Prem's Grandma is really annoying

🤢 What right does she have to criticize everyone? The show today just was really unbearable with her commentary, blah blah blah. Does every show have to endure a annoying character like this? I am really sick of it. If the grandma dies, everyone will be relieved, including me! 😕

Only if there is darkness can one appreciate light. Characters like dadi will be part of many stories and as you said viewers have to endure them.

Dadi's character brings forth good qualities of Dr. Kalyani( patience and wisdom ) . Kalyani will be to Nandini what dadi never was to Kalyani.

When Prem's dad was looking for the newspaper he finds the pages missing. Kalyani gives an easy solution, buy one more. Dadi says teach you children discipline.

so are you agreeing with the dadi's statement? 😕 discipline doesnt mean that your father has to have first dibs at the newspaper, whoever gets it first should be able to read it...

dadi seems to be an educated woman and she might have good ideas about disciplining kids but they dont really make an impact if you then try to bribe the joshi not to match up the kundali's so i felt all her bashans were for insulting kalyani.....

she is integral to the show but i dont agree with her personally

Daadi's talk is only to insult Kalyani...........Kalyani is from a middle class family and her son fell in love and brought her as a bahu........I guess Daadi has never lived that down.........

Dadi's comments are really contradictory😕if she taunts her bahu for having emerged from a middle- class background, that would have been fyn, but the problem is she even criticizes her for being modern...Urmila is also "modern". It means that she likes it if one is so- called "modern" only in appearance (wearing wierd blouses and behaving fussily) but she does not respect if a person actually understands what being truly modern is....like kalyani, who has evolved intellectually with the times....The way dadi is behaving, can be suitable for a less- educated woman like aayi, who can get swayed easily by opinion. But the kind of education dadi apparently has, she should have better sense of judgement.If she is shown to be a negative character, there should be consistency in her thoughts...

Dadi sathiya gayi hai...Lost all her marbles....She has no class...Does not know how to behave her age and position IMHO.. although she goes around showing off as modern smart old lady...
