I would have loved it if D's love interest were someone bold, worldly wise and talkative, someone who's intellectually superior to him. Naku by far doesn't fit in any of these categories. And yet she complements Dutta perfectly. Naku is weak, gets influenced by people, and forgives them as easily too. But she is what he needs. Dutta needs an anchor in his life. His faith in life constantly wavers. And he has esteem issues. With someone like Naku around, he will learn to believe. To forgive. To smile in the face of a storm. To have faith in people and give them second chances. To risk loving and getting hurt. He will learn that getting burnt doesn't necessarily mean the end of life. He will learn to come out stronger from every bitter experience. He will learn to love himself. And most of all, she will teach him to laugh. At himself and at life, uninhibitedly.
Naku will learn too. She will learn to trust her intuition when it comes to love. Her love will teach her to stand up for herself. And yes, never to let any lie come in between their relationship.
Naku has this stubborn streak about her. That is what has often saved Dutta. Her determination to fight his hatred with love just awes me. He is lucky. It's not everyone who finds such a person.
Someone who after seeing your scarred soul.. slowly kisses the wounds away with love and faith.
I keep repeating the same stuff in all my posts na? Am i becoming a bore, guys?
