Amma began her day doing a con-job on her badi bahu. She attempted to convince Kesar that she was not Prat's enemy. Amma don't take Kesar for a fool bec' she doesn't say much.š She explained there was no need for Prats's uncalled talk in Guruma's presence.True! Kesar offered to help Prats in the kitchen but concerned she may foil their plans for Prats, Amma told her to rest as she was pregnant. Now you remember she has a bun in the oven. Amma? Grrr! š”Kesar sweetly reminded Amma she had banned Prats from the kitchen. What a smooth naak-katwana, good going Kesar! Amma said Prats just had to ask forgiveness and Prats could cook a meal for the family. They remember Kesar's pregnancy when it fits in with their agenda. Besharmees.š
Tunna Chandu walked into the Niwas and told Katra Naresh that their bhabhima had called them and they were there to help her in her search for Krishna as he had been gone for two days. KN said the family was alive and well to find Krishna and didn't need their help. The two stooges walked away quietly. Why weren't they franctically looking for their bhaiyya on their own? Does Krishna have a history of taking off like this before and they just knew he'd return in time?š² Or did they also know Krishna had gone to film Azaad Live?š
Prats was relieved to see Kesar didi in her room. She told Kesar she was concerned for Krishna and needed to go and find him. Kesar assured her that Krishna would return in time and all will be well but until then they needed to do what they had to. She told Prats the best way to get into their sasural's good side would be to cook them a good meal and Amma may even let her go and search for Krishna. Kesar you are so naive girl! BTW, why are the Takurs so nonchalant about Baba's disappearance? Does Baba take off on his own once too often to unwind and recharge?š² Prats told Kesar all the family had to do was ask her to cook instead of all these harkatheins. Ok Prats, ab E bathao did you ever use the same logic when it came to dealing with your pati Parameshwar, esp. in recent situations that has caused all this upheaval in your life? Reflect just a little and you will learn a lot more about yourself, young lady!šš²
There was tension in the air as Amma and Katra Naresh were all set to go ahead with their vicous plan to burn Prats alive. KN handed over the catalyst, a box of matches and instructed Amma on her deplorable role in this plan. Amma and KN take their rightful places when right on cue, thanks to divine intervention, Komaliya entered the house with her pati Parameshwar Adarsh in tow to the astonishment of the Takurs present there. She addressed Prats as bhabhi and inquired her Amma if she was working her bahus like a horse or gave them some respite. Guilt written all over her face and bitten by the green-eyed monster, Amma asked Komal how come she showed so much concern for her bhabhi when her Amma was present. Wah, Komaliya, E hui na bath, you get right to the point, dontcha? What else do you need to tell your Amma? Keep going, girl, we are all ears. Katra Naresh always focused on his deplorable plans signaled Amma to halt her actions. He distracted Komal by reminding her that her daadi, Amma and badi bhabhi were also at home for her to meet besides Prats. Btw, Where was Ganti Dadi today? Amma and Katra Naresh are cut from the same cloth, vicious to their core.
Amma switched gears in a heartbeat and played doting Amma to her Komaliya. si Komal had accepted Prats as her bhabhi so Adarsh was now accepted as 100% damadh of the Takurs and he should touch her feet and get her blessings. What logic is this? Watch out Adarsh! Sasuma ka dil achchi nahi hai. Prats, as usual, did the unexpected and offered to go into the kitchen to cook the meal. The Takur duo didn't want Prats to find out about their condemnable plan. Katra Naresh, temporarily playing man of the manor ordered Kesar to get Prats out of his sight. Komal had other plans. She offered to make chai and told KN to stop bossing the bahus of the house around. Keep going Komal! You are doing great! Amma desperately tried to stop Komal from going to the kitchen lest she found the evidence of her plans for Prats in plain sight. She offered to make Komal's favorite foods herself but Komal overruled her and went to the kitchen.
Komal saw the evidence of her Amma and badae bhai's plans right before her eyes. Channeling Angela Lansbury from Murder, she wrote she smelled the gasoline on the floormat and took in the other evidences placed in clear sight and came to the right conclusion about their sinister plans for Krishna's wife. Like Krishna Baba, Komal was on to the criminal plot for Prats and determined to foil their plans. Smart girl, Komal, keep up the good work! At the rate your family is going ahead with their criminal plans with Krishna feeling down and out right now it's up to you to step up to the plate and foil their plans at every turn. No one can give the Takurs a reality check and a rude awakening at the moment like you do.
Komal returned from the kitchen, the chai forgotten as there were more serious matters to handle at the moment. She reminded Adarsh he had errands to run and since her sasural were concerned he should take Prats with him. KN told Komal, Prats couldn't go anywhere. Adarsh observed mouna vrath and watched silently as Komal took charge of the situation. She warned her mother and Katra Naresh to give up on their premeditated plans for Prats in the family kitchen. Wasn't Prats curious to know what Komal was talking about enough to take a peek into the kitchen for just a moment, or is it reserved to matters of her maike only? Amma and KN looked red in the face when Komal reminded them she was on to their sinister plans. KN intervened again to stop Prats from leaving but Amma bent on covering her tracks decided to let Prats go with her brother, knowing she still had Komal to deal with at the moment.
Prats told Adarsh she was concerned for about Krishna's state of mind after he had left home two days ago and that she needed to go in search of him. Adarsh ensured her Krishna would return soon and he would accompany her in her search for Krishna but they would go home first as Mummy and Papa were waiting to see her.Oh,there we go again, back to the maike bhajan! Get over it Prats, focus on Krishna's disappearance first. Your Mummy Papa aren't going anywhere.š
Komal clued her Amma and Katra Naresh that she was going to foil their plans for Prats. She defended Prats and called them maha paapies for planning a bahu barbacue. She reminded them that even the meat they ate was first killed before they were cooked. Wow! Komal still continues to use food as a destressor especially in the most serious situations.šš She warned them both that if they went ahead with their plans she would tell everyone the truth and will even testify in court against them. Guess the recent trial has given Komal some good pointers on handling matters with the Takurs the legal way.š Amma was livid at Komal to turn evidence against her mother but it didn't work. Yay!š Komal reminded her Amma and KN that she was someone's bahu and would they enjoy watching her being burned alive?
SS walked into the house just in the nick of time. Wow! It took just one example of reasoning from Adarsh to take Komal's logical and reflective thinking into high gear. This girl is brilliant like her bro Krishna, imagine if they had both been given an education.
Preview: SS grabbed KN by the collar and gave him a tongue lashing then turned to Amma gave her a thappad for wanting to burn Krishna's wife. Maybe there is a conscience in this buzurg after all, at least for now or so it seems.
P.S.: First day with no sight of the green house at Mumfordgunj or Shamu and family. Adarsh was seen but rarely heard. Komal was queen for the day and reigned supreme. She was at her logical best, the conscience to the vile Takurs who actually managed to look ashamed for a change. KN never learns, not much to contribute in the brains department to aide him. Two days down three to go before the week is over. Alright!
