"Wait!" Maan ran after Geet.

"What?" Geet turned to look at Maan. She crossed her hands and looked away from him. Her face was red with anger.

"Sorry, I was kind of in a bad mood." Maan looked at Geet.

"What did you say?" Geet said with her arms still crossed.

"I said I'm sorry."

"Wait, come again? I don't think I heard that properly," Geet said, cupping her left ear so she could hear better.

"I'm not saying it again. I already said it twice," Maan said sternly.

Geet examined Maan closely, looking him up and down before she finally put her hands down and nodded, "It's okay."

Maan rolled his eyes, "You're such a drama queen! You know that?"

Geet laughed, "I'm sorry too. I guess I shouldn't have bothered you, huh? I mean, you seemed like you were kind of depressed..."

"Yeah...I was just thinking about something..." Maan trailed off. "So...umm, we're still friends?" he asked Geet and held out his hand just like she had before.

"Yeh sab hone ke baadh? Sochna padega," she smiled and walked away.

"What?" Maan turned around.

"Kyun! Ho Gaya Na..." Geet replied.

"Why? What happened?" Maan was extremely confused.

Geet turned to Maan, "It's a movie, Maan." Seeing his confused face she added, "You know, that movie with Vivek Oberoi and Aishwarya Rai..."

Maan shook his head.

"Don't tell me...you don't watch movies?"

"Umm, no. Why?"

"You don't watch movies?" Geet was horrified.

"No."

Geet tried to smile, "Well, then, you listen to music right?" She prompted Maan.

"No..." Maan started. "Well, I mean, I used to listen to a few..."

Geet stepped back in horror and covered her mouth. "What?" she tried to say, but her voice got caught in her throat. She cleared it and tried again, "What! You don't even listen to music? Like, you don't have an ipod or anything?"

Maan shook his head again. He didn't understand why this was such a huge issue to Geet. Geet leaned back against the wall for support. She looked like she wanted to say something, but she would open her mouth, and then close it again without saying anything.

"Are you okay, Geet?" Maan asked, stepping closer to Geet.

"Wow...I mean, how can one person be sooo boring?" Geet finally said.

"Geet!"

"No, really, you are. I'm totally serious." Geet said. "No movies and no music. All you do is work, work, and more work. You need more excitement in your life!

"Geet!"

"I know my name is Geet, so you don't have to keep on repeating it, okay." Geet stopped Maan. "You know what, I have an idea. Come with me," she grabbed Maan's hand and pulled him across the house to her room and made him sit on her bed. "Wait here," she commanded and walked over to her closet. Maan stretched his neck, trying to see what Geet was doing, but he couldn't see. "Here it is!" Geet exclaimed and walked back to Maan. She held out a pair of earphones and prompted Maan to put them on.

Just as she turned on her iPod, Nakul knocked on the door and said, "Geet Ma'am, Dadimaa asked you to come downstairs really quick."

Geet looked at Nakul and then at her iPod and then back at Nakul, "Umm, okay tell her I'll be there right away," she told Nakul. "And you! You stay right here!" Geet told Maan as she walked out of her room.

Maan looked down at the iPod Geet had left in his hands. He scrolled through the songs and saw several titles he had never heard of before like, "Tere Bin," "Chaha Hai Tujhko," Tujhe Bhula Diya," "Do Pal," and "Sach Keh Raha." He scrolled through the entire list, looking for any titles he recognized, but didn't find any, and Geet wasn't back yet either, so he though he'd try listening to some of these songs.
