Actress Dia Mirza who made her debut in Rehna Hain Tere Dil Mein is now turning producer and we catch her in a candid talk.
Why did you decide to turn into a producer?
I always love making films. I always attached to the making of cinema. My film maker friends always encouraged me to go on so I thought of trying my hand at it.
So what kind of films you are looking forward to produce?
Script which will attract me. I have no issues or agenda or criteria about any films. After being in the industry I think I know what the audience wants to see.
Is there any film that you have seen and you want to produce?
There are lots of movies I want to produce which did well. These were films where the audience connects easily. Like 3 Idiots, Chak De India, Wake Up Sid and many more.
So who will you cast?
(smiles) I have not yet decided I am looking into many scripts. I will decide which one to produce and after that I will decide. It also depends on the director who he wants to cast. After all a film is always a director's film and its his imagination and story.
So will you be acting in it?
If my director wants then I will.
