I know I have mentioned Madonna before in some posts about sex and nudity. But, I still think she got away with so much in her time. She was so popular in international music and crossed so many barriers. When you see Bollywood do sex lyrics or anything controversial, it is not original of course. But, look at the photo down below. 🤬 It is a picture of Madonna from her classic video "Vogue." Now, I know some people have seen this before. But, this was all the way back in 1990, way before Bollywood's sex evolution. I bet noone would dare to pose like this. Madonna did not even have a bra on and exposed her breasts without having a care in the world. MTV almost banned the video and Madonna refused to edit it. They still played it regardless. I don't think even a Deepika, Vidya, Kangana, Aish, Sushmita, or any Bollywood actress would dare to do what Madonna did. What do you think? Be the judge. I don't think the picture is that revealing. Madonna was 32 in this video. She looked good in this time and still has maintained her figure/sex appeal at age 52.

why is there a constant comparison to hollywood???its frankly annoying and there is no need to be bold just for the heck of it.madonna's appeal lied in the fact that she flaunted her sexuality to the hilt.thats unique to her. why should anyone try to imitate her?and honestly,there is no need for such poses here.period.

I wouldn't have the respect for that bollywood woman who tries to do this, actually for any woman. Haven't we already seen disasters bollywood trying to walk in hollywood's steps? Hollywood is hollywood, bollywood shud be like bollywood...they both shud maintain individual identity. Just my POV :)

Why WOULD htey wanna pose like htat? Or for that matter, why woudl we WANT them to immitate someone else? Whatever happened to originality?

well....bollywood women CAN pose like tht...for proof, watch zeenat amaan in satyam sivam sundaram or dimple kapadia in sagar or even bipasha in a recent add with vivek oberoi. These women went semi nude aswell, and that too during the 70's and 80's....stirring up quite a controversy and attracting a large segment of male audience in the process.

I personally, dunt see the need for contemporary bollywood actors to pose in such a manner. It would do more harm than good as the audience tends to get judgmental about women in suggestive attire/poses, which is why it is avoided in mainstream bollywood cinema. Its a sad fact.
