Well it's Debut OR Break-Through song Round. Not all the songs have been actual debuts. So I guess this was his Break-Through song. Yes quite popular. And great selection. Though maybe too early. 😕

I think this is one of Javed Ali's best works. That's why I was surprised to see it in Round 1, because it wasn't even necessary to bring it in.

Nonetheless, great singing here. Great voice clarity throughout the song, there were many areas where he needed to sing soft and slow, and he did those very well.

Where he really takes off his the post-main sequence.

His high-pitches were well done, and there was no loss in clarity. There was also many different notes he hit through these sequences, and he even added some great harkats.

Overall, this was a very strong performance. Possibly Javed Ali's best. Oh also great song.

I had to drop a big trump card bomb in the first round to geta perfect start for the stig. Javed Ali ha been a struggling singer and it took a long decade for this work to be recognized. So, to make the unknown as known, I chose this track.

The forte of this track (for today's era) is a good blend of perfect voice clarity, adding immensely beautiful harkats with a hint of smile, and of course, th awe inspiring tune by ARR. With him at the helm, you can expect nothing but the best. he perfectly blends classical tunes with today's modern tunes and the result is a pure awe inspiring composition.
Now, lets make it clear-the track may seem easy at first, but when going deeper into the middle portions, the attention to the minutest of detail can be found and since this track is a romantic genre picturised in a period movie, its important that it carries the whole story forward, which itself is a big challenge for both the singer and composer.

javed Ali does a perfect job and ARR's pick for this track could have been nothing better than him. the soft music, great singing with a perfect semi rustic tone and clarity is what sets it apart.

The best part is back to basics approach and keeping things simple, which gives the ultimate reward-miles of listening pleasure to the end listener. A perfect track for any mood. Listen to it and appreciate this talent, who sadly still underrated.

Seems a bit early for one of the best songs of his career.

Beautiful song and beautiful lyrics. Although this is one of his strongest songs!

When I first heard this song I kept wondering who the singer was. Because the singing was so good. So close to flawless! Again this is a song that requires a lot of soul to be put into the singing. And Javed ji really did put his heart and soul into singing the song. Its a sweet, melodious song! Javed ji did such a fabulous job singing it. I was really impressed. His clarity was so sharp! Even his higher notes were so close to being perfect. There was no part in the song where there was a sense of struggle in his voice. He maintained it so well and sung a hard song with so much ease. I'm just left in awe with his singing in this song.
