Geet had to do this she had to let Maan know the truth. The bitter truth which had the power to rip apart the toughest of the hearts and she knew Maan loved her. He had made is clear on more than one occasions and it was her who had been fighting her heart. He never did, he was giving in; though slowly' but it was much easier for him but for her, it was probably the worse feeling even more than the knowledge that she had been betrayed or her own brother had decided that she has to die for their sins.
But what did Maan say. The words ripped her heart more than anything else. How could he say that he thought she was only his' and that too when he knew in his heart that she was. she had a past full of demons.
It was his love, the thought of losing him, the guilt of betrayal that could have been gave her the courage to say the truth in front of him.
She was the one who was at lost if he decided to let her go out of his life. But still she couldn't have carried on without telling him the whole truth. She never expected this man to be like the one who betrayed her. But was he?
In her heart she knew he wasn't he was the one who kept her honor before anything. He fought with almost everyone who blurted even a single insult for her. But how could he at this time. Wasn't she prepared for any reaction, maybe she wasn't? His words had hurt her beyond comprehension. She had to go out of his life. maybe he will be able to move on. But what about her, would she be able to.
Here she sees entering in the station she hid herself from his sight but for how long would she be able to do that. He was looking for her as if he life depended on his search. Did she have a right to let him go through this pain once more? What was his fault? He was a guy in love he conquered his demons for his love for her. He could have said that because he was hurt. He protected her like a guardian angel. He has been her rock since she was turned away by her own. He saved her life risking his own. He changed himself for her. He was justified in feeling hurt. His pain manifested in those most painful words. He understood her all the time. Now it is her turn to do that.
The train has given the last signal but why her feet are betraying her at this moment. Why is she feeling that they have been cemented with the ground right now? She has to move but why is every step breaking her from inside, more than anything else? For how long can she fight with herself? She has to. Or no she can't see him breaking. The glistening tears in his eyes were the most painful sight she had ever seen. How can she let them fall on the ground she has to kiss them away before they leave his eyes.
She has to see him, go to him and embrace him with all her love, and that's what exactly she would do.
I just thought the kind of dilemma which made Geet leave maan. Please do leave a comment.
