I think maybe Kat's parents were NEVER married - hence she has the surname of her mom - and more likely -- it seems to me that her father didn't recognize her LEGALLY...

Kaif sounds more eastern and it's less long than Turquotte -- and the double KK sounds like a brand itself - it's rumoured to bring luck to actors/actors to have a name+surname which start with a similar letter - I guess that's why she chose that surname...

Turquotte sounds ridiculous in my language (french)...it sounds like cocotte popotte turquoise...rubbish sound...

And unlike what some may think - I find she talked wayy too much about how her father left her family..it was becoming embarrassing.... I guess it did hurt her...

her dad doesn't look like indian.....but tell me who looks indian? Because I don't see any ressemblances between Johnny lever - SRK - Preity Zinta - Jaya Bachchan - Aish - Gauri Khan - A.R Rehman - Shreya Goshal - Siaf Ali Khan - Anushka Sharma... in terms of ethnicity.....and they're all indians....

I don't know if her father is half kashmiri or a full one...but yes he does look quite caucasian....

There are eastern people who look like caucasian too..

Some of her siblings look different so I have a feeling her siblings may have a different father which is fine and perfectly normal in Western countries to have siblings from different fathers and different mothers.

Okay even if she is not Indian whats the big deal. No where in the Indian constitution does it say that a foreigner cannot come and work in India.

Regarding her changing her last name , When actors like Akshay and others change there names nobody raises any objection and no hoopla is created. But why is it different when a girl does that. We still live in a very biased society.

Just realised Katrina does not have to worry about her retirement plans. Once she is done with her tenure in Bollywood she can write a biography of her Memoirs. She can mint money with her best seller.
