I dont believe any of the bakwas Krishna said today. Seen through the lens of reason, it is understandable why he said it though. The way he justified saving her life because he would have saved anyone, and how he was blinded by love to eat her cooking, was all a load of rubbish.
First of all, the guy was in a daze and totally shellshocked walking down the road. He turned around when he heard Chandu and Tunna yell "bhabhima" at a distance, then when he saw her fall, he rushed over to see what was wrong.
And then when they were in the hospital room, he not only reached for her hand to get her to stay, but he told her to go rest. And lastly, he gazed into her eyes when she fed him, broke the gaze when Shakti came, and then went back to gazing at her!
Krishna accepting her fawning over him, eating her food and pretending to be happy for Arushi would have been nice but unrealistic. We are talking about a man who hates deception, and now he is reacting to his own pain. He wants her to understand what she did was wrong, and words can't do justice to the kind of anguish he is feeling. I would rather have him throw the soup on the ground and show his true feeling than pretend to like her. He isn't out of love with her. He is just testing her, does she feel guilty? Or does she love him. Because love withstands all and if she does love him truly, she will see through his pain and bitterness and not remotely resent it.
One thing more, anyone who thinks he is being unfair is missing the point. Did we forget how Amma turned her face away from Prats and insulted her right in front of him? And how quickly he jumped to his wife's defense? It doesn't mean he isn't mad at her, but he isn't going to allow any misbehavior either. Even if Krishna mistreats her, he will NOT do it in front of other people. Because he wants everyone to know how much he loves his wife. And yes, I am using the word love.
We aren't far away from SR, but it's not coming as soon as we would like. ;))
