Komal told Kesar she still had time to fix her mistake and squash the charges against her sasuma and pati. She applied the same intimidation tactics on Kesar she had inherited from her vile mother. Not so fast Komal, said Prats. She was not backing off today. She reminded Komal that a woman didn't have to take the abuse just bec' she did so in the past. KN could up the ante and take it too far and do worse the next time. Probably kill Kesar? Guns are after all his toys and shooting is child's play to him. Does he value human life at all? He has shown no remorse for aborting/killing five of his babies. Komal was surprised to hear that her evil mother had been in the room and had a choice to stop KN but she didn't. SDS was therefore as guilty of the crime as her son. Prats challenged Komal to consider how SDS could as a woman have stood by and watched such crimes afflicted on another woman. The answer is obvious. She was as malicious as they come! So the regular rules don't apply here.
Prats told Komal to hear the truth from Kesar if she was not inclined to take her word for it. Komal didn't want to. Why would she? She was not interested in the truth neither was she ready to handle it! She knew what her family was capable of doing, she saw it with her own eyes when the same two perpetrators Amma and KN had set up the kitchen to barbacue Prats not too long again. Where was the girl who had a working moral compass back then? Komal was only interested in getting her mother and KN freed of the charges. Truth can go tel lene as far as she was concerned, she was in mood to hear it. That included the details of all that happened to Kesar. Komal told Prats to stay out of it if she was not inclined to help her family, the Takurs. Well, Komal, you seem to have forgotten yours is part of a buy one get one free marriage deal. Prats, give Komal a dose of vitamin B-12 while you are at it, will help with boosting her memory, she seems to have forgotten some vital information that could come in handy just about now. Prats wasn't in a mood to patronize her bhabhi. She reminded Komal that being part of a family didn't mean letting turning a blind eye to evil acts within the family, it was more important to stand up for the truth and help someone in need, not sweep the crime under the rug. It boils down to whether one can live with it. Amazing isn't it, how RED can sleep at night knowing fully well what they did was criminal? They are the perfect specimens of sociopaths'. they lack of a conscience, manipulate others, dishonest, unable to love and/or have lasting and profound personal relations and cruel. No wonder everyone else, including the viewers are furious at RED, there are a vicious threesome.
Komal argued she wasn't interested in sainthood or fight for the truth. Well, you don't have to apply for sainthood to show some empathy for Kesar, your bhabhi who has known you for many years and probably indulged you as a child. Would you care to walk in her shoes for just one teensy minute? Will you be so indifferent had it been your baby that was killed or your husband that beat you to a pulp for you would be a bruised and battered woman by now. Lucky for you, your brother Krishna cared enough about your happiness as well when he saved you from getting into the clutches of a vile Takur like your father and older brother. Why are you so insensitive to your bhabhi's plight? Next time there is a problem in your maike your bhabhis will know where your loyalties lie. Weren't you the one who warned the same two people, your Amma and KN, to not burn Prats alive or else you'd blow the whistle on them and testify against them in court as well? Seems like the advice Adarsh babu gave you about not believing everything at face value, has already been conveniently forgotten. Komal told Prats to consider opening a store at Civil Lines to sell her truth and lies, but she just wasn't interested in them. Sure you wouldn't be! Why would you? You were willing to lie to defend your mother even after knowing what your mother and KN had done before and are capable of doing. Does it take sacrificing someone else's life for you to wake up? You are lucky you have it easy at the Saxsenas thanks to Krishna.
Prats tried to convince Kesar that she was committing a grave mistake if she withdrew her FIR. KN was only putting on an act and the minute she squashed the FIR he would be back to his old patterns of behavior. Kesar spoke like a true battered woman. How could she punish her husband who has repented for his actions, when she was supposed to stand by him and she couldn't be happy punishing him. Forget what others say. Think about yourself for a change, lady! Was this the first time this big bad wolf had apologized that she readily bought into his charade? Kesar, what happens when he comes after you the next time? He is putting on a marvelous act till you drop the case and will definitely come after you. He may hold off on the physical abuse but will go for the emotional and verbal variety for a change and you will be a sucker for it.
Prats couldn't believe Kesar could forget the beating and the loss of her child so easily. She promised to lend her full support to Kesar to hold Amma and KN accountable for their criminal behavior. We understand you have not known a better life, but when someone throws you a lifeline, at least take a look at it and try to grab it with both hands before you sink into the muck once again. But Komal was had other plans. She practically dragged Kesar off the bed to get to the police station. Sad to see someone so mired in her age-old beliefs and not emotionally or psychologically equipped to handle a new of handling matters just yet. If she is the poster woman for all those abused women out there, let us see her find the courage to stand up and fight back once she had handled the trauma of the years of abuse. Someone needs to step in and help her. Krishna and Prats are the only ones who give a care about her well-being. But within the walls of a fortress, will the Takurs allow her to get well? Things look rather bleak at the moment. When will she ever get a chance to fight back and if she does, will she ask Prats for help and take a stand the next time?
Komal told Krishna to redeem himself in the family's eyes by taking Kesar and her to the police station so Kesar could withdraw the complaint. You are one to talk, lady, take a look at your own behavior before you give the only other decent and sane person in that family advice on appropriate behavior. Krishna left with them leaving an emotional Prats behind with Ganti Dadi who comforted and assured her she had done nothing wrong.
Komal arrived just as bail papers were presented by SS's lawyer. Why didn't the Inspector pay attention to Komal holding on to Kesar's arm when she brought her in. Didn't he suspect she might have been there under duress? Komal lied through her teeth that Kesar had fallen down the stairs and severely hurt herself. Amma and SS looked on with pride grateful for having raised a lying rat who saved their sorry behind this day. She even added on that her other bhabhi, Prats had taken advantage of the situation. Great going Komal! Did you forget she's Adarsh's sister? Was the police officer recording this conversation? He must, so Adarsh can hear how his wife sold his sister to save her mother and brother for a crime they committed. Krishna was surprised but stayed a silent spectator in this fiasco. Komal looked at Krishna, guilt written all over her face. Kya fayda? She knew she was lying and still did it anyways. Well Komal beta, remember this day, for what goes around comes around. This lie will come to bite you in the rear soon, just hope your Krishna bhaiyya and Prats bhabhi are there to help you out. Wait till Adarsh finds out. Your lovey-dovey married life just sprouting wings will go tel lene, crash on the rocks and you will be picking up the pieces all over again. Live and learn!
SS, the consummate politican, doled out a backhanded insult to Krishna while praising his daughter for stepping in to defend the family honor and bailing them out of their predicament. Komal was proud. Yeah be proud, girl. If lying and getting away with it is what floats your boat for now, enjoy it, your comeuppance will be waiting down the road. No one gets away from the truth, nobody. It always finds a way to out itself like it or not. You better wish Krishna is in a good mood when he finds you had a few secrets to tell and chose to keep it to yourself. He will know exactly where your loyalties lie.
SS and Amma were relieved that they dodged a bullet headed their way. Kesar had flashbacks of the reaction of family members to this situation. Komal waited nervously for Kesar to back up her conjured up story. Amma watched anxiously and KN was back to sniffing his fingersšš¼. SS knew they had gotten away with it. He told the police officer that Kesar kept the family together and was a quiet woman while his other bahu was educated and self-centered. Takur saheb, you told Krishna you'd talk about stuff once you get home why are you making your bahu, his wife the villain in the story at the police station? The pieces are piling up, Krishna is watching, his expression indicating he is taking mental notes. Good Baba, you will figure it all out soon enough. When Krishna stepped up to defend Prats after SS badmouthed her to the Inspector SS told him they could talk about it at home later.
Kesar you are going to regret this decision very soon. You know Prats was on your side but you are not yet equipped to handle a different outcome after all these years of abuse. You knew what you were going to do today was not a good idea and doing it anyways. Yes, you are a battered woman and that's your excuse. At some point this will come to haunt you, you will have to face the consequences of today's decision when that day comes. That loser husband of yours is already smirking that he got away with it scot-free. It will only make him bold enough to try it again. He won't change his ways so easily.
Today we saw SS openly criticize Prats in front of Krishna in a public place. Baba was quietly watching his family closely. Your family is out to get rid of Prats by hook or crook and own you like a piece of real estate, so pay heed to their actions.
Krishna now that you have seen the sociopaths in the family for who they are, get back home, have a convo with Prats, then start putting the pieces together and strike when the iron is hot before things go off the deep end.
Komal you have to live with yourself for your actions today. How insensitive can you get? You could have taken a more sympathetic approach in pleading with Kesar to drop the case. Instead you went for the bully approach. The seedha-saadha Saxes didn't influence you much after all these months. You have proven you are Takurain Sumitra DeviL Singh's daughter after all. So insensitive, to the plight of one who couldn't fight back. This is how you thank your brother for saving you from the clutches of being married to a vile Takur, by sending his wife up the river?
