Will Richa Soni's 'Bhagyavidhaata' wrap up or will it get a new lease of life with a time leap?
Is the serial 'Bhagyavidhaata' going off air? There's buzz that the channel wants the show to wrap up and replace it with another show. However, the production house seems to be in a different mood and all set for a time leap. Lead actress Richa Soni, who spoke to us, said she wasn't aware of any talk about the show wrapping up. "I have been told that there is about to be a leap after which my character will transform into a strong, intense woman." Richa naturally hopes that rumour of the serial ending are untrue. "But if a decision is taken to that effect, then we have to accept it no matter what," she sighs. She is quite prepared, she says, just in case the serial winds up. "I don't feel insecure. I'm sure I'll get something else, may be a reality show or perhaps another serial."
Incidentally, people get confused when they see Richa in real life. She looks very different from her sari-clad docile onscreen character and it takes people quite a while to recognise her. "That's a good thing sometimes because I can retain my privacy," she smiles.
