He is tall and fair and isn't bad looking. It's just that his role requires him to look a certain way with his expressions and tone. I agree he is talented, I think his best scene so far was in the hospital when Baba was sick. He hasn't gotten much chance to display other traits, he is basically a villain so it's hard to judge how much range he has.
