It's quite evident DMG is following the KANK way..Now let's see who is maker of KANK Karan Johar..He is known for making FAMILY movies...Did ANY critic say 'OMG..Karan Johar made a movie on EMA!'.

Great actors like Amitabh Bachan,Shah Rukh Khan , Preity Zinta , Rani Mukherjee , Abhishek Bachan were a part of it..Do any of these actors regret doing this movie..No.B'cuz it shows love can come any time..

SRK - Preity had a love marriage but still SRK found solace in Rani..Rani thought she will live happily with Abhishek but she found her happiness in SRK..

Now coming to the audience NONE of the people here said 'No we can't watch this movie.It is about EMA..I have watched this movie like many times and I have watched it with my parents..'

If DMG goes the KANK way I have no problem..cuz I have problem with DMG then I will have a problem with KANK..I absolutely love KANK..So CV's bring on this track...we supported you for 2 years and we will continue to do so

well said dear though i dont support EMA seeing ridhimas character it seems that she didnt move a inch bit she loves loves arman. and sid uske samne sare proves hote hue bhi wo ignore kata raha . so jo ho raha hai ya hoga wo quite natural hai. though i dont know kya hoga bt physical i think nehi hoga

Loved reading your post Trish!! We finally get to see some AR loving!!!

I don't understand why people have such a problem with this track? I don't support EMA but it's a show for crying out loud!!! Entertainment hai and I for one am looking forward to seeing KaJen light the screen on fire with their chemistry!!! Loved KANK and love KaJen / AR!!!

Okay I want to answer to your post. First of all it is a wrong to say Kabhi Alvida na Kehna is a hit. No it was not a hit in India. Why. because people didn't find anything that made them go again and again to the cinema halls. It was a moderate hit in US and UK and that is because that was SRK movie in almost 2 yrs to hit the screen and because the prices were jacked up for this picture the returns were moderate. You want to know how I know it. Because I was in US for past 13 yrs and know the movie rates and knew that the prices were raised for this movie. So I hope this clears your so called claim that the movie was a hit.

Second coming to the so called comparison between this movie and the DMG track there is no similarity. First in that movie SRK and Preity don't have a happy married life courtesy the accident SRK suffers which hampers his career but here Sid and Riddhima married for the second time and they were starting out the married life on a good note. So I don't see any comparisons between a bitter and frustrated husband who can't stand by and look at his wife going higher places and lovable Sid who wants to love his wife.

Yeah I do see comparisons between Rani and Riddhima as both women were confused. Rani was confused on her marriage day and Riddhima too is now shown to be confused. But no where in the movie do either Rani or SRK justify their one night stand and if you see in the end they do tell their partners that they are sorry to hurt them. And here I don't see how come AR fans are justifying the track that too with this movie when in the movie itself both the characters who did the crime didn't justify it. But then they say to each its own and you see the world through the colored glasses that you have on. Peace out girl.

Ewwwww.. First of all.. EVERYONE criticized KANK to death.. And it's a HUGE flop in India..

Secondly.. You prolly missed Coffee With Karan where SRK and Rani said, they had done the movie ONLY and ONLY for KJo.. Otherwise they could never agree to such BS krap.. And to add one more point, Rani said she was offered the role of Preity and she jumped for tht.. And then KJo made her lead, and she HAD to do that for the sake of friendship.. 😊

Abhishek and Amitabh were in the BEST possible roles.. Why regretting? Will WAHI regret being Sid? NO..

Now coming to KANK-lovers, people who loved KANK, will watch this shit.. and love this AR shit too..😛 So that's expected..

That's all.. Being a SRK/Rani lover, thought to clarify few doubts of urs🥱 And in fact I am #1 fan of Kajol who was given two options btwn KANK and one Ghatiya movie.. And she chose the other one.. 😆

And to add to psara n guddi srk said in an interview tht maya n raj(srk n rani) will ever be happy together in real life coz they messed up others life to fulfil their selfish ends..sooo ihere u go

May be DMG is following KANK in a way.......but there is a whole lot of difference between this two..... in DMG AR were in a relationship before but due to some certain circumstances Riddhima got married to Sid....Riddhima started to have feelings for Sid but in KANK Rani's character never had any feeling's for Abhishek's character and when she gets to know SRK after marriage she feels something which she never ever felt for Abhishek .....so i find the scenario different here.....also as you said no one criticised Karan Johar for KANK but there were a lot of criticisms and KJo even had to give many clarifications for the film...i also remember SRK in one of his interviews said he does not think that Maya and Dev will live happily ever after .

DMG can follow any movie and DMGfy it.. before too when we were expecting KHNH part from DMG, they twisted it by making Sid say he didnt write anything😉!!! If u say KANK... they want ppl to believe it is going that way, but they might twist the story...😊
