Judges VS Public Voting in srgmp

I have watched srgm from 199...5 till the time challenge2005 started.........and then i started watching again around the time paresh got out........so i missed out all the initial stages......

My question is this: did hemachandra and nihira do well when the judges were judging the show and did they start coming in the bottom 3 when public voting started? or did they start coming in the bottom 3 even when judges were doing the selection?

My reason for this question is: If the first is the case, then I don't know if the public/audience has the ear for good music....i know music is very subjective - what is good for one might not be good for another!! But in a competition such as this for talent hunt...it makes a lot of difference.........

So, if this show is truly a talent hunt and a stage for upcoming talent....then judging by musicians should be used and not public voting!!!
