Ek ajab prem ki gajab kahani, na hi ajab rahi aur na hi gazab - sirf ajeeb o gareeb ban ke reh gayi!
Why are Indian soaps so nonsensical? When it started out, DMG was different, so it caught everyone's attention, but now? Its an episodic sit-tragedy which probably deserves an Emmy for the most confused & convoluted storyline!
For a serial titled Dill Mill Gaye, there are hardly ant dill that mill gaye, lol! Chalo that's still understandable, otherwise how do they drag a serial for 3 years? But where's the story? And more importantly where's the "ajab" louve?
An actress who played Ridhima is brought back as Shilpa just so that she can romance the heart broken Devdaas, eow! How weird is that?
She suddenly is a sister to her old character, and weeps over her photgraph with her sister, sister's mother and sister's step father when the stepfather was married to someone else? Ouch! No wonder Smiriti ran away from Shashank :-)
Till now the dad was an honourable & kind man (albiet a hystercal father) but suddenly he's this virile specimen who is either siring children and abandoning them or adopting someone else's! ;-(
The heroine burns with jealousy on seeing her erstwhile lover tango with another girl, and then cutely romances with her current husband declaring undying love & desire to play Ringa Ringa Roses around the fire, when moments ago she was burning with a diff fire! Huh?
The hero has morphed from an emotionally scarred yet strong human being to a morose Devadaas whose practicing calligraphy with his own blood. Moments ago he had a sugar rush about the new woman in his life but now he's back to art classes experimenting with blood! Eew!
The other hero oscillates between a petulant kid, and understanding and unbelievably dense adult, tho to be fair, his character has been butchered the least and perhaps a tad understandable...
They play Rock, Paper Scissors to see who can destroy whom? And the heroine is like the proverbial yo-yo. Now you see her here and now you see her there! Lol!
And the final twist? From an ARS traingle, possibilities of another ARS triangle! Sach much, ek ajab prem ki gajab kahani!
