That being said...she was perfect in Murder and i say if they're making the sequel then she should be in it, but if she's gonna be ungrateful and mean then it's better if they don't bring her into the project!

she has mellowed down a lot! first she had this fire, as she really wanted success bad, now she seems more chilled, i hope things go fine for her!

she likes bollywood much more though! and i think only bollywood can do justice to her! i am niot saying she is sum amazing mainstream actress, but she is good enough!

i only liked her in murder...but she was pretty funny in welcome..she's def better than some, but i think she can do better!!! I hope she starts doing some serious cinema soon!

I agree with Mukesh. Her career is well and truly over. I don't understand why she was even considered a sex symbol. She wasn't even that pretty, she's always been too overconfident about herself, never liked her anyway

she hamped so much in murder......she should take acting lessons first of all..

i have only heard some praise of her in pyaar ke side effects, but i never watch dat movie....and dont want to watch it...

and also...its good to be bold sometimes but its stupid to lack senses especially when u give interviews...mallika overboards herself when doing them....plz lady get some better senses...

Well, Mallika sure was over-the-top but I wouldn't say she was a bad actress. I actually really liked her in Pyaar ke Side Effects (I loved that movie too) and I thought she was fine in Murder. But she was always more in the limelight for her "sexiness" and controversial interviews rather than her acting abilities, mainly because she wanted it that way. And that's where I think she went wrong. If after Murder, she continued to do more films like Pyaar Ke Side Effects, I think she had a good shot of being in the top league of actresses. But alas, she was more interested in instant gratification and I think its her overwhelming desire to ALWAYS be in the center of attention that spelled doom for her career. A little humility wouldn't have hurt either.
