Jyoti tells Kabir that she can't let him leave, or else, bapusa will think that she's taking away his son from him. RP is touched. Jyoti then goes to Sumer and asks him to forget everything, and agree to a new beginning. After prodding by RP, Sumer reluctantly agrees. Jyoti & Kabir return to their room. Chachi-sa is pissed, and RP notes her emotion.
In their room, Kabir jokingly asks Jyoti how she dared go against his decision. She tells him that when Asha held her hand, it was like an appeal for help, and his staying helped her realize her mistake. Now she's sure to help them. The 2 of them have a cute chat. Kabir asks her what exactly Asha told her, and Jyoti tells him that she doesn't want to bother him when he's busy helping his father w/ the elections. Asha bhabi will be her responsibility.
Kabir is called, and his dad wants him to come to a party meeting. Jyoti tells him to manage everything outside home, while she manages things @ home. He leaves, and Jyoti notes that she has to fight these family squabbles herself, and she'll keep trying, even though it'll take time.
Bhavri enters her room dancing, but seeing Raghu, she stops. He asks her what she got today that she's dancing about? Bhavri laughs, & says Jyoti, Jyoti, Jyoti. Raghu says that whatever happened today was good, and her dancing is appropriate. Bhavri is overjoyed.
Bhavri then goes to Jyoti's room, pulls her and starts dancing w/ her. Jyoti is happy as well, and asks her what's she celebrating? She tells her what Raghu told her, and starts dancing, and Jyoti laughs (Bhavri has replaced Jyoti as the official dancer in this show from now on 😆) Jyoti thinks to herself that even small joys like this are suppressed in this household, but once people get them, they become so happy.
Suddenly, Bhavri becomes serious, sits down and starts crying. Jyoti asks her the deal, and she says that she's worried about what'll happen in future. Jyoti tells her that one doesn't dampen one's present happiness worrying about that. Bhavri asks her whether Sumer will reform? Jyoti tells him not anytime soon, it will take time. This fight has just begun. Bhavri is excited to hear about a fight, and offers to steal his gun 😆 Jyoti says that this fight won't be fought w/ guns, but that they have to restore Asha her confidence, since this fight is hers, not theirs. Bhavri suggests that she'll look for self- confidence anywhere she can find it, and then give it to Asha didi. They both have a good laugh about it. 😆
Sumer comes to Asha, but unlike his usual self, he just taps her on the shoulder, but Asha is terrified as usual. This time, Sumer is not angry, but just somewhat amused, and asks her why she's afraid, since Jyoti is there w/ her. He then sings a bit, then slaps himself 😆 and then tells her that right now, he won't tell her anything. He tells her she's free to go, but one thing - don't talk to Jyoti, and don't listen to her. If she does, he'll gag Jyoti, and have a rope ready for her. Asha is frightened & leaves. 😭
At the Lok Seva Party office, Kabir & Raghu are w/ RP discussing w/ party officials political work.
Bhavri, Jyoti & Reema are in the kitchen. Asha comes in and Jyoti tries talking to her, but she ignores her - almost like a snub. All 3 of them are surprised, and Asha then leaves. That night, Asha is massaging Sumer's leg while he is asleep. Jyoti comes there, but Asha nods to her not to, and she closes the door on her.
This way, time passes. A few months later, one day, while massaging her feet, Manthara tells Chachi that she thinks the game's over. Chachi is isolated, the mayor ignores her, and neither is Jyoti gone, nor is Vikrant any better off. She advises Chachi to single mindedly devote herself to Vikrant's success. Once he is seated, it will be easier to kick Jyoti & Kabir out.
RP's advisor tells him that the party is weak in Alwar. RP tells him not to worry, and that Kabir will do his magic there as well. If he does the needful, RP will become CM. His phone rings, and he's pissed, since it's chachi. He goes to another room to talk, but Kabir follows him there.
Chachi accuses him of breaking his promises. Not only did he retain Jyoti & Kabir, he was supposed to promote Vikrant in politics, but instead, he's started politics in his own house 😆 and broken all his promises. He tells her he hasn't forgotten it, and that he'll talk later, but Chachi tells him that it's his last warning, and it'll take her only 2 minutes to bring him down several notches if he didn't get rid of Jyoti. He tells her he will.
Kabir asks him what she said, and he tells him that she was worried about him & Jyoti, and doesn't think about anything but Jyoti. Kabir asks to clarify, and RP tells him that she is concerned that these 2 haven't had their honeymoon. RP then suggests to Kabir that since he's going to Alwar, take Jyoti w/ him, and not only do his work, but have a honeymoon as well (strange choice for a honeymoon) Kabir tries to decline, but RP overrules him, thinking that Chachi has something cooking for Jyoti.
Kabir & Jyoti arrive in Alwar, and are greeted by party officials, amid all the Kunwar-sa cheers. They then go to a garden where they have some time to themselves. He asks Jyoti what she's thinking, and she's thinking she's going around w/ Kunwar-sa, and has lost her Kabir-ji. Kabir tells her that this is her chance to get him back, or else, if Kunwar-sa arrived, she'd not get her hubby 😆
Nearby, Vikrant & Rags are sitting, and Rags gets off the phone. Vikrant asks him why is he so excited, and he says that Reshmi id'd her hubby in a photo, and is in this town. She's now within their grasp. Vikrant now thinks that nobody can come b/w him & Reshmi. Kabir & Jyoti are walking together, not far from there.
I was surprised Kabir didn't have any Janmasthami celebrations, given that he's a Krishna devotee. Other than that, this was good - it's nice to see things loosen a bit in the haveli.
So RP is eyeing the CM's seat, which will leave the Jodhpur mayor's seat vacant, which Chachi wants for Vikrant. This makes things somewhat clearer. That would probably split the family, moving RP & his clan to Jaipur, while Vikrant would, if this works, take over in Jodhpur. That's chachi's wish.
I've never seen nor heard of anybody naming their daughter Manthara, so I wonder whether Chachi-sa named her as such. Nonetheless, she's appropriately named. Giving chachi ideas. I'm just surprised that the mayor agrees to her suggestions, instead of coming out w/ a plan to off her. After all, Jyoti is not a threat to him. But Harmukhi very much is. Is this mayor such an idiot that he doesn't see it?
The last time Reshmi was seen, she was 7 months pregnant. Since then, some months have passed. She's now due. So how does she go to Alwar, even if she knows where he is? And didn't she decide not to pursue him for Jyoti's sake? So what's she doing here, and how does a girl w/ her means get there in her present condition? Hope that Kabir overhears him, since he is nearby, and totally busts Vikrant.
