Hey Guys,

Now that the 1st part of Deathly Hallows has been released, we all think it is high time our forum got represented by a new banner!😛

Here are the rules:

The Banner must to be 728 * 90 (Pixels).

You can Submit upto 5 Banners maximum. The banner(s) must be non-animated.

The Banner must contain pictures from ONLY the Deathly Hallows movie. However, for a character like Albus Dumbledore who did not make an appearance in the DH movie, you may use a Half Blood Prince pic. In general, your banner must portray the Deathly Hallows movie, so if it looks like it's a HBP or before banner, we will kindly request you to edit it.

You can also check Mugglenet (biggest HP portal), GOOGLE or other search engines for pics. There are many out there.

The Banner must contain the two words 'Harry Potter'. You can also add any other small text/quote if you want as long as it does not cover the pictures and is appropriate & pertains to the Epic. If you are confused about adding a particular quote, you can PM Aish, Chhilt, or me for your doubt to be cleared.😊

Luna Lovegood

Dobby

The Deathly Hallows sign

Fred, George, and Ginny

Nymphadora Tonks

Bellatrix Lestrange

Kreacher

There are so many other characters out there you may include if you wish.😊

Please Do Not write your name/signature on the banner, because the voting must be done anonymously. Once the winning banner is selected, the winner will be notified and then he/she can add their signature.

Make Sure the Banner does not Contain any offensive or Sexual Content or else the Banner will be disqualified immediately.

Dev Team Members may also submit a banner(s) since we won't be the ones choosing a winner.

Please PM banners to hpcontests, because it will be easier to manage all the entries than if they were sent to us viewbies/mods. Here's the link.

It must resemble DH - so we can't put pictures of Sirius, Hogwarts etc?

^ You can, of course :) As long as you have DH pics of the mandatory characters.

Aish is right. The mandatory characters (except Dumbledore) must be from DH, but if you want to use OotP or HBP pics of the suggested ones, that is fine.😊 Just that if there are available DH pics of the characters, we would prefer you to use those, but nothing wrong in using other pics of characters who were not in the first DH movie.

FINALLY! Was waiting for this impatiently. But LJ, you know, Luna Lovegood is not so important in the first part of Deathly hallows. instead you could have made the sign of the deathly Hallows a compulsory.

^True, we can add the sign in there if you want, but I think Luna appeared a lot (not too much, but more than the characters in the recommended list) in the movie and we wanted a list of atleast ten characters in the mandatory list :)

NOTE - The DH sign was added into the mandatory list.

Thanks for the suggestion, Ashy! Luna did have an imp role in DH, because it was due to her and her father that the trio found out about the Deathly Hallows, so we'll keep her on the banner, but adding the deathly hallows sign is a great idea! Was thinking about adding it but did not want to make the list too long.
