hey guys!

Wanted to know what you think of Mishal's look in LTL? Did you find any resemblance of his look with anyone in particular or a movie?

I could find a lot of similarities about his look with tht of Amitabh in Sarkar/some similarities mr.older thackeray! and his dailogue delivery that of slow n composed tone ( Marlon Brando in Godfather!) and his eyes (oh my!!! 😍)...they are the best ways he can express!!

Whatever it is, he is fitting the role to the T!! n must says right casting the creative team chose!!! LTL rocks coz of Mishal!!!

hey Jyo in one of his interviews mishal did say that he had studied quite a few past movies and shows based on gangster life and mafia and tried to get inspiration frm them..but at the same time has tried to remain original...he is a gr8 actor!

i don't know how many of u watch pakistani dramas here but a yr back there was a drama aired called 'tair-e-laoti' which had fahad mustafa playing the role of a gangster called pasha..he had a similar look like mishal dutta's and he was awesome...i think the drama bacame a huge succcess mostly because of fahad..all the females fell in love with his character (like we have with dutta) and we all were heartbroken when his pasha was killed in the end...just hope dutta doesn't meet with the same end..😭

Thanks Tahera for the update! yep totatlly agree Mishal is a fab actor.loved him from his 'love story ' days'. But nvr expected this kind of intense acting. he is doing a great job as Dutta! hope he wins awards for this role! 😊

i think his look is very much like that of SANJAY DUTT from the movie VAASTAV..the dressing style, the bracelet..gold chain etc....though i have not watched the movie but have seen one song..and that reminded me of dutta

@nazia - yeah to some extent the dressing does look like Sanjay dutt in vaastav. but i felt it was lil loud ( too much of gold ) in Vaastav whereas Dutta's is a subtle yet serious look n definitinely not over the top or loud at all!

but i think taire lahotti's look and concept is bluntly copied by Pearl grey's pratigya.. Krishna's look is somewhat similar to that of pasha..And pasha's look was no where near to dutta's .. i mean pasha used to wear kajal.. bracelets, jeans and kurtas ... dutta yeh sab kahan pehnta hai ???

and the gal was similar to pratigya .. and here nakusha is already heads over heels in love with Dutta.. so i think there is no comparison at all..

and abt mishal treating us...i sure hope he does read through these comments atleast even if he doesnt take us fr a treat😊. n my if he ever did that(take us fr a treat), I would definitely faint!!!!!😆

Hey Jyo...welcome to the forum! To me Dutta's character seems to be inspired by several real life benevolent dons like Bal Thackeray and Haji Mastan. Dutta's gestures in public are a lot like Balasaheb.

Coming to his look I have never seen a similar look in any character. I think its very unique. I guess the way MR expresses himself he has taken inspiration from Hollywood movies so we might find a similarity there.
