I feel most of the music directors tend to experiment with fresh, unheard voices rather than giving chance to reality show singers. Barring few most of the new star singers in hindi fim industry today are unknown faces, not the reality show participants.

What has made Pritam give away so many offers to Niraj Sridhar who has a nasal voice with very limited range, even in madhya saptak he needs auto tune to correct pitch, is voice character that important>

And can any one please explain to me the choice of Atif.

Singers like them need softwares, even then it is besura many at times. I read some where Pritam is so fond of his voice that when Atif couldn't get a visa once, he flew to Karachi to record him..!

What is that thing seen by Pritam not visible to me. And I do not intend to bash any of them, this is opinion purely about their singing.

Another way to be successful in to be born in a musical family or have a good MD as a God Father and sponser.

If you are good looking and charasmatic then it will help a lot.

Another way is to be sucessful singer be Music director first then compose the song which fits your style. Jai Himmesh😊
