Ali Zafar signs Yash Raj film

Yesterday, this newspaper reported that the lead actor of Tere Bin Laden, Ali Zafar, is considering moving to Mumbai. Well, now we know why.

The Pakistani actor has a new fan in Aditya Chopra and was recently signed on by Yash Raj Films for their next film, which will be directed by Ali Abbas Zafar (yes, the name coincidentally is quite similar!).

Apparently, Ritesh Deshmukh was initially approached for the same role but he declined the offer. Apart from Ali in one of the lead roles, the untitled YRF film stars Imran Khan and Katrina Kaif as well. Clearly, Ritesh's loss is Ali's gain.

Our source said, "Aditya Chopra loved Tere Bin Laden. YRF is known to spot talented newcomers. They are also giving director Ali Abbas Zafar his first break in this film. And as far as the actor Ali Zafar is concerned, the production house may sign him for at least three films."

So, Ali's future looks bright. When contacted, the official spokesperson of Yash Raj Films confirmed the news and said, "Ali Zafar has been confirmed for a leading part in the movie along with Imran and Katrina."

Aditya Chopra Signs Ali Zafar Alongside Imran Khan And Katrina Kaif

Pakistani actor Ali Zafar of Tere Bin Laden fame has been signed by Yash Raj Films for its next untitled movie. With this, the actor has got an opportunity to act alongside two young and popular Indian actors Imran Khan and Katrina Kaif.

Aditya Chopra was very impressed with his acting talent and thus offered him the role. Recently, there was a report of Ali considering shifting to Mumbai to make a career here. The concerned movie will be directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, a name which is very similar to the actor.

However, Ali is lucky to get this role because he was not the first choice for the role. Bollywood actor Ritesh Deshmukh was offered the role initially, who declined to do so, thus paving the way for Ali Zafar.

A source was quoted saying that Tere Bin Laden was loved by Aditya Chopra and he was impressed by Ali too. Ali Zafar is likely to be signed for at least three films by the reputed production house of India. YRF has been known for giving opportunity to the newcomers and this time the lucky fellow is Ali.The news was confirmed by the official spokesperson of Yash Raj Films.

Cannot wait for this one, as Ali zafar can act. I just hope he has an important role..Let see how Imran and Katrina will be in their roles and most importantly in their performances

Ali Zafar to feature in YRF's Imran - Katrina starrer

After his impressive debut in Tere Bin Laden, Pakistani sensation Ali Zafar is suddenly hot and happening in Bollywood. The actor has caught the fancy of none other than Aditya Chopra who has signed him for one of YRF's forthcoming projects.

The film in question is the Imran Khan- Katrina Kaif romantic comedy to be directed by Ali Abbas Zafar. The film goes on floors in mid-September. Confirming this news, YRF's spokesperson says, "Yes...Ali Zafar has been confirmed for a leading part in the movie starring Imran and Katrina. We are also in the process of finalising a girl opposite him."

Having bagged a project with YRF so early in his career, Ali Zafar must surely be feeling on top of the world. The future certainly seems bright for this 'Good Looking Ullu Da Pattha'.

I remember when his song Channo came out all of ma classmates including me used to fight over him...😆😆😆
