Alekh's tribute to 'Bidaai'

The popular serial 'Sapna Babul Ka... Bidaai' is coming to an end, and actor Angad Hasija, who plays the schizophrenic Alekh in it, is experiencing a mixed bag of emotions. "I'm emotionally attached to the serial. I'm sad that we all won't be working together on 'Bidaai' anymore. They were happy moments, probably the happiest ones of my life," he said.
Angad is glad that he got the opportunity to play such a role with myriad shades to it. "The real problem will come now. Deciding what role to take up next is going to be the challenge. But I am not going to play a mad man, I may do something more idealistic, like play a royal prince or then a sweet lover-boy," he informed.
Speaking about his character Alekh, Angad said, "Each character had its fair share of fan following. We all received immense love from the audiences. In fact, my character is so close to me those if and when I have a son, I may call him Alekh."
So how soon will we see Angad on the small screen? "I'm going for a holiday to Europe. I'll recoup only to return to good work, hopefully," was his parting note.
