Where is this show heading?

Srgmp started off very well this season. It was very promising and I was looking forward to a very good season. But looking at this week's elimination I am shocked! Both the contestants are trained singers and both their performances were not extremely praiseworthy, but at the same time did not demand elimination.

So how were these two finalised?

Are these shows meant to be musically entertaining or otherwise? Why focus so much on a singer personally than singing itself? Why so much of drama in such a bad taste? When a couple of contestants were tensed about their fate in the show, highlighting another contestant missing her father, just because she does not reside in India??!!

I feel this show is not for genuine singers but for those who can act and get attention on themselves, who sing incidentally! Sad that this show which was a pioneer and original when it was started has its eyes now only on TRP and drama. God save this show!
