Dill Mill Gayye has been a wonderful show from the beginning which we all fell in love with the instant it came on air. Even though at times I've hated the story line shown in Dill Mill Gayye, I am truly sad to see it going off air. Over the past 3 years, I've grown so attached to Dill Mill Gayye and AR that I don't think that I'll ever love another hindi show the way I've loved Dill Mill Gayye.
However, whenever I look on the Dill Mill Gayye section of india forums, I see more posts criticising and bashing Dill Mill Gayye and its casts than the number of posts that actually appreciate Dill Mill Gayye. And then the few posts which aren't dissing Dill Mill Gayye or its particular fan groups are attacked with fan groups who want to put down another particular fan groups, which lead to further dissing and then the thread being closed.
I honestly pity the people who have nothing better to do than bash particular characters/actors/fan groups because after the 15th of this month, Dill Mill Gayye will no longer be on air so what will they do? Where will they spend their time bashing and dissing Dill Mill Gayye and its actors and characters? I pray that those people find something better to do in their free time than to put down other people because it is seriously disgusting to read the trash some people write.
I fail to understand how people can seriously blame the actors or Dill Mill Gayye for the story line or the role the actors are portraying. The actors job is to act in the show....they don't get to make the storyline, so people seriously need to get a reality check and read some of the stuff their writing.
Its ok to support the couple you like, but putting down other couples and their fan groups within the show is very unreasonable. From my point of view, when fans bring an actor's personal life into their discussion to justify why the couple on DMG that they support is better just shows that the fan has no solid ground on what they are saying and they can't even think of any real reason to show why they support the particular couple. What an actor does in their personal does not reflect on the character they are portraying on Dill Mill Gayye and i think its low to bring their personal lives into a discussion to put down the character they are portraying.
Alas...once the show is finished so should the reason of all the bashing. I'm really curious as to what people will bash afterwards and where they'll take out their negativity. I really hope people find something better to do in their lives rather than putting down other people.
Dill Mill Gayye started out as a great show but over time the storyline did deteriorate, however that doesn't give people the right to bash the actors, as they are still putting in the effort and doing a superb job. I just wish that people could see the good things we've gotten from Dill Mill Gayye rather than just ranting about what they didn't like in the show.
We should learn to appreciate what we have rather than grovelling upon how things didn't go as we wanted. I'll always love Dill Mill Gayye for the wonderful show it has been and for all the awesome characters it has given me. I just wish it didn't have to come to an end so soon and especially in this way.
