Amma will never, ever control baba. She couldn't before marriage and certainly not now....even if Prats was no longer in krish'a life. Krish will always remember how his mother was with his beloved Prats, always. That will colour his response to her.

When he wanted to have his father go with the shagun, he came looking for SS...he ate with his mother, talked and etc but only told his father....Later Amma said 'why didn' you tell me'....that is more telling, he doesn't think too much of her that is why. Otherwise what son/daughter while eating and chatting not let slip about that they are thinking of marraige?...........even when SS was against it, Amma tried to persuade him to change his mind he turned around and said ' I only want Pratigyaji, no one else'.......later he said 'Everyone would die of jealousy when I marry her'....he was so right. His mother is the only one burning up brighter than the sun now.

Oh my God, you just reminded me of something. Remember the episode when Prats was lame coming back because she was at the maika discussing her father's court case, and in the meantime Amma asks Krishna what has he gotten out of this marriage? And then she is like as long as I am here, I will always look after you. She openly mocked his marriage to Prats because it was never consummated. It became proof that she didn't love him. And now, she can't even use that because not only has Prats confessed her love but she gave herself, mind and body. Krishna's broken faith has been sealed.

that is what I meant, Trins. She is so messed up, desperately looking for things to break her son's faith in his wife. Constantly taunting him and pointing out his wife's fault - whether real or imagined. No one likes that at all. What Amma wants is Prats to be on her knees, her face downward and silent like a doll. She cannot stand that not only does Krish gives Prats freedom to do as she please but he also supports her often without knowing any of the facts. That is a true sign of love and trust in your wife. She in her marriage never even got a single acknowledgement that she meant anything to her husband......so her DIL to be given more respect and adoration than her is actually tapping into her greatest fear. That one day Prats will be the Maharani of the Thakur Niwas, when Amma never even had the foot in the door for that title.

You know she will be dangerous now. She knows they are one now and that will eat her up, so she will give herself away now...but I think she will do some damage or try to...and her attack on Prats will intensify unless SS orders her to be discrete.
