Hellooo My lovely frns,
We seem to have had a shanak feast this week, and each episode trying to outdo the previous one .
on Friday we saw the culmination of the weeks build up with Shantanu finally admitting his feelings.It has been one helluva journey for the city brat who has now finally decided to be responsible..as if it was possible for him !! we have been watching his progression towards his realization in fascination[ with this burthal, one can never be sure what he is going to come up with] and heaved a sigh a of relief when he correctly deduced his feelings..!!
But my enchantment doesn't rest there ..I am equally captivated with our jewel's trek towards the end point .... the delicious irony is that the smitten lass herself is unaware of the bug that has bitten but is prescribing treatment for the burthal !!😊
Khanak began this trip with a firm resolution that Suraj and Suraj alone will be her companion for eternity and Shantanu's cold and indifferent attitude only strengthened her resolve ...but Season's change ..change began to blow in their direction as well ...and like the grass of Savannah...the two phools merrily succumbed to the change's while stubbornly fixated to what they thought were their real and true love !! they swayed and teetered in this change firmly resisting any thoughts of being attracted to one another.....Such temptation !! dearies , can destiny ever resist it ??No!!
she saw these two angels bamboozling each other with "Friendship, Friendship " and decided to take a hand ...she brought them closer by sending them out on a travel .. and Khanak in her uninhibited state realized she did have some feelings for him and also despite the 5 months drama ..she longed to stay with him for ever ...this was the first peek we got into her subconscious and realization dawned on us that this girl has gotten over her rage and angst has subsided and she was ready to begin a new life ..
but sobriety returned, she returned to her previous state almost but not entirely ..she had accepted him as her friend and protector.. now that she became frnds ...she became much more comfortable, interactions increased..both began to share their views , she began to get used o his presence, she began to let down her guard ...and time for next level ..when he caught her hand , she was shocked and upset at his proximity..she just snatched her hands away ...her discomfort clearly visible on he face...she would not meet his eyes ... Gradually with the ceaseless bonding, this discomfort too vanished ...she was marching steadily, when the next big jolt occurred ..during the Love tutition ..He hugged her !! Heavens were delighted ...Khanak was stunned ..her first and initial reaction were panic , A girl who was untouched ,who thought all her desires were burnt in that pyre was stunned to realize that the fire burned inside her .. The hug is not only intimate but lights a spark in her heart ....she slowly succumbs to her femininity , to her hearts desire ..but alas ! That hug was reserved for some one ...when this is brought home to her..How she writhes in pain !! she is struck by a momentary guilt for yearning and longing for that hug ....she looks on confused !!
Days pass !! another occasion presents itself...her hubby wants confirmation ..and when he spontaneously hugs her ...she is confused and does not hug him back but does not pull back either ...she is puzzled by his action but does not find the hug unpleasant ...slowly the HUG changes its hue..from a comfort hug , it turns into a hug between a man and woman ...and immediately her feminine rears up its head and acknowledges THIS hug .... she RETURNS the hug and both are lost ....after an eternity when both became aware of their action's..they let go ..and very interestingly..Khanak does not feel Guilty nor is she uncomfortable a few moments of unsureness ...but never a moment of doubt .....
What a journey it has been for Khanak ...from a doomed life to point of acquiescence of being in love, acceptance of her destiny and a decision to begin life afresh !!
The flower has began to unfurl its petals ...When will it bloom ??
