Written and Video Update- October 5th
Hello guys! I hope you're all okay! Let's see what happened in today's episode, but before that, I have a very important note that I want members to read:
IMPORTANT NOTE:
Nowadays my university semester has started again, thus I have been very busy with lectures and assignments. Some of you may have noticed that I am hardly on the forum anymore, apart from when I post the written update. That is what this note is about. This year is a very important year of study for me, therefore it will be very difficult for me to come on the forum and update what happened in the episode, so I would be really grateful if someone could PM me if they want to take over my written updater slots on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. I love updating for you guys (and I also hope you guys loved my updates) but after all, study is my first priority, so I must give my full attention to that. Anyone who is interested in taking over, for either one day or both days, do PM me as soon as possible please! ~ Part One ~
The episode begins with preparations going on in the Ganguly house. Neelu greets her brother and sister-in-law, and Neelu's brother teases Neelu about her mother-in-law. Neelu is about to show her brother and sister-in-law their room when Ananya calls her to greet Shekhar's sister and her husband. Taani enters the house and smiles upon seeing everyone happy meeting each other. Taani goes up to Shekhar's sister and bends down to seek her blessings. Shekhar's sister is surprised to see how much Taani has grown. She asks Taani is she remembers her and Taani replies that she does, as in childhood Shekhar's sister had pulled her ears a lot. Taani then goes to greet Neelu's brother and takes his blessings also, calling him the tamarind uncle, 'imli wala mama'. Taani asks for her imli and the uncle takes out a packet of imli for her and laughs. He tells Taani to go to the kitchen and make them hot luchis to eat with rasgullay. Taani goes off with a smile and Ananya looks on resentfully. Nupur suddenly arrives and is about to walk past but Neelu asks her where she is going. Nupur replies that she is going to see Anurag, and Neelu is not pleased. Thaku Maa stops her and says she has been seeing Anurag everyday up until now, and asks why she needs to meet him now. She tells Nupur that it is the tradition of the house that before the ashirwaad ceremony the boy and girl should not see each other's face. She tells Nupur to meet all the guests that have arrived.
Thaku Maa takes Nupur's hand and leads her to sit down with the guests. She makes Nupur sit beside Neelu. Thaku Maa tells Neelu to put the shagun bangles on Nupur, but Nupur gets a phonecall and goes off to answer it. Neelu does not realise that she has left. Just then Taani comes back and takes a seat beside Neelu. Neelu turns and places the bangle on Taani's wrist, unknowingly still thinking it was Nupur beside her. Everyone is surprised and Thaku Maa asks Neelu what she is doing. Neelu is shocked and Ananya is not happy. The scene changes to Nupur in the corner of the room, on her phone. She tells Jackie that he cannot do this, but Jackie tells her that he wants to meet her right this moment. Nupur tells him that she is getting engaged and cannot come, but he argues that it is very important that he meet her, so he is coming. He hangs up the phone before Nupur can say another word. The scene changes back to all the guests shocked at what Neelu has done. Shekhar's sister says it is a very bad omen. Neelu takes the bangle off Taani's wrist and calls Nupur's name. Nupur turns and comes back to them. Neelu explains to her that every ritual has a certain philosophy behind it and getting up and leaving in the middle of a ritual is not the right thing to do. Nupur says it was an important phonecall, which is why she had to go. Taani gets up and leaves, and Nupur sits down beside Neelu. Neelu puts the bangle on Nupur, but Nupur seems lost in her own world.
The scene changes to Anurag being stopped by elderly ladies, who tell him that they know he is desperate to see his to-be wife, but until the ashirwaad ceremony is not over, he cannot see her face. Taani is in front of them, walking down the hallway and sadly hearing their talks. Anurag says it is his ashirwaad ceremony, his to-be wife, so why can he not see her. One of the ladies replies that it is because that is the tradition. Anurag spots Taani and rushes to her. The ladies leave. Anurag pleads Taani to tell the ladies to let him go out there. Taani smiles and says they are saying the right thing, and that something wrong will happen if he sees Nupur's face before the ashirwaad ceremony. Anurag thinks for a moment and says if that is so, then he will not see her face. He says it is very painful though, if two people who are getting married and are about to spend the rest of their lives together are separated. Taani looks sad. Anurag says she and Sushant must be suffering too. He says Sushant must phone her fifteen times a day, right? Taani looks at him with a small sad smile. Anurag asks her how many times Sushant calls her, but Taani hesitates and looks away. Anurag says they have grown up now, are no longer kids, and can talk about these things. Taani tells him that he calls her four or five times and Anurag smiles. He jokes that they have not even got married yet, and Sushant has already called her four to five times. He says Sushant is four steps ahead of him in regards to love.
Anurag thinks again and says he should also phone Nupur, because if she finds out about Sushant's pagalpan, she will turn him into a deewana. Taani gives him a small smile. Anurag asks her what Sushant says when he calls her and Taani replies that he says he misses her. Anurag then asks what she says to him and Taani says she tells him that she misses him too. She then looks away. Anurag pleads Taani to give Nupur his message, that he is missing her a lot. He starts day-dreaming. Taani quietly murmurs that she also misses him a lot. Anurag turns to her and asks what she said, but Taani says that Nupur would say the same thing, right? Anurag smiles and tells her to definitely give the message. Taani walks away upset, with tears in her eyes. Taani arrives by Nupur, and Anurag indicates for her to give the message to Nupur. She goes up to Nupur and tells her she needs to talk to her about something. Anurag smiles upon seeing this and goes away pleased. Nupur irritatingly asks Taani what she wants to talk about now. Taani replies simply that she wanted to give her Anurag's message. Taani tells Nupur about Anurag missing her a lot, because he cannot meet her due to the ashirwaad ceremony. Nupur says she is also missing him a lot, and that she loves him a lot, which is why she is tolerating the behaviour of all these people, especially Thaku Maa. Nupur leaves. Taani turns to see Ritesh standing before her. She doesn't understand what he actually wants, and thinks that she will have to be careful around him.
~ Part Two ~
At the Banerjee house, Laboni calls for Taposh to buy fish on his way back home. Molly and her mother arrive and Laboni is surprised to see them. Laboni asks what the tiffin is for, which Molly is holding. Molly's mother explains that Molly, for the first time, spent two hours in the kitchen today making Laboni something, and Molly wanted to give it to her. Taposh comes out drying his face with a towel and looks at Molly. Molly hands the tiffin to Laboni and tells her to taste and tell her how it is, but looks at Taposh whilst she says this. Laboni replies that it must be good if Molly made it with love. Laboni invites them to sit but Molly says she has to go and pick up the dress which she had given the tailor to sew. Laboni tells Taposh to drop Molly at the tailors. Molly's mother does not look happy with the idea. Taposh tells Laboni that he has some important work to do, but Laboni persuades him, saying that it won't take long. Molly says to leave it, as she will go on her own, and her mother agrees. Laboni orders Taposh to drop off Molly and then do his work. Molly smiles slightly. She and Taposh leave. Laboni invites Molly's mother to sit. Molly's mother notices that Laboni looks worried and asks what it wrong. Laboni says Taani's engagement is coming, and Bimlendu had created an FD in her name, but she broke it and did all the preparations for the engagement. Molly's mother shakes her head and Laboni continues saying that they suddenly have more costs of around sixteen thousand rupees, but she doesn't understand how she will arrange for that amount of money so soon.
Molly's mother says Taani is also like her daughter, and has never differentiated between Taani and Molly, thus can she not do that much for Taani. She tells Laboni to take the money from her, thinking it's a wedding gift. Laboni refuses, but Molly's mother does not take no for an answer. Laboni finally agrees, but says it's a loan only for two or three days. Molly's mother says fine, and that she knows Laboni won't leave her stubbornness. Outside, Molly hesitates to sit behind Taposh on the motorcycle. Taposh tells her to come, and she nervously gets on the bike. Taposh tells her to sit properly and she nods. They are going through the streets when the motorcycle suddenly stumbles over rocks on the ground and Molly ends up falling against Taposh's back. He asks her what she's doing and tells her to sit properly, as it's not her father's car but his bike. He tells her to hold him properly otherwise she will fall. She slowly places a hand on his shoulder. Taposh steers the bike away and Molly watches him with a small smile on her face. She gets flashbacks of her interaction with Taposh when she was younger, and then gets flashbacks of their recent meetings. Taposh stops the bike and tells Molly that they have come so far yet still they cannot see the tailor's shop. He says they have come even outside of Howrah. Molly comes out of her day-dreaming and starts babbling, hesitating to speak. She says they left the shop behind and Taposh is surprised. He asks her why she did not tell him and what she was doing all that time.
Molly looks down awkwardly and Taposh says he is turning the bike around, so this time she should carefully tell him when the tailor's shop comes. Molly nods and Taposh turns the bike in the other direction. The scene changes and it is the evening. Laboni is telling a worker to take sweets to a table. She is back to her old hairstyle, and is grumbling about Neelu making her wear her hair in a bun. The phone suddenly rings and she answers it. It is Neelu's phone call, and Neelu asks Laboni why she has not come to the function yet. Laboni says she is just coming, and then hangs up the phone. She turns and is shocked to see Ritesh standing on the other side of the counter. She tells him she has sent the sweets so he can go, but Ritesh says the sweetness in her own house is about to finish. Laboni replies that none of his talks will create problems between the two families. She goes off to a worker, to tell them to close the shop and hand over the keys to her at Neelu's house. She goes to Ritesh and points a finger at him, saying he is the root of all problems in her life. Ritesh shakes his head and says she is wrong, as the problems that are about to come in her life will not be because of him, but will be because of her dear son Anurag. He tells her that even today Taani wants to keep the same old relation with Anurag; possibly even after the engagement and marriage, which after finding out, Sushant left the country. Laboni looks confused. He says anyone in Sushant's place would do the same.
Ritesh asks Laboni what kind of values she has given her daughter, and Laboni angrily grabs his shirt and tells him to keep quiet about her daughter. She says she has full faith in her daughter and tells him to keep his mouth shut. Ritesh says he will keep quiet, but she should go and find out the truth from her daughter, who will be there in some corner of the Ganguly house with Anurag. Ritesh says it will not cause any harm to Anurag, as he is a boy and even if he treads the wrong path, he will still get to marry Nupur, whereas no one will marry Taani once people find out that the groom has disappeared. Laboni pushes him away and rushes away, leaving Ritesh to look on smugly.
~ Part Three ~
Anurag is trying to fix his traditional Bengali attire, with wet hair as if he has just had a shower, but cannot get his dhoti on correctly. Taani arrives and looks apprehensively at what Anurag is doing. Taani says Neelu had told her that he needed to speak to her. Anurag steps closer but almost trips over his dhoti cloth, almost making it come off. He quickly grabs it and Taani laughs. Anurag grumbles, asking what the need is to wear a dhoti. Taani teases him, saying that he cannot even handle a Bengali dhoti and Anurag looks down irritated. She says he carried them well in childhood, but Anurag says it was different then and now he isn't the same Onu as before. Taani looks away sadly, saying that it is true. Suddenly Anurag sneezes loudly and Taani looks at him, saying that if he remains in the cold with wet hair, then he is bound to get ill. He continues sneezing and Taani makes a face. She leaves to get him a towel. She comes back with a towel and smiles when she sees that he is still sneezing. Taani comes to sit beside him and hands him the towel. He puts his head forward and tells her to wipe it. She starts drying his head with the towel, and he also does it with her. He asks her if he can ask her something and she says ask ahead. Anurag tells her to tell the truth and then speaks, saying that his married friends have scared him a little by saying that every wife throws her husband out of the house after marriage. Taani is surprised and smiles. Anurag looks away and starts thinking, saying that if Nupur throws him out of the house after marriage then where will he go.
He says Taani will also be settled in America, but then smiles and says he will go to Laboni Maa. Taani looks at him and smiles. Anurag asks her if all boys gets scared like this before marriage. Taani asks how would she know? Anurag says he knows that it is because all girls change after marriage, and tells stories about how two of his friends were thrown out of their homes by their wives and had to stay in their offices for three days. Taani leans her chin on her hand and looks at Anurag, smiling. Anurag continues saying that one of his friend's condition is so bad that he has to eat outside his own house like a dog. He laments that the same thing will happen to him after marriage. Taani asks whether he is really that afraid of marriage and Anurag says yes. She smiles. Anurag tells her not to do anything like this with Sushant. Taani's smile fades and Anurag continues saying that Sushant is an innocent guy and will never bother or torture her, and he knows that Taani will torture whoever tortures her. He says if anyone by mistake tortures her after marriage, then they will both be tortured. Anurag then jokes for her not to get fat after marriage, as she has already gotten so fat. Taani's mouth falls open and she playfully starts slapping him. Anurag continues teasing her, saying that she must have put on eight to ten kilos in the last eight years. Taani hits him again and he purposely sneezes on her face. Taani smiles at this. Anurag is about to sneeze again but stops and smiles at her, saying that it is better now. But then after a few moments, he sneezes again.
Nupur is pacing the hallway, dressed in her Bengali sari, in a dilemma. She looks at all the decoration and guests down below her and then is shocked to see Jackie enter through the main door of the house. She turns around stunned, wondering what he is doing there and what would happen if the family members found out the truth. Episode ends on her worried face.

I liked the episode 😃. I'll keep this short and sweet 😆: Loved the Anurag and Taani scene at the end- very cute 😳- I love the way they can be so free and happy around each other 😳. Anurag purposely sneezing on her was the best part 😆! I loved that! And also that line he gave earlier about Nupur turning him into a 'deewana' if she finds out about Sushant's 'pagalpan' 😆. Hated Ritesh, and hated Nupur 🤢. The Taposh and Molly scene was also very cute, funny how she was so lost in thoughts of him, that she forgot to tell him when the tailor's shop came 😆. Engagement please come soon!! 🥱😆
