Uska bhi Dil Toota Magar
Kisi ko nahiin iski khabar
At the end of today's episode , the face that really got to me was Shilpa's face. Yeah, I salute Sid's maturity and heroism , I understand Riddz' emotional state , I do try to comprehend Armaan even though my hands itch to spank him on his self destruction spree, but today , the person I feel for the most is Shilpa Malhotra.
As Armaan plays ping-pong with Shilpa , as Sid stays a peripheral friend to Shilpa, and as our dear dear Mrs.Riddhima Siddhanth Modi who leaves no chance to hurt her , humiliate her or bash her (which of course is a perception and positioning problem because Riddz catches Shilpz always in the wrong situation at a wrong time) ….i just look at Shilpa. SR , no matter how much they suffer always have each-other to run to , Armaan , no matter how much he wants to believe that he has no one , he always has Siddhanth-Riddhima looking out for him , protecting him every step of the way…. But what about Shilpa? Whom does she have? Nobody. Who does she open her heart to? Nobody. Who is there to wipe her tears? Nobody. Is there anyone who takes her in arms , pats her head and tells her tenderly that everything is going to be okay? NO.
Everybody treats her like a punching bag – scream at her , hurt her , and tell her all that you can to wound her ….but she says nothing. Rarely her tears leave her eyes and nobody sees what she suffers. Today , there was so much of heartbreak for her – so much pain and suffering – Riddz once again unleashed her chudailpanaa on her without even listening to her. And Shilpa breaking all over again. Armaan has done enough already to hurt her , blowing hot and cold and consciously or unconsciously playing with her heart.
The precap only indicates more pain for her – the revelation of heartbreaker Armaan as the mysterious man who made her believe in love. Sometimes, I just look at her and wonder for how long will she stay The Unbreakable. How much can she take? Is fate testing her disguised as Armaan? She cries all alone….but her wails reach no one…..
As for the rest , let's take them individually:
Riddhima : To hell with Riddzie's Mommykins Complex, but she had no right to hurt Shilpa like that and even worse question her childhood and upbringing. No matter what her first impression , what her situational mood, nobody has the right to behave like that with someone YOU BARELY KNOW. That apart , I did feel bad for her when Armaan blamed her for his state , blamed her for giving her life and heart a second chance with Sid . Riddhima's heart that fills up with Sid recoils in a dark corner when this guilt sword is raised on her neck. Riddz doesn't need to be questioned over Sid.. once Sid was on the rink, Riddhima's whole focus was Sid , even though she could see that he was actually beating up the opponent , her eyes stayed on him with " SID". At that time, Armaan was a concern and Sid , the focus.
Siddhanth : Siddhanth is surely made up of some other unique stuff… so much of beauty that it is too much to gather….It is difficult to believe that men like him exist. He has always been THE MAN OF THE MOMENT. He has always risen to the occasion – always a HERO- always an exemplary man in mind, heart , body , spirit. And that is why it is no surprise that a broken near-death woman like Riddhima could fall in love with him. Today , not even once did Sid question Riddz . She spoke to him in frantic worry and like always , he rose to the occasion. The moment , he came to the rink , his focus , his concern was Armaan. He fought for Armaan and I loved how he stopped the challenger from punching Armaan – Sid did not save Armaan out of duty… he saved him out of feeling. And I cannot refrain from saying… If you cannot love Siddhanth , you are incapable and too emotionally challenged to love your fellow humanity.
Armaan : I , for one , have always loved Armaan for his intrinsic goodness , his compassionate nature and his guileless nature. But at the same time, I know there is a side to Armaan when not only the audience , not only his loved ones but Armaan himself stops identifying with himself. And that is his tendency to venture into SELF-DESTRUCTION. Armaan has always been emotionally unstable, mostly owing to his childhood and younger years when he had nothing to fall back on. And people who have had no emotional backbone are usually what Armaan is. Vulnerable. Self-destructive. Insecure . Lonely. I will not say much except that Armaan needs IMMEDIATE HEALING. He needs to rise from this dungeon or else he will drown everyone with himself. Look at Shilpa. Armaan's bitterness and oscillating behaviour has caused her so much pain within a few days. And why blame Riddhima for daring to live , love and hope again ? Why try to dislike Sid when you actually love him? It is almost as though Armaan is seeking excuses to justify his self-destruction which is actually his own choice. I am not blinded by my love for the character- what is wrong , is wrong. Simple. The two things that redeemed Armaan for me today were Armaan's strong defence of Shilpa against Riddhima Modi . Secondly, am glad he told her to stop interfering on his life. Armaan needs support , not baby-sitting.
P.S- The last frame was symbolic in so many ways. Riddhima and Shilpa were standing together. Armaan started walking towards both of them. Riddhima slowly walked away in the direction that Sid had gone a few minutes ago. Shilpa kept standing there and Armaan came and stood next to Shilpa. Think it over…………
Love and luck always to everyone,❤️
GOD bless everyone. 🤗
