@bold: 🤣 Talk about being MEGA DELUSIONAL😆😆.....Seriously these ppl need to grow a brain first and look at their PATHETIC marketing skills as compared to all the other channels on TV....when Star One is a million times better than them at promoting, they should pause and reflect atleast 1%.....the only thing they know how to promote is CID.....do they think THAT will make them the "top channel in 2 years?"🤣

To quote from the article:
Then why is it that even after bringing in young and differentiated content with the YRF shows and some other new ones too, the initiative did not do much well for the channel?
When we launched YRF, Seven and Mahi Way did fairly well. But all of them were not up to the expectations that the market wanted. However, when we went for it we actually knew that the content is ahead of its time in comparison to current television in terms of narrative as well as treatment. So we were the early adopters and the ratings did not come in the first season. But we have learnt that they will work if we be at it for some time and bring back new seasons.

Also, another learning for us is that we shouldn't launch multiple properties together. Which is why this time we will bring back the shows one by one so that the audiences can grow on them.

When do you plan to bring back the new YRF shows?
We will be launching two new shows from the YRF stable by the end of this year and the new seasons of two more properties will be launched next year. Apart from these, we will also be launching two other fiction properties by the year-end.
I don't really believe him about bringing back two shows....cuz if they intended to launch them by next year then by now they would have intimated the writers of the shows....which doesn't seem to be the case at all....so I think this is all empty talk.....they're probably busy planning their next round of out of date promotions for their retarded set of soaps and whatever reality show currently suits their fancy.

I've never seen a channel SO clueless about how to promote it's shows....SO out of date with it's promotions that they will air old promos for MONTHS while the actual storyline of a show is something else...and yes this even includes their so called 'minting TRPs' reality shows....wonder what kind of special 'market surveys and research' they are doing that makes them fail to realize the FUNDAMENTAL logic of how to promote a show.

Yay!😛.....Would love to see Mahi Way and Rishta.com back!!!!😛.....And i can say with some confidence that season 2 may work better than season 1 in terms of TRPs because now most of the people know about YRF shows and so they will be eager to watch it's season-2 ,since now they know what the show is basically about.😊
And ya, Sony has a lot of potential. Infact i guess currently Sony shows the best quality of shows.....just that, i guess, Sony TV doesn't believe in 'PROMOTION'.🤔
