Knowing how Krishna's family and how he felt about betrayal by a woman, it shows how far he will have come when he saves Prats' life. First he puts a gun to her head in the privacy of his room, then he puts it to his, and soon he will risk everything to save hers. This is how much he loves her, to the extent that he can't imagine living without her. And yes, Pratigya has tested that love by her confession, but he will never turn his back on her.

The truth is he never did turn his back on her. Even after he slapped her he regretted and went back to bring her home. Most of the notanki has always come from her for whatever her reasons plus the influence from her family with the constant put downs which never gave her a chance to give her marriage a try. As he said to her he loved her and all he does for her will be for seven janam maybe even an eight one and he'll still find her. He like Komal has always tried to put the past behind and move forward in making his marriage work. The problem has always been with the Saxsena siblings who have a big problem with moving forward in their lives. It's always something or the other to hang their hats on and stay in pareshaan mode. Maybe now Prats will learn a thing or two about living in the moment from Krishna once they clear the air between them.
