In a bid to add a little humor, I thought I'd send you a TeleBirdie story.
This time, it is not an interview, but an imagined Halloween story with our dear couple front and center...Indian TWILIGHT style!
Dutta: The brooding Edward-like character...mature...resplendent...in his own world...with powers, but with gussa....
Naku: Confused Bella-like, except with soot on her face...full of angst...sweet...a bit immature...hard life...doesn't feel she belongs
IMAGINE TELEBIRDIE sitting before little children telling this scary tale of serial angst this Halloween. š
Story:
Listen my kiddies, one and all, to this (cheesy) story I have to tell.
If you don't listen well, you may very well go to hell. (JUST KIDDING!š It rhymed! and I never said I was a poet!)
Once there was this man-boy, mysterious, and handsome, brooding, and strong
Those eyes, that look, that kurta walk
All of which was longed.
He llved in his dark life of no color...no hope or joy
Till the day when across his path came a girl
Who would change her color, was it true or a ploy?
Her name was Nakusha
Short and sweet
Her heart was pure
But full of angst was she.
For on her face, there was soot
That covered her her skin and soul
Made her scary, and fearful...
Of men one and all....
The two met...there was a psychic pull
They knew each other
It seemed
But there's was a fate that was first to be cruel
Dutta was ostracized and feared,
A dark, angry man was he.
Nakusha understood him,
But how could this be?
She did not care what he was
She was willing to live in his world
But she was hiding a secret
That she was an apsara girl! (YIKES!)
Dutta opened up to Nakusha
Yearned for that breath of fresh air
Wanted to calm his heart, be different
With this girl who was not so fair
He finally brought her into his world
And heart
But that day came
That would give him a start.
For from the dark,
Walked out an apsaraš
Someone he did not know
But it was Nakusha
She said "BOO!"
Dutta was scared
He did not think his Nakusha
Would play such a game!
So he walked away
Back into his world...dark and still
But could not keep his heart
From beating and yearning for her still
Hence he decided
To leave the fear, the darkness behind
Left the Dark Side
Into the light.
Now, my kiddies, how scary is that! Told you...these serials are SCARY!
Little Kid: What kind of story is that??? That was boring!
Other Kids: Yeah! Booo! That wasn't scary!
TeleBirdie: Chup! Go turn on COLORS and tell me it's not SCARY then!
(Just kidding everyone. I love kids...and they seem to like me a lot too! Go figure!)
