Dutta's Concern - what an irony

If I think about how angry and concerned Dutta is regarding a stranger coming into his house I get reminded of the incident when an attempt was made on Supriya's life. Isn't it an irony that Dutta did not loose it or become this angry with his BG's or Baaji when someone tried to kill Supriya by adding poison to the AC. We all know that it was the trio's but Dutta didn't. Now why didn't we see the same kind of reaction. At least this time Dutta had guests in the house and it is not odd for a stranger to make an entry and try to harm one of his family members. But in Supriya's case why didn't Dutta wonder how someone have the guts to enter his house and try to harm his to-be wife. I don't even remember Dutta trying to do any kind of investigation into the matter.

Very true. I don't think we can read much into that: e.g. that he really did not feel for Supriya, etc.

I think it is a matter THAT was THEN and this is NOW. He had many more serious threats on his family since the Sups case, e.g. mandir, Naku being kidnapped by Anna, etc. So perhaps he is more aware of it.

And also, you can't help but to see the COLORS CVs hand in Dutta's rage re-emergence. While there is reason for it (more threats to family), it's also the C CVs being more "dramatic".
