Hey Guys,

I have been very skeptical about FR, for numerous reasons and the one of the top ones was my jitteriness to map my feelings to Naku's new identity...Frankly, I could never relate to Naku in her fair skin...Her dialogues, expressions and body language never was same as that of Koel Naku's...(Except ofcourse 1 scene where she was sitting on the floor in Anna's den and thinking about Dutta and hoping that he is fine...Her expressions when she missed him were awesome....Her look of longing was very apt...)....And hence, I have been skeptical on how we viewers would relate to the fair Naku....Apart from Naku's makeover, MV's acting also would play a big role in making us give the Koel Naku a propitious adieu and welcome the new face with open arms!

But today, I was satisfied with the AS-Naku's confrontation....Not only was MV bang on in her expressions, tone and body language but her make over was very apt for a simpleton gal in love! Now, I feel confident that our own transition from Black to White would not be a long journey!

If only MV maintains this standard, especially in scenes with Dutta because that character is par excellence!!!

DD, even in yesterday's epi when Nakku prays to god in her fair avtaar, her body language was same as that of the old Nakku.
So far when ever Nakku was shown in her fair avtaar, it was her beauty that was highlighted. So possibly her body language was accordingly and even we could not connect ourself to it.
But in yesterday's and today's epi, for the first time it was not her beauty that was the main aspect, but Nakku herself. Hence we could see our old Nakku in her and connect to this new avtaar.

Nels, Totally agree!!!....In all the scenes with Gori Naku, her dialogues revolved around her beauty and that was a stark difference between Koel Naku and Gori Naku...but I could always understand that why she might wanna always talk about Beauty when she is in her fair avtaar because conceptually, that is the only difference between Fair and Kaali Naku....but even Naku's tone, new-found confidence with a slight aggression was what I was never able to relate to....Her inner values should remain the same, her tone of voice should remain the same....

but today, it was old Naku in new skin....Her tone, expressions, content of convo and even her confidence was that of Koel Naku...Koel Naku's confidence was always marked with humility and love....and that is what was prevalent today....Dutta was in the forefront of her thoughts...She could totally convince me that her world revolved around her love for Dutta!!!....I just loved todays scene!

yes, DD i also agree..today MV was bang on and as Nels said she was true to character yesterday also.. u can see the love, humility and innocence in her.. i think with koel nakku, everything else was dark and the shining factor for me was the eyes.. she portrayed well using her eyes.. whereas now with her beong fair, as a viewer there are many distractions like how her hair looks,her clothes, her make up and what not.. so unless she puts in a stellar performance, it is very easy for a viewer to disengage himself from nakku and look at the other aspects of nakku i.e, outer beauty.. i hope i am making sense here!!

i really felt for nakku today and esp babi as well.. for once she came across so genuine crying to AS and esp when she was talking about how diff Dutta bhao was, the expressions on her face were just spot on!!

Vandu, you have raised a very valid point....Till Fair NAKU on the screen becomes a habitual view for us, we would tend to get distracted by how her physical attributes are potrayed...I was scanning her today to see whether the make-up man justified Naku's potrayal....All these distractions would be part of our endeavour to map to this new face....

BTW, Only time it was a pleasure to watch Baabi's scene with unbated eyes was when Babi was ready to give her piece of mind to Dutta when he "frees" Naku from his shackles!...Oh! I loved Babi then! 😉😆

i agree, her body language has been shown mre in 2days n ydays epi which im glad they hav dne becos mayb this wil help dutta realise tht she is the sme naku he fel in love with

before they used 2 focus on her beauty...in anna and morey's case simply becos they wntd 2 highlight thn tht her beauty drives men crazy thts y they focussed mre on her lukin pretty rather than her body language n way of talkin etc...

bt m glad they hav started 2 shift the focus from her real fair face 2 her personality n body language making it easy for us 2 relate to her as the sme old naku... i hpe they continue with this... i also like her simple look...like in ydays epi..her white simple outfit with simple make up made her look so pretty... i hate it wen they put heavy make up on her..thts wen i fail 2 connect with her.. e.g. anna's place, her bright pink make up, she looked pretty no doubt bt i prefer her with light make up...makes us feel she;s stil the sme simple naku n nt sum1 else... hpe they stick 2 her simple look post the FR

It will take some adjustments but I think I think as long as Naku doesn't change as a character (I know there will be some changes in her to be in line with the story as it moves on) I will eventually be happy with the fair Naku too.

😆........if we have trouble getting used to a fair-skinned Naku with shaped-eyebrows....imagine Dutta's plight with the change in his wife! 🤣

after FR it will b gudbye 2 koel Naku n hello 2 the fair Naku...
this thgt until u jus pointed it out hadnt really crossed my mind...😕...its prob cuz we are all busy tryin 2 picture/predict how the FR shud take place...who shud do it...wat shud b said etc...

personally...@ tyms i feel out of touch wiv even the koel Naku......

4 this mostly CV's are 2 blame...😡...minus a few Tasha scenes...Naku sumtyms seems totally diff 2 the Naku of earlier days...both bk in basti n wen she 1st arrived @ PN...but 4 a while...there was also a drop in MV acting...which is pretty worrying...since we'll soon b c'in Naku in a new avtar...n lyk u said...if there is a slyt lapse in her acting...it cud result in a break of connection between the character n audience...😕...

it will wivout a doubt b a lil strange 2 see Naku no longer wiv the soot...n still feel the same lykness 2wards her character...but if MV keeps the essense of Naku's character intact...im sure the transition will go ahead wivout any probs...

i jus hope...cv's dnt jump in n take apart Naku's character after Duttz is ok n the wedding takes place...a change in dialogues,thinking or even her reaction 2 certain situations...cud ruin Naku's character beyond repair...😕...

I agree Yuvika...Now, the CVs have to specially focus on Naku's dialogues, tone and body language for Dutta to feel comfortable around this new identity!....This would be very important!!!...

and Naku has to stick to subtle makeup to maintain Natural look....She should not be dolled up...That would be such an off thing....Her natural look also helped a lot in relating to this Naku!
