CHAPTER-16

Heer: Dad how do you find out every time I skip my dinner?? She asked him very innocently' Balraj: Because I'm not only your father but your mother too'..'He answered with concern as he brought a spoonful of rice near her mouth.

Heer: No papa'.I'm really not feeling hungry please don't force me papa please''''''..' She asked her father with a small pout on her face.

Balraj kept the plate aside and took her in his arms and heer immediately kept her head on her fathers' shoulder and closed her eyes feeling content''

Balraj: So now tell me why my princess is sad'..did anyone say anything to her'.tell me princess we shall shoot them'

He said by tickling her again'..Heer smiled at her father's concern and shook her head in negative.

Heer: nothing papa really I'm not hungry'..u know naaa I had eaten a lot in the evening'''

Balraj: are you sure?

Heer: Hmm

Balraj: Then why is my princess still awake??

Heer lifted her face and looked at balraj and then at the frame that is placed on table near bed''He understood everything. He just placed a hand on her head and left from there.

As soon as Balraj left, prem made his way in without making any noise. Heer was in deep thought. She hugged her knees to her chest and bends her head down. He stood behind her bed. Prem looked at the frame and immediately identified the frame was heer's mother'.anyone can tell that photo was her mothers' as it clearly showed the resemblance. He felt a tug of pain in his heart upon seeing Heer so in pain. He placed his hand on Heer's head caressing her hair. Heer felt someone caressing her hair and mistook him to be her father.

Heer: 'I need her now papa''I miss her dearly'''.why did she leave us alone????''..she doesn't love me papa''????....but I love her sooooo much''''.' Heer said with tearfull eyes and looked up.

For few minutes she didn't say anything as she is hell shocked on seeing prem in her room. Before she could shout she is shushed by prem's hand on her lips'..

Prem: heer why didn't you have your dinner?

Prem questioned her in a commanding tone but concern was visible in his eyes as he stared into her eyes.

Prem: Answer me. How could you leave me and come back and that too without having dinner??

Heer is just drowning in his eyes which are looking at her with sooooooooooo much love'..Does he really loves me'..?

Prem observed the change in her expressions and how cute she looked. He felt he would never be satisfied even if we had a whole life to look at her. He again questioned her when he felt pain in his stomach.

Heer gave a nice punch in prem's stomach and made him cry in pain'.Heer winked at him. Even in such a situation all Prem could think of was to take her into his arms and just kiss her completely and madly but he was not here for some other reasons.

Heer: Idiot you kept your hand on me and you're asking me to anwer. Are u insane or what''??? Oho I'm sorry why am I even asking you.. you're insane' THE COMPLETE LOOSE'.' and laughed seeing prem's glaring''.

Prem: yes my dear sweet heart you're absolutely correct only Loose persons can love u'..Normal people can never love you and love is far away no one can like you''''.'

Prem now returned her winning look back but seeing her face fell he felt pain in his heart'..normally she would have answered to him but she is not herself'..he didn't know but he is sure that something happened in function..she is fine until the dance but after that she disappeared and also he remember her sad face in the hotel garden area''.he waned t to ask her what happened but not now''

Heer told him with sarcasm

Heer: 'Thanks prem I know that no one loves me and its old news now come on tell me something fresh and breaking'..'

She is trying to hard keep herself not to break her emotions before prem''heer u cant become weak before him'u have to control come on girl u can'..pls heer control urself''.'

Prem observing her emotions he knew that she needs shoulder to cry without wasting a second prem held her hand pulled her towards his chest hardly and possessively kept his one hand on her head and other on her waist'''..and just hugged her close to his heart and made her listen his heart beat'..to tell her that she rested in that place (his heart)''' She felt so at peace. Her pains vanishing, slowly she wrapped her hands around him and for sometime they were lost.

It was truly a blissful moment for Prem when he felt Heer holding on to him. He could see that slowly she was settling down but after minutes of peace the clock struck 1 a.m. causing them to step apart.

Prem: so soon to be Mrs.Heer Prem Juneja what's bothering you? prem asked her by holding her hand'..heer for a minute looked in his eyes which are speaking volumes but heer is heer she just nudged him away.

Heer: 'prem u been in ur limits'..and what is this new name Mrs. Heer Prem Juneja'..u better keep your crap with you'.Got It'.' She told him with full on attitude.

Prem got irritated he came all the way through the long pipe and was almost about to break his bones and she was showing him attitude. Sometimes she acts so childish, sweet and at times arrogant, rich brat. He pulled her into his arms.

Prem: What the hell is wrong Heer and don't give the damn answer you gave to your father because I'm not ready to believe it..

Heer tried all possible ways to free herself but he wouldn't budge. She lost her temper.

Heer: Don't you know what my problem is??? It's you.. My biggest problem.. Prem Juneja

She saw the expression on his face change. His eyes full of pain. He left her and she turned away unable to face him.

Heer: Go away.

Prem walks to her and gets hold of her hand and twirls her. She is back in his arms again.

Prem: If you don't want to tell me that's ok. I would wait till you tell it to me yourself.

He smirked at her. Heer just stared at him agape while Prem took this opportunity to kiss her. He pulled her closer, her hands clasping around his neck and his rubbing her back. He finally broke the kiss and made her sit on the bed. He took the plate and brought a spoonful of rice in front of her mouth. He fed her very sweetly that Heer could think of nothing for a while.. jus him' he came all the way for her.. to see if she was ok.. she felt she should apologize..

Heer: Premmm I'I mean I'm so sor'

Before she could continue, she felt her lips on hers and she felt leaning back on bed. She hit the bed with Prem on the top of her. She couldn't help but kiss him as she felt she really owed him one. Slowly she felt his lips moving to her cheeks, covering whole of her face and then moving to her neck. She was lost in his love cage and had her eyes slowed. He moved back to her lips and kissed her once again. Finally he gave one last kiss on her forehead and got up to leave. Heer had her eyes closed. As Prem moved away from her bed, he felt something hold him back.

Heer caught his wrist and still on bed turned to face him. She asked him in a very cute voice.

Heer: Can you please sing a nice song for me? My ipod charge is down and I don't get sleep without listening to songs. Pleaseeee'. As much as I hate to admit it, but really you sing well'

Prem couldn't help but laugh when she said that. He nodded his head and went to sit on the side of the bed as she rolled to the middle. He was really confused by Heer's actions. One moment she fights with him, then kisses him, then acts like a kiddo' but it's all these which made him fell for her more and more with every passing day. He decided to tell his feelings properly to her and there's no better way of expressing than a song'

He saw her close her eyes, hugging the teddy close to her heart with one hand while the other was still holding on to him. He bent down close to her face. Her skin felt like silk. He rested his hand on her hair caressing it.

He stretched his legs on the bed and leaned as his head came to rest on the pillow beside her. He turned to face her and his lips were again caressing whole of her face while he sang.

He uttered these lines close to her ear as if in a whisper.. only for her to hear.

He lay flat on his back, pulling her on to him and closed his eyes. All he could see was her and sang the rest of the song.

For Heer, it was like she was transported to some other world, where she could see nothing beyond Prem's love for her. She wasn't sure of her love but his love made her forget all her senses. He kissed her numerous times by now but never did he go beyond that.

She had trusted his love more than him and she was sure nothing would happen. She had her eyes closed and let him do what he wanted. She could make out that he was madly in love with her. He just chose the right song.

She could feel herself in every word of his as she lay close to his heart and heard his heart beating for her. For the first time she found someone who loved her more than her father.

She felt so special and lucky to have him. She was his and he wanted to make that clear to her once and for all.

It was 2:30 and the thought of Preet struck him. He carefully got away from her grip not before kissing her once more. He was at the window and turned back to see her sleeping with a content smile on her face. He felt his mission succeeded. She was at peace.

When she felt he left the room, Heer slowly opened her eyes. She tiptoed to the curtain and hid behind it. She peeked down through the window.

She saw him jumping in joy as he still carried on him the song. He was running when he tripped over a stone and then composed himself. He seemed so cute. Heer giggled. He turned back but could find no one as she hid behind the curtain. He ran his hand across his hair and left.

Preet woke up when he felt someone singing and then noticed it was his PB. He glanced at his watch and it was 2:35 a.m. He was shocked. His PB definitely has gone mad. He got out of the car and rushed to him.

Preet catches hold of his PB while Prem was in total glee. He assumes Preet to be Heer and starts to dance. Heer enjoys his happiness watching him from the window.

Budhu zara sa hoon main

Preet shakes him up and then he notices that it was Preet. He mentally kicks himself for acting so mad in love in front of Preet.

Preet notices his brother feeling awkward but there was something other which caught his sight and he made his brother turn back. Prem noticed Heer standing near the window.

Prem thought it was just perfect. Not only Preet but also Heer caught him. He gave her a helpless smile while she also returned the same smile as her act of peeking out of the window was caught by them. She waved her hand and returned back to bed and they left from there.
