Benaf Dadachanji gets a taste of royalty

You last saw her as the adorable Radhika in Baa Bahoo aur Baby. Now's the time for Benaf Dadachanji to sit in a time machine and transport herself back to a bygone era and get a taste of royalty as she begins to essay a brand-new role for Zee TV's epic historical saga Jhansi Ki Rani.

Confirming the news, Benaf said, "Yes, I'm playing the role of a sweet, innocent girl Ganga. She's the granddaughter of Dai Maa, the matron who attends to the Rani. She'll be seen as a starry-eyed, small-town girl who gets overwhelmed looking at the huge palace of Maharaja Gangadhar Rao and all the luxuries it offers! The character will be seen getting deeply inspired by the Rani's bravery and valour. I'm quite kicked about the role! After performing the role of Baby for 5 long years, I took a break. I travelled a lot and then accepted this project because I found it rather off-the-beaten-track!"

If sources are to believed Benaf will start shooting from this weekend.
