you she is never going to admit her love for you....I know you feel awful right now...but trust me it's for the best....besides I would never let this go out of hand...I too am a woman...don't worry it will all pay off...ok

She said smiling at Maan

Adi: she's right Maan...give her a few minutes and then go to her outside...

Maan just nodded at the both of them while he looked at Geet outside wiping her tears away.

As Maan walked outside he could that Geet was shivering in her Sari...he slowly took off his coat and gently placed it around her while rubbing her arms to give her warm.....Geet could feel herself melting with his touch...his kindness towards her was made her fall in love with him...he always put her before him....and it wasn't different on a cold night like today

Geet: Maan its ok you must be cold too

Maan: Geet nothing is more important to me than your well being

He said as they stood outside under the starry sky with the moon's light gently kissing their faces

Geet: par Maan

She tried to say before he cut her off and placed his finger over her lips

Maan: chup bilko chup Geet...I'm fine...anyways Adi and Sasha were wondering where you went how about come inside now

Hearing Sasha's name Geet expression changed dramatically....jealousy was now written all over her face.....he moved Maan's hands off of her arms and took off his jacket and threw it back at him and walked to the door....leaving a stunned Maan standing there loving her jealousy...Geet turned around and looked at Maan

Geet: chale (she said with a fake smile) we wouldn't want to keep SASHA waiting

She said hit her foot hard on the ground and walking back into the party....Maan couldn't help but shake his head and laugh at her cuteness as he headed to the door

The party was in full swing everyone was enjoying the dinner and congratulating Maan on the Chopra project....Geet was loving the recognition her husband was getting......she was so proud of him....she was enjoying the party....but her mood would get turned off every so often whenever Sasha tried talking to her or worse saw Sasha talking to Maan....After dinner everyone was going to the dance floor...Maan and Geet sat at the table and where talking to one another when Geet heard a song she loved

Geet: I love this song

She exclaimed

Maan: what song is it?

Geet: Anjaana Anjaani from the movie Anjaana Anjaani stupid movie by the way

She said as she started to hum the song

Maan: do you want to go dance

He said placing his hand out her...she looked at him shocked and shook her head

Geet: No no I'm fine

She said

Maan: fine but the next song we are dancing to....

Geet: fine

She said hoping the dj's system would fail on him the minute the song ended....she didn't want to think too much about the next song as she was enjoying the one that was playing right now.....she started to sway her foot to the song and mouth the words to herself....Maan just sat in his chair watching her...as the song ended Maan got up and placed his hand in front of Geet

Maan: Shall we

He said....Geet slowly placed her hand into his hand and took a deep breath and got up

Geet: like I have a choice

She said as Maan walked her to the dance floor.....Geet was hoping it would be an upbeat tempo song that played....but luck was against her was a slow song started to play

As the song started to play Maan placed his arms around Geet's waist as she put her arms around his head and placed her head gently on his chest.....the song was perfect for them...it was as if it was written just for them...the words where screaming out to them hoping the other would understand how the other felt

Geet lifted her head up and looked deep into Maan's eyes....she wanted to say this to him...she wanted him to know that she loved him but didn't know how to say it....Maan looked at Geet and smiled as he noded his head hoping she would say something...Geet just smiled and looked down and shock her head tenderly and placed it back on his chest.....

Adi and Sasha where at the table staring at them in awe....

Adi: (turning to Sasha) lets go make Geet jealous

He said as she gave him the thumbs up and they walked towards them on the dance floor.....Sasha tapped Geet on the shoulder and gave her a warm smile

Sasha: May I?

She said as Geet backed up a bit.....Geet stood there watching Sasha dance with Maan....Adi saw Geet hurt and asked Geet to dance with him...Geet held back her tears and gave Adi a smile as she started to dance with him not able to take her eyes off of Maan

Maan: Sasha I was enjoying my dance with Geet couldn't you have come later

Sasha: MK trust me on this...now pretend like your enjoying your self

She said giving him a funny expression that made him laugh...Geet saw them laughing and hated it

Geet: Adi I don't like this Sasha when is she leaving

Adi: (laughing) not for a few weeks Geet...

Maan and Geet where dancing beside one another staring into each other's eyes....this time Maan was hoping Geet would understand his feeling towards her.....

Maan stepped away from Sasha and took Geet back into his arms pulling her tightly against his body as he placed his hands around her waist again....Geet put her arms behind his head and they were lost in each other's eyes.....

Adi: I know and that's why you are here to help

They both laughed as they looked back at Maan and Geet still lost in each other's arms on the dance floor...

As the evening was coming to an end everyone was coming to say their good byes to Mr. Chopra and thanking him for the party....

Sasha: Oh MK I wanted to ask you something

Maan: bolo

He said as he was getting his car keys out of his pocket

Sasha: I was thinking that since I will be in town for a while...how about I help you design the building for Mr.Chopra....that was I won't be bored in the city alone....and it will give us a chance to catch up

Maan looked at Geet who was burning in anger and looking down at her phone

Maan: that's a great idea....come to the office

Sasha: sounds good...bye Geet

Geet: Bye

She said coldly giving her a fake smile....Sasha couldn't help but smile

Sasha: bye Maan see you tomorrow

She said as Maan smiled...as Sasha was about to go in for a hug with Maan Geet quickly grabbed his arm and pulled him towards her

Geet: hum ghar chale

She said as she walked out the door and walked to the vale...leaving a stunned Maan walking behind Geet smiling at her innocents

Maan and Geet's Room

It was late at night and Geet hadn't said anything to Maan since they left the party....Maan could tell she was upset between the closeness with him and Sasha....he knew sooner or later Geet would tell him she loved him.... Maan laid down on the bed remembering the intimate dance him and Geet shared tonight he could help but smile....as he saw the washroom door open and pretended to close his eyes....

Geet stepped out and saw that he was sleeping...she was still fuming over with the closeness that he shared with Sasha...she quickly walked to her side of the bed and jumped into bed not caring if she woke him up or not....Maan was lying there trying to hold back his laughter

She couldn't get to sleep...she got up and tapped Maan on the shoulder

Geet: Maan....Maan

She said but he didn't wake up...she decided to try one last time

Geet: MAAN

She yelled a little louder this time making him wake up

Maan: kya hua? sab theek hai?

He said quickly getting up to face her

Geet: haan...I wanted to talk to you...actually tell you something

Maan: ok

Geet: I'm tired of being how I'm joining the office again starting tomorrow...baas that's all...Goodnight

She said as laid down and turn to her side not facing him....Maan laid back down smiling to himself

Maan: (thinking to himself) this plan is working better than I thought

H e said as he turned his head to look at Geet and turned back around and closed his eyes

Geet was still up and thinking of everything that had happened tonight with Sasha...

Geet: (thinking to herself and smiling) Now I'll see how close you try to get to MY MAAN...woh sirf mera hai

She said smiling and dozing off to sleep....

Haha geets jealousy is too cute and Aww I love the 2nd song (tu jaane na) and it was perfect to potray both of their emotions especially maans but yeh really loved how geet was fuming in the jealousy and how she told maan she's going to join the office and how she took him away when sasha was going to hug him and poor adi but yeh great update and loving the track do continue soon 😊
