How come Dev does not know....

This is troubling me a lot.

I think Maan always did most of his work from home. Even dadi said so when she hired Geet to be Maans secretary at home. And Sasha said so also at the beginning of the show.
So Dev kind of went for office. And Naintara also wanted him to go to office and take care of the business. And he probably knows about the office at the outhouse but he just didnt feel the need to check it out because well he knows that maan works there. And since he reports at the office, why would he go to the outhouse also?
