the show does start wid fantastic issues bt then the problem is wid the execution..the whole track goes haywire after sum time..esp like the saintness conversion of brij..and jyoti being shuffled btwn being a self respecting person and a doormat..what is the point of touching upon sensitive issues and then finally ending up making a spoof out of it??
Some of the episodes brought up good potential solutions as laid out by Sarika & Ritu, particularly Sarika. I would have preferred Sushma's baby being adopted by Sarika & her hubby, & Brij dying unsung, instead of Kabir intervening and ending up in Sushma re-marrying that jerk. Similarly, Ritu raised a good issue of women raising children themselves, and a logical conclusion to that might have been Jyoti giving her baby away to Pankaj (like Swara plans to to Aditya in Swarvagun Sampan) and then marrying Kabir, instead of getting it stolen from her in an accident.
And if the show is, through Jyoti, trying to send a message that it's wrong for an adult male to live away from his family (e.g. Uday, Kabir), then this show has it bass ackwards. Such a message would make it a retrograde show, rather than one inspiring societal reform.
