Actually written this OS on another couple but as per request of a friend... posting it on Mayur....

JUST LOVE
He kicked on the kick rod of his bike for the umpteenth time but in vain. He gave up his attempts and started to think what to do now. He had given his car for servicing as he had his bike but it ditched him now. It was the first thing he brought with his first ever earnings and from a few savings. He didn't want to part with it so even after six years it was still there in his garage. Occasionally he took it out when he felt like going on rides. There were so many memories associated with it but right now it's not the time to think about all those. He had to make it to the party on time.
It was their college re-union and he couldn't afford to miss it. His parents walked into the parking to take their car out as they had to attend a wedding.
"Mayank you didn't leave yet. What are you waiting for?" his mother was puzzled to see him still waiting outside as he came out of the house almost half an hour before.
"It isn't starting." Mayank made a frustrated attempt of kicking it again.
"It's ok… We'll drop you" said his father as he took the car's key out and pressed the button to open the door.
Just then Mayank heard a sound of bike starting and someone yelling. A mischievous smile lit his face.
"Aditya come fast we're already late because of your stupid meeting." Shilpa scolded her husband as she settled in the passenger seat.
"Lets' go Mayank before my wife kills me" Aditya said with a scary look on his face.
"It's ok dad. You leave with your wife. I found mine." Mayank said with a goofy smile on his face while Aditya looked at him baffled.
Mayank motioned Aditya to look in the direction he indicated. H e glanced over and what he saw made him wink at Mayank as if signaling him that he understood his naughty intentions. He patted on his back and left from there.

"What the hell Gunjan? How many times did I tell you not to touch me there when I drive? I feel ticklish. Just leave me. Hold on to the rod if you want something to clutch." She shouted as she controlled the handle and took the bike on right path but she lost her grip once again as she felt pair of hands caressing her bare waist under the pallu of her sari. She was sure it wasn't Gunjan. As she felt feathery light kisses along the exposed part of her neck, she knew who it was. It was then she looked into the mirror for confirmation. She yelled at the top of her voice.
"Mr. Sharma… how dare you???"
"Wow that was pretty early. You realized it now?? We've almost crossed half the way dear. Now don't stop we're almost reaching. We'll definitely make it on time."
He said with a smirk on his face and hands still around her waist. How much he wanted to thank her for wearing the red saree which he presented her but he'd do that once they reach.
"Mayankkk just stop it. I can't drive like this." She said upon losing her track for the nth time.
"Ok… chill…" He left her waist and held on to her shoulders. From the mirror he could see the angry look etched on her face.
"Nupur I'm sorry. I have been apologizing since I came back but you… you're so stubborn. I agree I should have told you before leaving but I just couldn't." Mayank made a futile attempt of convincing her once again.
"I'm stubborn??? Just serves me right. I waited for you like hell and in return this is what I get to hear." Nupur said pouting. Mayank felt like pulling his hairs.
"OMG Nupur… you're so difficult to handle. My saali is much better than you… just a small pout and she let me get on your bike…" Mayank let out his frustration.
"Just wait what I do to Gunjan when I get back home. She pleaded me to drop her saying she had a very urgent work and now she switched places with you. I'd never agree to drop her again." Nupur vented out her anger.
"She's such a cutie pie. Big deal… if you don't drop, she has her jijju… I'll drop her… I don't think she'll mind at all." He answered her back.
"Oh really!!! Okay next time she asks me to take her anywhere, I'll ask her to go find her jijju who doesn't have time for his fiance but is ready to drop her sister." Nupur sneered at Mayank.
"Nupurrr….I'm really sorry love…" Mayank hugged her from back carefully and placed a kiss on her cheek.
Nupur stopped the bike at the signal but didn't react yet. A small girl holding roses came up from back and begged Mayank to buy roses. He brought the entire bouquet of flowers giving the kid a 500 note and put it in front of Nupur with a pout on his face.
Nupur smiled as she saw the roses propped in front of her and from the mirror she saw the pout on Mayank's face. She just wanted to turn back and kiss him but the signal glowed green and she made a move before taking the flowers and dumping them carefully in the rack.
Her smile indicated him that she finally forgave him and he made his move. She took a turn into a deserted street which was a shortcut to reach the destination. Normally she wouldn't have but now as she had her Mayank with her, there was no reason to worry. He let his hands travel from her shoulders to her arms and intertwine with hers on the handle as he moved closer placing his chin on her shoulder.
"Mayank what are you doing?" Nupur was stunned to see his response. He was romancing on the road while she was driving.
"Hey I'm just assuring my safety. I just returned in the morning and didn't even get the chance of romancing with my fiance properly. I don't want to die so soon.. Gunjan was right about your driving. It's like walking on the path of thorns. I should not have asked uncle to let you drive." Mayank told Nupur while concentrating on the road.
"Oh really!! You're the one who taught me to drive, so you should be questioning your own skills then…" Nupur knew that Mayank was just playing around. She could read from the look on his face that he wants to feel her close to him after a week of staying away from each other. Even she wanted the same so how could she stop him.
As they were nearing the hall, he left her and moved back a little. She parked the vehicle while he waited. She paid for the parking and was about to walk into the hall when she couldn't find Mayank. That's when she felt someone pulling her in to the dark and needless to say she knew it was him.
He pinned her to the wall and leaned on to her. A strand of hair disturbed his view and he slowly traced a finger on her face curling the strand around his finger and put if back behind her ear.
Finally after a week she could see him in person standing in front of her. She hugged him tight with all her might and Mayank smiled and wrapped his hands around her even tighter. There were basking in the warmth of their love when his mobile rang causing them to break apart. He held her close with one hand and attended the call.
"Hey Benji… I'm in the parking lot. Will be there in a minute." Mayank cut the call and smiled at her.
He kissed her on forehead and both of them walked in to the hall hand in hand amidst the cheers and whistles ringing in the hall upon their arrival.
As they stood in the centre of the hall surprised, rose petals fell on them from the top and it was then they saw their close friends Uday, Benji, Dia, Suhani, Raj and others
"Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!" All of them yelled together as they pulled Mayank and Nupur into hugs. Mayank and Nupur exchanged surprise looks.
"Oh now don't pretend to be so innocent. We know that you're engaged." Uday let out the reason.
Mayank and Nupur looked at each other and then at others and bowed their heads in embarrassment.
"You didn't invite us and neither did anyone of you call and inform, we're not going to spare you too today." Dia pulled Nupur to her side.
"By the way how did you guys know??" Mayank asked them surprised.
"WEEEEE" Samrat and Gunjan propped up from nowhere shocking Mayank and Nupur…
"You twwwwwwwwoooo" shouted Mayank and Nupur together.
"Now stop both of you. See how sweet of your siblings, none of you cared to tell us and it was them who planned all this." Maya shielded Samrat and Gunjan.
"The engagement was a big surprise planned by our parents. Even we didn't know that till we reached our grandparents' place. Sorry guys. Later I went out of country on a business trip so couldn't." Mayank explained.
"Oh!! What about you Nupur?? At least you could have told us" Dia asked Nupur.
"I wanted to but then thought it would be better if both of them disclosed it together… Few people are really busy to inform things happening around them so I need to ask your apology for the delay. " Nupur stiffened a bit as she gave Mayank a sideways glance. This exchange wasn't missed by anyone and all heads turned to Mayank for reason.
"I left all of sudden without informing so I think I deserved that." Mayank answered a bit embarrassed.
"Now that wasn't a fair thing to do Mayank" Suhani reprimand him as she took Nupur's side.
"Yea how could you???" Dia and Suhani joined on Nupur's side.
It took him what he felt was ages to please her and there girls are going to ruin all his efforts. Benji came to his rescue.
"It must have been really urgent. He won the best business man award recently and since then poor fellow had hands full of work. I'm sure he'd have called her once he left. His top priority always has been Nupur since the first day of college."
Benji winked at Mayank.
Mayank and Nupur shared a special bond since the first day of college and their bond strengthened once they became neighbors. They were really excited when they came to know that their fathers were childhood friends. They became a part of each others families too and by the time college ended, they realized they're madly in love with each other. They confessed but still pretended to be friends in front of their family. They had loads of fun spending time with each other and at times had sneaked out of their house in the night and went on long rides on his bike.
Their parents surprised them with the engagement when they went to their grandparents' place. They happily got engaged and before they could celebrate their happiness Mayank left on a business tour even without informing Nupur which made her angry.
He finally came back today and went to meet her. She pretended to ignore him and went to shop while he had to chat with her mother and Gunjan. He came to know about the re-union party and thought of pacifying her there but luck was on his side and he got an opportunity to please her even before.
The party was on full swing but two of them just couldn't enjoy. They just felt like running away from there and as if they understood the silent conversation between their eyes they took permission to leave.
They were walking to the parking lot when they spotted his bike. Samrat and Gunjan came and saw their puzzled faces.
"Sorry it was a part of our plan." Samrat uttered closing his eyes expecting a kick from his brother but in return was surprised when he got a hug from him. He handed the bike keys to Mayank who refused and asked him to take Gunjan and leave.
Nupur took the key of her bike and placed in his hand motioning him to drive. Mayank smiled and they were on road again. Mayank was driving while Nupur sat on the back her head resting on his back and hands wrapped around him. She opened her eyes when she felt they halted.
They were at a beach. They walked hand in hand towards the shore and played with the water for sometime after which they settled on the sand resting beside each other.
"How was your trip?" Nupur asked him.
"It was great. We got the deal." He snuggled closer to her.
After a deep silence he asked her.
"Did you miss me?"
"Loads…" She hugged him placing a kiss on his cheek.
"Oh really that is why I got such a warm response in the morning??" Mayank mocked.
"Well if I hadn't done that probably would have missed the bike ride and this too." Nupur said mischievously and got up before he could grab her back.
He ran after her and finally caught up with her as she fell down exhausted. He pulled her on to him. Mayank lifted Nupur in his arms and dropped her in the water, drenching her completely. She caught his hand and pulled him down too. Mayank landed on the top of Nupur. After few hits and pushes they got up holding on to each other.
He couldn't help but stare at her shamelessly as he looked stunning in the red saree hugging her curves and water dripping down her. She blushed as she noticed his gaze on her only to make him even crazier. He pulled her closer, his hands resting on her bare waist and captured her lips with his. They were lost in their love cage until the chilling feel of waves underneath their feet made them tremble. They walked back on to the sand.
"There's no way we are going home like this all drenched." Nupur told him as he was playing with her hair.
"Okay. We can stay here for a while. Anyways the elders aren't going to be home soon…" Mayanks' hands traced the length of her shoulders pulling her closer.
"And what are we going to do?" Nupur raised her eyebrows in question.
"Walk" He simply stated looking into her eyes.
"I can't walk anymore. I'm tired." She said pouting.
"Don't worry love… I'm here." He stood opposite of her with a glint in his eyes.
"Are you sure?" She asked him giving him the same teasing smile.
He simply nodded his head.
"Ok don't complain later that you're feet are paining." She said as she put her arms around him and got on to his feet.
His hands traced the path from her shoulders to her back pulling her closer and he walked with the smile refused to part from his face as she looked at him lovingly. They walked discussing about their dreams of marriage and other things.
After sometime they sat down with Mayank resting on Nupur's lap playing with her fingers.
"Nupur, I think we had enough fun. Tonight I'm going to ask them to fix our marriage date as soon as possible" Mayank told her in a cute manner.
"You?? Are you sure?? If you remember you had once taken me home to inform that we love each other and what did you do?" Nupur laughed as she recollected what happened that day.

Aditya, Shashi, Shilpa and Padma were sitting together and having tea. They were talking about some wedding they had attended the other day. Mayank entered in all excited followed by Nupur.
"Dad I want to tell you all something?" Mayank said standing in the centre.
"Go ahead Mayank." They gave their consent.
"I… I mean… I just wanted to let you…" Mayank was struggling with the words.
"Speak it out Mayank." Shilpa said.
"Ma.. I.." Mayank looked at Nupur for help who was trying to hold her giggles as she recalled how he rehearsed many times to tell it but now blabbering like a kid.
Aditya got up all excited.
"My son… I know… I know you'd listen to me…" He came and hugged Mayank while Mayank stood surprised.
Breaking the hug Aditya spoke, "You want to tell us that you're going to join business right??"
Before he could react, Aditya hugged him again. "I know."
The families started celebrating, Mayank's launch into business.

"What could I do? Dad didn't even give me the chance to speak. Before I could realize anything properly, I was in the M.D. chair." Mayank sighed.
"Now quickly remember if anymore wishes of uncle are pending… Now later don't cry if he fixes you into something else." Nupur laughed.
"It's ok. I'm not complaining about my work. I love it but not more than you." He kissed her hand.
"I guess I still need to fulfill one wish of his." He stated sitting up.
"and what is it?" Nupur questioned.
"Get you as his daughter-in-law as early as possible" Mayank kissed her cheek.
"Well then I don't think you'd have to struggle this time." Nupur kissed him back.
They got up to leave. Mayank placed the keys in her hand and got into the back seat.
Nupur started to drive as Mayank sat at the back romancing.
They reached home and were surprised to see lights glowing in Nupur's place. They were shocked to see their parents sit in with serious faces. They slowly reached them and stood beside each other.
"Mayank… we've decided something which I think is the best decision for your good future." Aditya said seriously as he stood up.
Shashi walked to Nupur teary eyed and said, "Nupur, my little angel… please forgive me for this… I know how you will feel but I just couldn't help."
Mayank and Nupur sensed there's going to be some trouble and looked at each other worried and then at their parents.
"Papa what happened? Is everything alright?" Nupur questioned her father.
"I wish I could say yes… but no beta nothing is alright. Your mother is already angry with me but what can I do?" Shashi said dejected,
Nupur was worried more and more and felt Mayank tightening the hold on her hand.
"Oh god." said Samrat and Gunjan as they joined others.
"I never thought someone could do more emotional drama than us. You two just surpassed us." Samrat said as he noticed the worried look on his brother and Nupur.
"chill deedi n jeej.. nothing to worry… You two are going to get married in a week. These two are just trying to frighten you." Gunjan disclosed the fact out while Aditya and Shashi looked at her in disappointment.
Mayank and Nupur glared at their parents who were laughing at them and later joined them. They were fed sweets and Nupur left from there. Mayank noticed her absence and left to find her.
He opened the terrace door and found her standing by the railing, staring at the moon. Mayank came and hugged her from back. He kissed her cheek.
"Congratulations soon to be Mrs. Mayank Sharma"
Nupur turned and hugged him happily. The moon showering his blessings on the couple to be happy forever and ever…….
