Armaan and riddhima settled in car, riddhima's very excited where as armaan's just kept on smiling seeing riddhima's smile, they reached hospital, riddhima for the first time jumped out of car with happiness in front of hospital else this happiness can be noticed on her face but at the time of returning back to home and since last month that too vanished from her face, sister lovely who's standing on door looked at riddhima, then stopped one nurse

and asked "ye dr. riddhima hi haina, kahi meri aankhein kgaraab to nahi ho gayi, hayee ji abhi to meri shaadi bhi nahi hui", but when nurse comfirmed her that she's dr. riddhima, she looked towards wall and mumbled "ye suraj kaha se nikla hai aaj, har roj jinn dr. riddhima ka muh itna bada hua hota hai jaise kissi ne unhe maar kar bheja ho hospital aaj wo muskura rahi hai, kaise ji??? Par jobhi ho, riddhima ji bahut pyari lagti hai jab muskurati hai"..

Soon she saw riddhima helping armaan to get down from car and came towards hospital,riddhima smiled and with excitement said "good morning sister lovely, kaisi ho????", sister lovely first kept on looking her with amazed eyes, then looked at armaan, while riddhima chatted with other nurses and signed register, sister lovely asked armaan "ohh ji armaanji aap yaha hospital mai, aapka check up hai aaj ya phir koi problem..",

riddhima turned and said "problem kyu hogi bhalla?? He's fit, he's fine, he's healthy like always…", she moved to him and hugged him from back, "aaj se ye har roj hospital aaya karienge, aur haan ye armaanji nahi, dr. armaanji hai, samjhi sister lovely", she raised her eyes to which sister lovely smiled with nervousness and nodded "haanji wohi ji wohi", riddhima looked at armaan and smiled once again, then kisses him on his head and moved forward..

With in no time everyone came to know about armaan's coming to hospital, meanwhile riddhima took armaan in neurology section in his cabin.. armaan looked around thoroughly and remembered how he used to treat his patients, how he used to encourage their familt members, riddhima holds armaan's hands and smiled assuringly, armaan remembered some of their lovely moments and he took aarish in his arms and mumbled "aapko yaad hai aapki mumma kaise khaana khaate hue nakhra kiya karti thi, jab wo bhi yahi par apne patients ka treatment karti thi", aarish chuckled and tried to stand up

holding his shoulder, not paying any attention to his father's talk..

R: armaan aarish ka uss waqt birth nahi hua tha..

A: to kya hua, yaha se dekhta tha na.. (he slightly caressed her tummy and then kisses it and placed his head on it, riddhima first deeply shivered with his touch but then controlling her emotions she placed her hand on his head, aarish too asked her to pick him up in her arms, she smiled and shaked her head "apne daeda se bhi jayda possessive hai, kaise sambhalungi 2-2 armaan ko..", then hugged both of them, in between riddhima's pager started ringing..)

R: I think OT is ready, armaan tum yaha apne cabin mai hi wait karna, mai tumhe surgery ke baad milti hun…

A: riddhima.. (she turned) mai iss cabin mai nahi rahunga.. (riddhima looked him and mumbled "par") please you promised me.. (and before riddhima could say a word, ankit entered in cabin, as he's expecting no one in cabin, he threw his files and lab coat without looking above, lab coat fell on armaan's face)

R: (as an instant) ye kya batmeeji hai dr. ankit singhania.. (he looked up) aapko manners…. Oops sorry, ye mai kya bol rahi hun, M for manners to aapne kabhi seekhe hi nahi, to kissi aur ke cabin mai ghuskar kaise behave karna hai ye kaha se aayega…

Ak: ohh I'm sorry dr. riddhima, maine aapko dekha nahi..

R: kaise dekhoge aankhon ki jagah bhagwan ne buttons jo laga ke bheja hai..

Ak: ji aapne kuch kaha???

R: mere paas itna waqt nahi hai dr. ankit ki mai tum jaise insaan par waste kar sakun.. (she removed lab coat from armaan's faceand threw it on floor and ankit was shocked to see him)

Ak: tum??? (with shock)

R: aap.. (ankit looked her questionably) tum nahi aap dr. ankit.. kissi bhi renowned doctor ko aap kehkar bulate hai…

Ak: (straightening his facial expressions and making a slight disgusted face and then forwarding his hands to armaan) hello dr. armaan, nice to see you..

A: (shaking hands) waise lag to nahi raha ki aap nice feel kar rahein hai but phir bhi aapke words ki kadar karte hue, nice to see you too..

Ak: aap yaha??? I mean kuch problem thi to aap mujhe ya dr. rahul ko inform kar sakte the..

A: nahi wo actually..

R: actually inhe koi problem nahi hai, ye auron ki problems dur karne aaye hai.. I mean ye waapis sanjeevani join kar rahein hai..

Ak: (with open mouth) jeeeeeeeee??????

R: jii.. kyu aapko acha nahi laga ye jaan kar?? After all aap to dr. armaan ke talent ki itni kaddar karte hai..

Ak: acha to bahut laga, par ye iss haalat mai, I mean..

R: kyu kya hua inki haalat ko, ache hai, dedication hai inke kaam mai, koi bhi case lenge to usse solve karke hi chodenge, I hope iss se jayda ek doctor mai aur koi qualities nahi dhundi jaati..

Ak: par ye aise wheel chair par..

R: kyu wheel chair ne check up karna hai??? Check-up to dr. armaan ke haatho aur mind ne hi karna hai na and for sure uski kami unme hai nahi, ye mujhe bolne ki jarurat nahi hai, hum sab hi inki history jaante hai… nahi dr. ankit???

ankit smiled a bitwith slight nervousness, he'd hardly expected this, riddhima enjoyed the look on ankit's face and armaan's just looking at riddhima, thinking how much she's prepared to answer everyone, she didn't let him speak for once, nor he wanted to speak as he could see how much pleasure riddhima's getting in answering him, she's surely on 9^th cloud today,

her feet's not coming back to earth, armaan's feeling very great seeing the glow of riddhima's face, her cheeks were red out of happiness, she's feeling very proud today and her words, her smile and her eyes were the biggest proof, somewhere unknowingly his heart's thinking " kitni ajeeb baat hai usse bas mere saath se hi proud feel hone lagta hai, wo proud feel karti hai kyunki mai uske saath hun,

jaisa bhi hun bas mai uske saath hun, usse meri har cheez mai positivity kaise najar aati hai, usse kabhi khayal hi nahi aata hoga na ki mujhe… mai paralysed hun, kabhi ek pal ke liye bhi nahi, agar aata bhi hoga to wo bhi tab jab wo mujhse interact karti hai, taaki uski koi baat ka mujhe bura na lag jaye, baaki uske liye mai normal hun,

bilkul normal, bas uska armaan hun, kahi koi gila nahi, kahi koi shikwa nahi, bas aankhon mai chamak hai ki mai uske saath hun… kaise wo mujhse itna pyar karti hai, kyu kabhi bhi mujhe uska pyar kam hota dikhayi hi nahi deta, kyu har roj aisa mehsus hota hai ki wo kal se jayda aaj mujhe pyar karti hai, kabhi mauka mila to jarur puchunga uss se, he kept on looking at riddhima with all the love…

R: waise dr. ankit aap dr. armaan ke cabin mai kya kar rahein hai???

Ak: wo actually mera cabin under construction hai, to 2-3 months ke liye mujhe yahin shift hone ke liye kaha hai, kyunki dr. armaan to abhi aate nahi.

R: par ab to aayenge, to aap.. (but before she could complete)

A: its ok riddhima, hum iss baare mai baad mai baat karte hai, tum jao jaldi, OT tumhari wait kar raha hai.. (riddhima bites her tongue)

R: okk armaan mai tumhe baad mai milti hun, agar phir se page aa gaya na dr. keerti meri watt laga dengi, mai bhaagti hun jaldi… (she rushed towards door and again came back, she's in a much hurry that didn't realize that ankit's still there, she hugged armaan tightly) wish me good luck..(armaan smiled and kisses on her forehead, she closed her eyes for few seconds, lil lost) ab se mujhe tumhari best wishes lene ka apne paas ehsaas rakhne ke liye apna sindoor chumne ki jarurat nahi pada karegi, ab to tum har roj hi mujhe wish kar diya karoge…

she smiled thinking this and then kissing aarish she ran and other interns

entered in, saying "armaan bhaiya", niki-rohit too entered in, all bombarded him with lots of questions, from armaan's face smile's not going even for a second, he kept on looking them with a sweet smile, niki slightly hit him and shouted in his ears..

Ni: hum kya tujhe circus ke joker najar aa rahein hai jo hassi jaa raah hai, (armaan smiled more)ab muskurata hi rahega ya kuch bolega bhi..

A: surely bolunga, par ye to bata do bolna kya hai???

Ni:jo hum puch rahein hai uska jawab kyat ere chachajee denge??

A: nahi de to mai hi dunga jawab, par agar insaano ki tarah ek ek karke questions puchoge to kuch sunai dega aur tabhi mai kuch jawaab de paunga, ab agar jaanwaro ki tarah ek saath sab hi attack kar doge to mai kisse sambhalunga, bas baithkar tamasha hi dekhunga na…(he laughed and niki again hit him, He told everyone that he'll be coming daily to hospital, everyone got excited)

Ve: ohh tabhi subah se bhabhi ka chehra phulon sa khila hua hai..

So: haan nahi to har roj itna bada sa muhh lekar aati thi, hasna to jaise aata hi na ho unhe, par jab wo ghar jaati thi tab unka chehra khilta tha, logo ka chehra subah khila hota hai aur sham tak murjha jaata hai par yaha ulta tha.. aapko pata hai bhaiya won a 3 months mai sirf 2 baar canteen gayi hai, can you imagine, itna miss karti thi wo aapko..

Ri: abe ohh raajdhaani express ab thoda break bhi le le, saara din khachar-2 karti rehti hai… (all laughed and sonal made a face, with noise aarish waked up and started wailing, everyone started taking him, armaan asked them to take him one by one, soon aarish freshened up and mixed up with everyoneand kept on chuckling.. ankit's standing at back making faces as today niki and rohit too was busy in armaan and aarish that they forgot to pay any attention to him, all took him to cafeteria, as soon as they entered in)

Rajni: aaiye sir, agar pata hota aaj aap aa rahein hai to cafeteria ke gate par red ribbon bandh kar rakhte aapke swaagat ke liye, aapke bina seriously ye cafeteria adhuri adhuri si lagti thi.. (armaan smiled and they entered in, they chatted about 2-3 hours, and on other side after operating, riddhima quickly rushed out with excitement, first she goes in armaan's cabin, there ankit was coming out after checking 1 patient and she bumped into him as she forgot to apply break (hee hee)

R: ohh I'm so sorry, wo armaan, I mean mujhe armaan…. Shitt… I'm sorry, maine dekha nahi, armaan andar haina… (and she without waiting entered in cabin but found him missing, then quickly rushed out and again ran like a storm and from 4^th floor to 1^st floor she checked every floor thoroughly then finally entered in cafeteria and shouted) armaan… (all started looking at her, she started looking down with embarrassment and started slowly slowly moving to armaan, armaan smiled and shaked his head, vedic got up from chair and placed it near armaan, riddhima shyly settled next to him and caressed aarish who's busy in having his bottle, armaan holds her hand, she looked him)

A: congrats hug nahi chahiye???? ( riddhima's like "yaha sabke saamne??") dekh to aise rahi jaise tumhe bahut farak padta hai sabse.. (riddhima showed him eyes and got up saying "mai kuch order karke aati hun", but armaan holds her hand and pulled her so that she straightway landed in his lap) waise to hamesha kehti ho "I miss you, aur mere saath time bitana chahti ho" par ab jab time mila hai to bahana banakar dur hona chahti ho..(he hugged her tightly and everyone looked at them, riddhima blushed but hugged him back and kissed on his temple and mumbled "I love you")

Lunch break started,rahul- muskaan entered in cafeteria, they heard noise and shaked their headsthinking "ye interns bhi na..", but then smiled thinking about their own days, they ordered food and settled on chairs when heard some baby wails as aarish started crying, they turned and looked at baby, riddhima got up and took aarish from swati mumbling "bas mera baby, acha ab mumma ke pash rehna bass, hum kissi ke paas nahi jayenge, bash mumma aur daeda ke paas rahenge, sab gandu hai, sabki katti,

mere pyare se baby ko rula diya", everyone's smiling hearing their convo, but aarish didn't stopped crying, armaan took aarish from her and as usual he hugged his daeda and crying hiding himself in his shoulder, armaan patted him and mumbled "bass baby, aise thodi na rote hai, to kya hua agar aapki bui ne daant bhi diya jara sa, payr bhi to wohi kar rahi hain na subah se, challo ab jaldi se smile karke dikhao, tu to mera champ hai, super champ, aur champs rote thodi na hai", he twisted back when heard "armaan…" and in front of him rahul-muskaan were standing with surprise…

A: ohh hello dr. rahul..

Ra: hello, kaise ho armaan??? (armaan nodded, in between seeing rahul aarish started smiling and opened his arms to him, rahul slightly caressed him and asked armaan if there'a any problem and when he told him aboyt his plan)

Mu: (with wide smile) sach ab tu har roj hospital aayega????(AR looked quiet surprised, armaan nodded and opened her arms to take aarish as he's chuckling seeing them, she's talking babyishly to aarish, but before she could take aarish, riddhima took him from armaan and left from canteen saying "aarish ko bhuk lagi hogi armaan, mai abhi aati hun", armaan followed riddhima, where as muskaan's hurt again and rahul handled her

Armaan holds riddhima's hand, she turned with tears and settled on floor, placed her head in his lap and mumbled "armaan mai muskaan-rahul ko kabhi maaf nahi kar paungi, 14^th august ka mujhe har pal yaad hai, yaad hai kitni nafrat thi unke faces par, yaad hai kitni kadwahat thi unke words mai, yaad hai kitna dard diya tha unhone tumhe, tumhar har aansun yaad hai, yaad hai unhone hamari iss nanhi si jaan ke baare mai kya bola tha, mai kabhi unhe maaf kar hi nahi paungi armaan, kabhi nahi", armaan hugged her and caressed her hair and nodded…

A: (for lightening atmosphere) ab apne ye aansun ponch lo, warna sabko lagega ki ek hi din mai tumhe itna pareshan karke rula hi diya, tumhare bte ne to mujhe hitler ka guru bana hi rakha hai, ab please tum bhi aise rokar mujhe award hi mat dilwa dena, meri reputation ka thoda bahut to khyal rakho… (riddhima hit him, then smiled and cleared her tears on his jeans) haan dekha haste hue kitni achi lagti ho, jaruri hai aansun nikal kar itna darawana roop banane ki???

(riddhima again hit him this time with irritation, armaan smiled and hugged her, in between aarish started crying when gained no attention from his parents, and both started smiling and hugged him, on other side, rahul-muskaan who's crossing the corridor in which AR's sitting heard their convo about them, muskaan cleared her tears as she reminded last year's janamashtmi and mumbled

" rahul tu sahi kehta hai, maaf karna itna aasaan nahi hai, humne galti nahi gunaah kiya hai aur ab uski saja to leni hi padegi wobhi haste haste, unhone to koi galti ke bina bhi saja li thi aur kabhi complaint bhi nahi ki aur hum to gunaah karke bhi saja se bachna chahte hai, itna selfish hona achi baat nahi haina", rahul hugged her, she said "mai hamesha unhe miss karti rahungi, aur wait bhi karti rahungi ki kab wo mujhe maaf karenge, par khushi ke saath, jab galti karte waqt dukh nahi hua to saja lete hue dukh kaisa??", rahul smiled and rubbed her arms…

On other side, when armaan-riddhima turned to go, from AIDS ward atul's coming out, seeing AR he stopped and smiled and almost screamed with happiness "armaan mere bhai tu yaha", everyone started looking at him, AR too looked at him, lots of emotions crossed through armaan's face when heard "armaan mere bhai", atul came running to armaan and settled on his knees..

At: kaisa hai tu??? Holi ke baad tujhe aaj dekha hai, pata hai mai tujhe kitna miss karta tha, mera jo plant tujhe bahut pyar karta tha wo bhi tere gam mai murjhane laga hai, tu bata tu kaisa hai?? Teri legs kaisi hai??? Koi problem to nahi hai??? Mai na ek din trinsy ko tujhse milwake laane ki soch raha tha, par mujhe tera naya waala address nahi pata tha…(like this he kept on saying without looking at AR, like he's speaking after ages, AR looked at each other as he's reacting as if nothing happened in between them, as if their relation never changed, AR looked at atul from top to bottom, he lost so much of weight, his color's also looking dark, in short he's looking very dull, both felt bad in heart for him..

A: cha(he stopped himself) dr. at.. dr. atul.. (atul looked at them, riddhima placed her hand on armaan's shoulder and shaked her head with teary eyes as if asking him to not be harsh with him)

At: kya hua armaan?? Tu chup kyu ho gaya??? Bata na kaisa hai tu???

A: (with lil smile) mai theek hun, tum batao kaise ho???

At: tujhe dekh liya, apne bhai ko dekh liya, bas ab bahut acha ho gaya hun, warna tere bina mai acha nahi tha… (AR smiled, atul looked at aarish) tujhe pata hai tera beta tujhpe gaya hai bilkul, nahi eyes aur nose ridzie jaisi hai baaki wo tujhpe gaya hai, nahi actually uske cheeks bhi ridzie jaise hai rosy red jaise, aur lips bhi..

A: (with irritation) abe sab kuch agar riddhima pe gaya hai to mujhpe kya gaya hai??

At: tu gussa kyu hota hai, ab waise pura dekho to tere jaise lagta hai par jab akela akela part dekho to ridzie jaisa lagta hai… (armaan shaked his head and like always joined his hands)

A: bhai rahem kar mujhpe, teri baatein sununga to mai apne bte ko lekar hi confuse ho jaunga… (Riddhima giggled and aarish too chuckled seeing his mumma giggling)

At: lao na ridzie mujhe bhi do na isse, mai bhi khillaunga… (riddhima looked at armaan with confusion, but when he nodded)

R: (forwarding aarish to atul) rishu jao atul un (before she could complete)

At: aaja apne chachu ke paas baby aaja.. (he took aarish and threw him in air, to which he chuckled loudly)

A: (with surprise) chachu??

At: haan tu mera bhai hai aur tere bache ka to mai chachu hi lagunga na.. tubhi kitna bhola hai armaan, kuch bhi nahi pata tujhe…(armaan imitated him, then looked at riddhima who's smiling)

A: riddhima…

R: (as if knew what he gonna speak) armaan pata hai har roj mujhe atul ki ek jhalak dikh jaati hai, par uske chehre par kabhi smile nahi dekhi, locker room se apna lab coat lene ke baad wo subah AIDS ward mai enter karta hai aur raat ko bahar nikalta hai, maine usse kabhi lunch karte nahi dekha, kissi se baat karte hue nahi dekha, aaj usse baat karta dekh, usse muskurata dekh bahut acha lag raha hai… he loves you armaan (armaan smiled and both looked at atul who's playing with aarish and laughing loudly as he's pulling his hair and then wore his sthetoscope..)

A: aaj bhi bilkul innocent aur chotta sa bacha hai atul, nilkul plain paper ki tarah, usspar jo bhi likhna chahoge likh sakte ho…

R: haan, aaj aur 6 years pehle waale atul mai koi bhi badlaav nahi aaya..

A: accept ki inn 6 years mai uske dil mai bahut dard bhar gaya hai, agar hum uske muskurane ki wajah ban sakte hai to iss se acha aur kuch nahi ho sakta, ye hamari jhutti self-respect aur ego hogi ki hum past ke liye usse aaj saja de, iss haal mai usse akela chodkar, usse abhi kissi ke saath ki jarurat hai, to hum hi ban jaate hai wo saath, gussa karne ke liye puri life hai, but usse sambhalne ke liye yahi waqt hai…

R: kaash dr. anjali samajh paati ki unhone kiss diamond ko kho diya hai, but I'm sure she'll regret for her decision, sachayi kaun chuppa sakta hai jayda dino tak, ek din to unhe sach ko face karna hi hoga.. (atul came rushing to AR)

At: maine rishu se deal kar li hai, ye bhi bada hokar apne chachu ke tarah doctor hi banega, haina rishu??? (rishu looked at atul and started clapping) dekhaaa.. (atul's pager started ringing, he mumbled "shit" and then handled aarish to armaan) baaki ki doctori kal sikhenge, okk rishu??? (he again smiled) acha apne chachu ko bye to kar de.. (he brought his head near aarish, to which he licked his cheeks slightly, atul smiled and kisses on his lil head and rushedsaying) mai apne plants ko bhi milwane launga apne rishu se, wo iss se milkar bahut khush honge…

A: dal badlu, abhi keh raha tha mujhse milwane layega aur minute mai apna decision badal bhi liya…(he smiled, don't know whether they forgave atul from their hearts or they're just trying to bring smile on atul's face, but for sure they wanted atul to remain happy forever in his life as they somewhere knew that atul follows anjali blindly, and he could never go against her wishes, so what he did was basically done under anjali's influence but their heart always questions them "if he's a kid who doesn't know what is right or wrong from him", but anyways for now they wanted to help him..)

Their day came to an end like this, everyone's surprised that armaan came back to hospital, as dr. shashank was out of town for 2 weeks, therefore riddhima asked dr. keerti..

R: dr. keerti koi problem to nahi hogi na agar armaan apni practice phir se resume karna chahe to??

Ke: I hope not, but dr. armaan patients ko treat karne ke liye fully ready hai ya nahi, iske liye unhe 1 month ke liye kissi ke under kaam karna padega.. (riddhima made a worried face) riddhima ye patient ki health and life ka sawaal hai, I know ki armaan bahut capable hai aur wo apni capability har mod par dikha chukka hai, par accident ke baad ye jaan na jaruri hai ki kahi ye accident aur paralysis unke uppar haawi to nahi ho gaya, riddhima unki practice bhi neurology mai aur har roj koi na koi paralysis ka case aata hi hai

aur agar uss waqt armaan patient ka treatment karte waqt apne andar hi ghum ho gaye to problem ho jayegi, hum patients ki life se to nahi khel sakte na, unka confidence level check karna jaruri hai, abhi aap ek wife ki tarah nahi ek jimmedaar doctor ki tarah sochiye, hum unki capability par shak nahi kar rahe par koi bhi risk nahi le sakte, hospital ka reputation ka bhi sawwal hai, aur bas 1 month ki hi baat hai, aur agar wo starting se hi ache rahe to may be 1 month ka time period reduce ho jaye, mai koshish karungi ki mai hi unka incharge le lun, bas iss se jayda mai koi help nahi kar sakti..

R: (holds her hand) thanku so much dr. keerti, mai aapki har baat samajhti hun and you are right, hospital mai wo sirf dr. armaan hai, mere husband nahi, aur waise bhi mujhe apne armaan par pura vishwas hai, wo iss baat ko samjhega bhi aur iss khara bhi uttrega iss test mai..

Ke: (smiled) yess, armaan will surely succeed.. to kab se join karne ka iraada hai unka..

R: bahut jaldi dr. keerti.. abhi to wo mana kar rahe hai, but I'm sure wo har roj hospital aayenge to unka mind bahut jaldi ban jayega…

Ke : aur aarish ko kaha chodogi duty hours mai??? Ghar par maid..

R: nahi dr. keerti aarish maid ke paas kabhi nahi rahega, armaan aur maine pehle hi decide kiya tha ki ya to hum me se koi hamesha uske paas rahega ya phir wo hamare saath aayega, par maid ke paas aarish ko kabhi nahi chodenge..

Ke: par hospital environment mai ek chotte se bache ki growth.. I mean yaha tarah tarah ke patients aate hai..

R: I know dr. keerti, filhaal to armaan jab tak proper practice nahi start kar lete tab tak aarish unke paas hi rahega aur uske baad hum dono ko apna time aur cases manage karke aarish ke paas rehna padega, not in hospital, armaan plan kar rahe the ki hum hospital ke paas ek room le lenge, taaki hum aarish ka proper dhyan rakh sakein aur hospital ke environment se aarish dur rahe… baaki dekhte hai… (dr. keerti smiled, riddhima left from there)

kaha gaya armaan tumhara vishwas, har mod par tum mujhe samajhkar chalte the, tumhara pyar hi to tha jo mujhe hamesha taakat banker mere saath challa, phir kyu mujhse sab cheen liya armaan.. kyu???? It has been 2 days since armaan started going to hospital, everyone looked happy seeing them or may be AR's excitement was so much that they failed to notice anything in anyone's eyes, it's 3^rd day in sanjeevani, riddhima's checking one of her patient, when one lady in middles of 50 entered in with one guy and one 5 months pregnant woman, riddhima smiled when looked at them and asked them to settle down, riddhima after giving medication to her patient, she called the trio that were waiting for her, they settled next to her..

R: Namaste auntyji.. (looking at girl) aap parso hi to apni beti ka check-up karwa kar gayi thi, aur sab theek tha,new medication theek hai??

Lady: haan bitiya, wo dawayi bilkul theek hai aur tumhari wajah se ab meri beti bilkul theek hai…

R: to phir kaise aana hua??

Lady: ye mera beta hai rohan..microsoft company ka CEO.. (riddhima looked him and nodded as a greeting) kaisa laga mera beta tumhe???

R: (with surprise) jiii????

Lady: wo hum log yaha se gujjar rahe the to socha tumse milwati hui challun

Lady: haan bitiya, wo mai… (before she could say anything, riddhima smiled widely while looking at door, all turned and found a child coming in room, crawling with a laugh, in his hands one cellphone's there and at his back one guy on wheel chair's coming mumbling "aarish ruk, yaha ni jaana baby, aao waapis, but he kept on going, riddhima opened her arms mumbling "aaja baby" and he with chuckle jumped in her arms, riddhimacaressed him and kisses him) kitna pyara bacha hai… (before riddhima could thank her) to tumhe bacho bhi bahut pyare lagte hai, bilkul aisi hi ladki ho jaise mai apne bte ke liye dhund rahi hun… (riddhima looked at armaan and surprised, he came near her)

A: dr. riddhima aapne bataya nahi ki aap apne liye ladka dekh rahi hai..

R: (showed him eyes) shut up armaan…

Lady: ye kaun hai dr. riddhima??? (before riddhima could answer) ye shayad iss baby ka nanny hai.. (seeing toys in his hands, riddhima tried to butt in, but armaan with eyes said take a chill pill, armaan took aarish from her hands and was moving out but stopped when heard) aisi haalat mai aur koi kaam bhi to nahi kar sakta bechara, waise ek chotte se bache ka dhyan bhi nahi rakh paata hoga ye, aajkal ke bache hote bahut shararti hai, unke piche har pal koi na koi bhaagne waala chahiye aur ye to khud hi mohtaj hai,

kaise sambhalega iss bache ko agar kabhi jarurat padi to, chal nahi pata bhagega kaise, bache ke mata-pita ko sochna chahiye tha isse nanny rakhne se pehle, isse job dekar isspar to daya kar di par apne bache ki jaan khatre mai daal di… (and before she could say more, riddhima who's shocked and looking at armaan,stood up in anger) kya hua bitiya??? (and riddhima on the verge of saying, but aarish opened his arms thinking she's coming to him and started saying mum… mum.. Mumm….) mumm???

R: ye mera beta aarish, shayad aap bahar name plate padna bhul gayi mrs. Sabarwaal, my name is mrs. Riddhimarmaan malik, aur inse miliye (pointing to armaan) mere husband and neuro section ke incharge dr. armaan malik.. kissi ke baare mai kuch bhi bolne se pehle puri baat jaan liya kariye, aur kissi ko wo kaisa dikhta hai inn basis par judge karne ki jagah wo kya hai aur kya kar sakta hai inn basis par judge karo to jayda acha hoga.. (her son and daughter got up)

Rohan: we're so sorry dr. riddhima, we didn't mean to hurt you, so sorry hume nahi pata tha ki ye aapke husband hai..

R: chahe koi aur bhi hote, tab bhi aapko kissi ne hak nahi diya ki kissi ke baare mai bina jaane pehchane uske baare mai bolein, aap jaante hi kya hai inke baare mai aur itna kuch keh gaye…

A: riddhimaa…

R: no armaan, I mean wo mere baare mai jaane bina apne bte ka rishta le aayi wo bhi hospital mai aur bina jaane kuch bhi keh gayi, mai kaise bardash kar lun wo mere husband ki mere hi saamne itna ajeeb bol rahi hai, tumhe jaanti hi kitna hai… (in between aarish started crying when saw her mother shouting, riddhima quickly goes to him and took him, patted him with love) shorry baby, mumma bhul hi gayi ki unka pyara sha chotta sa beta bhi iss room mai, mumma kaan pakdegi, mumma ko maaf kar do.. (she hold her one ear, aarish lightly slapped on her cheeks and smiled)

okk ab to happy na,mumma ki bhupp kar di, challo mumma ko paalbhi kar do, mumma ko uui ho gayi na… (aarish nodded as if understood, she forwarded her cheeks which aarish licked for a second and started smiling, trio turned to go, lady again looked at riddhima with little hurt and lil sorry face for armaan's legs, she felt pity on her which's noticed by armaan, riddhima didn't pay much attention accept asking her patient to take care, then made a lil face, armaan holds her hand and asked her to forget about it as they and their words don't lie anywhere in their life, so why she's getting affected, but her mood's lil off, so armaan ordered ice-cream for her to lighten her mood..)

R: kaise ajeeb ajeeb log hote hai, ek married ka rishta.. hey bhagwan lagta hai logo ko dikhna band ho gaya hai..

A: logo ka koi kasoor nahi hai, ab jab ladki din pe din khubsurat hoti jaye to logo ka kya kasoor hai.. (riddhima smiled and hit him)

R: armaann…. Par I's seriously shocked, unhe mera mangalsutra aurmaang ka sindoor najar nahi aaya…kal se to mai itna bada sindoor ka teeka laga kar aaya karungi ki bindi lagane ki jarurat bhi nahi padegi.. (armaan giggled and gave her a side hug…)

A: kuch nahi hota riddhima, itni badi baat nahi hai, unhe pehle nahi pata tha par ab to pata haina kitum married ho aur ek nanny ki patni ho… (he laughed but riddhima felt bad and got up)

R: shut up armaan… (saying so she moved out in anger, armaan shaked his head and smiled fakely… riddhima settled in corridor, thinking about nothing, looking in space, she came in present when heard armaan's name..)

Sister tara: sister roma aapne dr. riddhima ko kahi dekha hai kya??? Dr. Armaan unhe dhund rahein hai..

Sister roma: nahi sister, maine unhe kahi nahi dekha..

S.T: pata nahi kaha challi gayi hai dr. riddhima, ab mai dr. armaan ko kya jawab dun??

S.R: to unke paas jao hi mat, thoda time dr. riddhima ko bhi break lene do unse, thak jaati hongi saara din hospital aur paralysed pati ko sambhalte sambhalte, unhe bhi thoda waqt chahiye hoga apne liye…

S.T: ye tum kya keh rahi ho roma??

S.R: kyu kuch galat kaha kya??? Dr. riddhima ke baare mai koi nahi sochta, bechari dr. riddhima, kismat ne unke saath kaisa khel khella, jab jindagi ke sabse ache pal jeene ka time aaya to unhe tohfe mai paralysed husband mila..

S.T: hmm tum theek keh rahi ho roma, abhi bechari ki umar hi kya hai, dekha hi kya hai unhone jindagi mai, ek bacha hai saath mai, kaise karengi sab manage akele… dr. armaan se to ab koi umeed ki nahi jaa sakti, wo khud ko to sambhal nahi paate, apne biwi aur bache ko kya sambhalenge, itni kam umar mai kitne bade dukh de diye bhagwan ne uss bechari ko, are mere saamne hi pali badi hui hai, dr. shashank ne unhe kya naajo se paala tha aur kya pata tha ki aage jaakar unka jeewan kaanto se bhar jayega…

Riddhima got up from her bench in anger, thinking to scold them but as soon as she turned, she found armaan there who's looking lil in daze, she thought "kahi armaan ne to nahi sun liya sab, agar sunn liya hoga kaise sambhalegi wo armaan ko, wo kahi tut na jaaye", but..

A: tum yaha ho riddhima… ohh mai bhi kitna stupid hun, obviously gusse mai tum yaha par hi aati ho mostly aur mai pata nahi tumhe kaha kaha dhund raha tha, pata hona chahiye thana ki meri riddhima kabhi badal hi nahi sakti

R: (quickly rushed to him and hugged him) tumhari riddhima kabhi badal bhi nahi sakti armaan, chahe saari duniya badal jaaye, par tumhari riddhima bas tumhari rahegi… (she let the tear come out from her eyes which was the result of her mixed emotions, she hugged armaan more tightly)

A: hey angel kyaa huaa??? (riddhima shaked her head) abhi tak naaraj ho mujhse???(she again shaked her head)

R: tumse naaraj hokar kaha jaungi armaan..

A: hmm I know, tumhara gussa bhi tumhare pyar ka ek roop hai, jab tum pyar se pyar nahi dikha paati to apna pyar dikhane ke liye gussa karti ho… (riddhima smiled and again hugged him, armaan cleared her tears) riddhima mujhe ni pata tha ki mere alava tumhare paas aur kuch bhi sochne ka time hai… (riddhima looked him confusingly) aur kya, ek mai hun jo tumhare baare mai hi har pal sochta hun, aur tum ho jo mere baare mai bilkul sochti hi nahi..

R: acha ye aapko kisne keh diya??

A: mere dil ne…

R: ji aap apne dil ko keh dijiye ki usko kuch galat fehmi ho gayi hai, aapka khyal to hamare dil se kabhi jaata hi nahi…

A: ji dil kabhi jhoot nahi bolte, dimag beshak jhoot bol le… aur agar aap sirf aur sirf mere baare mai sochti hai to ye aankho mai nami kaisi hai?? Tum mujhse to naaaraj nahi ho, phir ye name kiske liye??? Iska matlab tum kissi aur ki baat par dhyan dekar ro rahi thi…dekha jhuti.. pakdi gayi na chori..(he slightly hit her on arm, riddhima kept on looking him, amused) jab bhi free ho na sirf mere baare mai socha karo,

auron ke baare mai jiutna sochogi utna pareshan hogi, jitna auron ki baatein sunogi utna dimag kharab hoga aur gussa aayega, aur utne hi pal tum mujhe khud se dur karogi kyunki auron ko sabak sikhane ka plan banane mai busy ho jaogi, aur jab aur logo ke baatein sun ne ke itne side effects hai to kyu suno kissi bhi 3^rd person ki baat, sirf mere baare mai aur apne bte ke baare mai socho aur hamesha khush raho, kyu apni khushiyo mai auro ko lekar aati ho,

kyu logo ko show karna chahti ho ki unki baato ka tumpar kitna effect hota hai, aur unhe gusse se reply karke karke kyu ye sochne ka mauka dena chahti ho ki wo kahin na kahin sach bol rahe hai logo ka kaam hota hai bolna aur agar hum sabki baatein sunenge to pareshan rahenge hamesha aur kabhi waqt hi nahi milega ek dusre ke liye, phir hum dur bhi ho sakte hai, kya tum aisa chahti ho???(riddhima kept on looking him) kya hua??(she again shaked her head, but looking him with amazed eyes) challein lunch break bhi over hone waala hai aur hamare chun-mun ke neend se uthne ka time ho raha hai… (he turned)

R: armaan, (he stopped) thankuu.. (he turned back) pata nahi har baar tum ye kaise karte ho, pata nahi har baar tum kaise mere bole bina hi mere har negative khayal ko mujhse cheen lete ho, mai to kabhi tumhe bata bhi nahi paati theek se ki mai pareshan hun, abhi mai khud se lad hi rahi hoti hun, reason jaan hi rahi hoti hun apni pareshani ka par uss se pehle hi tum mujhse mere sochne ki wajah hi cheen lete ho… kaise karte ho???

A: well mai apne secrets kissi ke saath share nahi karna chahta…(riddhima frowned, armaan smiled) challooo, baad mai muhh banana…(riddhima goes, armaan stopped feeling a bit relieved that riddhima's smiling now, then he reminded sister roma and sister tara's conversation which he'd listened, but acted as if he didn't heard anything as he didn't want riddhima to be more down, he smiled fakely and left as riddhima called him)

And from that day, this thing became common, though no one in hospital says directly on AR's face but at the back of them they surely talks about Armaan's illness and somehow their talk always reaches to AR, specially armaan, some feels pity on riddhima and lil one feels pity on armaan..

Some says "bechari dr. riddhima, kahi bhi unhe relax nahi milta, yaha patients peecha nahi chodte aur ghar par bimaar pati, bhagwan armaanji ko aisi bimari dene ki jagah utha hi lete, wo bhi iss bekaar jindagi se mukt ho jaate aur riddhima ji bhi free ho jaati, 27 saal mai to ladkiyan shaadi karti hai aur hamari riddhimaji ke jeewan mai itna bada hadsa ho gaya, wo sirf naam ke liye armaan ji se bandhan mai bandhi rahengi hamesha..

armaanji unhe koi khushi nahi de paayenge kyunki koi bhi ab unhe theek nahi kar sakta, wo jindagi bhar aise hi rahenge, kaash bhagwan ne unhe aisi jindagi di hi na hoti, phir riddhimaji bhi har bandhan se aajad thi aur apni nayi jindagi ke baare mai soch sakti thi, bechari ki ab kya life ho gayi hai, koi maja nahi raha, sirf aur sirf gam hai unki life mai…

like this everyone mutters whenever they used to see AR together, everyone feels pity, armaan finds it hard to see those eyes, so he tries to avoid everyone except for greetings, where as riddhima always gets angry, she want to reply everyone but the thought "ki wo kiss kiss ka muh band karwayegi aur unka muh hai, unki feelings wo kaise badal sakti hai sab kuch" always stops her from saying anything to anyone..

and always thought " mai tum logo ko kabhi kuch nahi bolungi, kyunki ek din armaan ki life hi tumhe jawab degi, aur aisa jawaab degi jiske baad tum armaan ki to kya kissi ki jindagi par bhi taras khaana chod doge aur ye samajh jaoge ki har insaan chahe jaiisa bhi ho par wo special hota hai apne liye aur apno ke liye", armaan with in few days get to know that his reports were back from US too and they could do nothing,

thanks to talks of people which lil shattered him from inside,he's hoping for positive response from them coz no doubt deep down in heart he wants to stand on his own, he wants to run, he wants to make his baby learn how to walk but all his dreams and hopes broke him, that night he's not able to sleep, he kept on thinking whole night and then looked at riddhima, who's sleeping peacefully in his arms, her forehead tightens when he detangled his arms from her,

it's clearly visible that she's not feeling peaceful, atlast armaan covered her protectively, pulling her more close he saw her getting more and more relax rather than getting disturbed or hurt, he smiled and kisses her on forehead and kept on playing this game till he fell asleep, next day for the first time unknowingly he goes in neurology section, in general ward and met some of his patients which were still there from last 7 months, all welcomed him whole heartedly,

he reminded how he used to treat his patients, he checked their case history, one or two patients still following his medication from past 6 months and he's surprised but patients told him that his medication suited them, he chatted with them lil more, his mind's in dilemma, he reminded riddhima's words when she's trying to encourage him for work and them reminded his reports were back,

that means he can't hope for getting better soon and he thought "kya mai saari umar yunhi ghar par baitha rahunga, kya maine medical line iss tarah waste karne ke liye choose kiya tha, riddhima theek kehti hai ki patients ko treat mind aur haatho se kiya jaata hai naaki legs se, to kyu apne mind ko yun waste karna, agar ye mind kissi ki jindagi sawarne ke kaam aa jaaye to kya burai hai, atleast practice karna is far better than staying idle and thinking about illness all the time, I've opportunity so I should grab it else 1 day I'll regret",

he remained in dilemma and entered in riddhima's cabin who's checking her last patient.. she smiled and said with eyes "5 minutes only", armaan nodded and goes out, soon she came with aarish in her arms, who's playing with his lil toy, mumbling in his own language, armaan took aarish from her arms as he started jumping in her arms seeing his daeda..

R: armaan tum subah se kaha the??

A: wo mai bas bahar tha… kyu pucha???

R: ab rishu ko tumhari itni aadat pad gayi hai ki mere paas to ye tik hi nahi raha tha, baar baar iski najar door ki taraf jaati ki kahi tum to nahi ho, pata hai ye meri table ke niche baitha tha, ek dum crawl karke bahar aaya jab iss ne "Bandar" suna, par tum nahi the, to mujhe dekha aur rone laga, saamne patient baithi thi aur ye chup hi nahi ho raha tha, phir mai tumhe dhundne gayi par tum nahi mile, and finally ye shaitan bacha "aalu ki tikki" khaakar chup hua.. (armaan giggled and looked at aarish, he blushed and hugged him, armaan looked at riddhima who's making a puppy face)

A: kya hua??

R: mujhe jealousy ho rahi hai, ab mere alava koi aur bhi hai jo tumhare bina nahi reh sakta… (armaan laughed)

A: achaaaa… riddhima basket malik itni possessive hai, apne bache se hi jealousy..

R: nahi jealousy rishu se nahi hai, iss baat se hai ki wo tumhare bina 1-1 pal bechain rehta hai, jaise ki mai… (armaan giggled at her innocent confession, he pulled her in a hug) ab tum meri special waali jagah ko divide kar doge na, rishu bhi to haina, matlab ab mai kam special ho jaungi tumhare liye… (armaan laughed at her innocence)

A: you know what?? Right now I'm feeling that I'm having 2 kids.. (riddhima pouted, armaan again took her in hug.. riddhima smiled and asked "lunch break ho gaya hai, cafeteria challein??") riddhima aaj hum inner room mai baithkar lunch kar sakte hai, cafeteria jaane ka mann nahi kar raha…

R: okk jaan, waise bhi parso rishu ka b'day hai, discuss bhi kar lete hai.. (they ordered lunch and both settled on couch) armaan hum invitations kal de denge sabko, parso to hum leave le rahein hai aur tumne cake order kar diya thana??? aaj hamari jayda duties nahi hai to jaldi chalte hai aur ghar aaj hi decorate karna shuru karte hai…(she kept on saying and after few minutes she realized that armaan's not speaking, she looked him who's looking lost somewhere) armaannn.. (she shaked him, armaan came in present)

A: haan wo cake ka order kar diya tha and don't take much tension, dekhna rishu ka b'day sbse acha jayega.. (he smiled)

R: I know, rishu ke daeda jobhi karenge bahut acha kareinge… (he again smiled) and ab daeda rishu ki mumma ko batayenge ki wo kya soch rahe the and don't try to lie with me ki its nothing important and no if and no buts, straightway on main topic… come on now speak up..

A: (smiled in heart thinking that's why I call her teacher, saara din hokum jhadti rehti hai, but I love her for this) don't know what… actually confused totally.. I mean about my life, about my future… kuch samajh nahi aa raha ki life kaise jeeni chahiye.. iss gam mai ki ab mai kabhi chal nahi sakta, har taraf se darwaje band ho chukke hai ya phir nayi shurwat ke saath jeena chahiye aur accept karna chahiye apni bimari ko pure dil se, apni bimari se bhi pyar karna chahiye jaise tumse aur life jeeni chahiye, apne patients ka ilaaj karna chahiye…

R: (placing down aarish on floor) well armaan tumhe iss dilemma ka answer pata hi hai aur mera bhi…

A: par riddhima itna aasaan nahi hai sab..

R: aur tum ye bhi jaante ho ki itna mushkil nahi hai sab…

A: par hospital mai aakar acha nahi lagta, yaha sab log fake hai, jhoote hai… muh par kuch aur hote hai aur back mai kuch aur.. (some of bitter of people conversations came in his mind)

R: koi nayi baat nahi hai armaan, ye to har jagah hi hota hai, par kya unke darr se hum jeena chod denge??? Aur jiss staff kitum baat kar rahe ho dekhna kal wo hi tumhari achayi karte thakenge nahi, bas tum khud apne andar ek baar wo hi junoon, wo hi spirit le aao ki tumhe kuch kar dikhana hai sabko apne liye aur hamare liye, iss se bada answer koi nahi de payega inn logo ko.. aur tum khud hi kehte ho ki 3^rd person ke baare mai sochkar apna waqt kharaab nahi karna chahiye…

A: tumhe bhi pata hai aur mujhe bhi ki bolna aasan hota hai, par 3^rd person ki baatein hi jayda effect karti hai…

R: aur hume ye bhi pata hai wo baatein tabhi jayda effect karti hai jab unn baton mai kahi na kahi chahe jara si hi par sachai chuppi hoti hai, tabhi wo baatein chubhti hai, nahi to nahi…

A: aur mujhe to tum kabhi girne ka bhi mauka nahi deti… (he smiled, then tried to put his head in her lap but his legs were jammed, riddhima quickly put his legs on couch and settled his head in her lap and kept on caressing his head) riddhima itna aasaan nahi hoga phir se practice start karna, agar patients ne kaha ki pehle khud ko to theek kar lo phir hume theek karne ki sochna..

R: armaan startin mai dikkat aa sakti hai, but I trust your capabilities aur tumhe bhi apni capability par bharosa hona chahiye…

A: agar kuch galat hua to??? Tum mere saath rahogi na hamesha???

R: har pal, har moment par… (she nuzzled on his forehead and then hugged him) to kab se join karne ki soch rahe ho??

A: kal se… (riddhima hugged him with a wide smile and after sometime they goes to dr. keerti, armaan agreed to work under dr. keerti for a month, everything's going well, riddhima's happy that armaan's trying to give another chance to his life, not for her sake but for his own sake but as if their fate wants something else.. as if their fate can't see them happy no matter if they're trying to live happily even in bad conditions, they're accepting their bad condition with love but as if their fate always try to break them, fate loves to see them in pain..)

Today around 5 am both armaan riddhima got up as they thought to decorate house for their lil prince as he would be turning an year old on next day and they wanted to decorate their house as beautiful as they can, armaan's suggesting riddhima that they can do this and they did lil more preparations and finally goes to get ready, while riddhima's helping armaan in waering his jeans, she could read excitement in his eyes, after all he's practicising after 6 months, surely he would be excited, then both made aarish ready, he too's in chirpy mood..

Trio headed towards hospital, riddhima took aarish with herself after leaving armaan in his cabin, she gave best wishes to him, to which armaan smiled and nodded, dr. keerti told him that he has to do routine check ups today and she settled down in front of his table and kept on checking the treatments he's giving to patients, he gave some light medicines to one of the patients, dr. keerti asked him the reason, then armaan showed her patient's case history and explained her that heavy dosage could be harmful for the patient..

dr. keerti looked him with amazement and after sometime she moved out thinking that armaan can handle very well and there's no need to stay their anymore and she straightway goes to riddhima as she knew that riddhima must be worried/nervous, riddhima's first worried when saw dr. keerti thinking if everything's okk or not but when dr. keerti told her about armaan she felt herself flying in open sky, she hugged dr. keerti out of happiness and a tear of happiness rolled down from her eye..

and after that she can't concentrate on her paper work as she wanted to hug him but still 1 hour's there for lunch break and she didn't want to disturb him, but atlast she got up after 15 minutes and took aarish in her arms and moved towards neurology section, she stood outside his cabin, aarish squeal loudly when saw his dad, but before armaan could notice riddhima hides behind door with her hand on aarish's face, she showed him eyes and asked him to stay quiet and in between heard "riddhima bahar mat khadi ho, andar aa jao", she thought to move down but again heard "waapis nahi andar aane ko kaha hai",

she turned with surprise thinking may be he's around but he's still in his cabin, she atlast with nervousness goes in cabin, ankit's busy in checking his patients, riddhima looked at armaan then looked down, armaan smiled and after medication, he turned to riddhima, taking aarish from her, he looked her with raised eyes and riddhima kept on fidgeting with her dupatta and then suddenly hugged him tightly, armaan smiledand they both goes in cafeteria for lunch, armaan shared his experience, his excitement didn't go unnoticed by riddhima, she just kept on smiling, in between aarish fell asleep in his arms, they goes in armaan's cabin…

R: I think ab tum dusri chair par shift ho jao..

A: par phir mujhe agar kuch chahiye hoga to kaise lunga, remember uss chair par wheels nahi hai..

R: are bas thodi daer ke liye, taaki tumhari back ko rest mil jaye, ye chair comfortable nahi hai.. (armaan nodded, riddhima helped him to shift on his chair, after that they chatted lil more, in between her pager started buzzing) I've to go..

A: par still 1 hour hai break over hone mai..

R: emergency hai… (she got up with aarish) par armaan rishu ko kaha choddungi, mujhe to OT mai jaana hai..

A: to mere paas chod jao.. isme itna pareshan kyu ho rahi ho???

R: par tum bhi to busy hoge patients ke saath..

A: general check-ups hai riddhima, aur dhaanu waise bhi ab 4-5 hrs se pehle nahi uthne waala… to tum isse yahi chod jao.. (she nodded and got up, looking around thinking where should she put him) riddhima wo jo stretcher ke uppar stretcher pada hai usse waha sula do…. (riddhima looked at it, it's like bed above bed and one more bed means 3 beds)

R:(she hesitated) par waha???

A: don't worry, mai dekh raha hun… (she nodded and on the verge of putting him on bed when)

Ankit: ye kya kar rahi ho riddhima ji??? Aarish ke liye ye safe place nahi hai, iss se better ki aap isse apne saath OT le jaiye…

A: well dr. ankit thanks for advice, par hum apne bache ke baare mai aapse behtar jaante hai…

Ak: ohh um so sorry for interruption…(armaan smiled fakely, riddhima put him on bed and took wishes from armaan and moved out, armaan too closed his eyes for lil rest and when did he slept he didn't know, he got up with pager tone, their break's over, he looked at aarish who's sleeping peacefully, he thought to move on his wheel chair, but patients started coming so he remained sitted on chair, he's looking like nothing happened to him, he's totally fine and that added more confidence in him)

He's busy in checking patients and after 2-3 patients, he's a kind of free as no patient came in, he thought to call someone to help him move on his chair but found no one around, so he called at nurse station, in between he got frightened when heard aarish's loud scream and crying hard, aarish got up with jerk, crying badly, after a bit armaan's heart beat came under control,he called "ardhaannnn", as hearing his daeda voice, he always stops crying, but he turned towards him and looking him he started crying more hard and opened his lil arms, asking him to pick him up…

Armaan for a moment's dumbfounded, he didn't know what he should do now, aarish his lil jaan's crying hard in front of him and he can't move, aarish's again and again opening and closing his palm, calling his father, asking him to pick him up, his lil eyes started getting red.. armaan again paged everyone, but didn't find anyone, he paged riddhima, his breathes started strucking in his thought, he even can't call aarish, if he does so then aarish started moving towards him and may fall down in this process, his forehead's full of sweat…

Aarish when got no response from armaan started crawling on bed, armaan shouted "no aarish.. please aage mat aana.. please", from his eyes tears started rolling down and hearing his daeda voice aarish moved lil more faster, armaan's voice as if struck in his throat.. he with tears mumbled "somebody help please… please mere bache ko bacha lo"

Seeing aarish on the edge of bed, armaan screamed "aarishhhhhhh" and he with jerk tried hard to move his body and in process he himself fell down from his chair and his head hits in table, he looked up holding his head and with blurry vision again shouted "aarishhhhhhhhh" and his son's lying on floor, blood started spreading on floor,

aarish's still conscious and was crying badly and armaan's head's swaying badly seeing his baby, he tried to move but not able to move even a single bit, he cursed his legs and from his eyes tears were flowing, and past hour roamed in his mind when he's asking riddhima to put aarish on bed and he'll take care of everything, aarish's screaming out of pain, armaan gathered energy and will power from all over his body and dragged his upper body on his elbow,

he took 3-4 steps when 3-4 nurses and ward boys entered in room followed by dr. ankit who mumbled "ohhhh shittt" and rushed towards aarish, he's crying badly, he picked him up and asked nurses to bring one bed quickly, his blood kept on flowing, before ankit could take baby, dr. shashank who came in morning and presently was on rounds entered in cabin….

Sh: dr. ankit.. what happened, ye kiska bacha hai?? Aur iska itna khoon kyu beh raha hai???

Ak: (getting aside and looked at armaan) ye dr. riddhima aur inka beta hai, 3^rd stretcher par so raha tha, may be all of a sudden jag gaya hoga, iss se pehle dr. armaan uss tak pahunch paate, wo gir gaya hoga…

Sh: (taking baby from ankit) itni unchain par kisne sulane ke liye kaha tha??? Pure hospital mai bas yahi jagah mili thi kya bache ko sulane ke liye

Ak: ji dr. armaan chahte the ki wo apne bte ka dhyan rakhein, unke paas work load jayda nahi tha aaj, issliye.. unhe kya pata tha ki aisa kuch ho jayega… ( dr. shashank gave armaan a disgusted look ) I think sir hume aarish ka (before he could speak, riddhima entered in saying armaan and seeing rush in room, she at first got confused, niki too entered in as armaan paged her too)

Sh: hume aarish ko abhi admit karna padega, iska blood loss bahut jayda ho

chukka hai… (turning to riddhima, who's confused and then screamed aarish when saw him in blood and quickly took him in arms)

R: kya hua aarish.. kya hua baby??? Utho apni mumma se baat karo betu.. kya hua aapko??? (she said this while shaking badly) ye bol kyu nahi raha kuch??? (she looked at niki, who rubbed her arms) hua kya hai aarish??? Aarish kuch bolo na… dekho mera dil baitha jaa raha hai betu, apni mumma se baat karo… utho(her voice chocked and she looked at dr. shashank)

Sh: humse nahi apne uss husband se pucho jiski laparwahi ke kaaran aisa hua hai….(they get aside, armaan's still on floor and crying, seeing him riddhima's grip around aarish slightly loosened and she screamed armaann, she handled aarish to niki, though dr. shashank and dr. ankit opened their arms to hold him but she handled aarish to niki and quickly rushed to armaan, tears started flowing down from her eyes, in between niki quickly took aarish to ICU as she felt aarish's not well, atul and rahul too came, niki told them everything and they started examine aarish…)

R: bas armaan… (clearing his face) ye kya haalat banayi hai??

A: (he tried to pointed towards door) riddhima aarish.. hamara beta..

R: kuch nahi hoga usse..(armaan cried badly, riddhima hugged him) armaan.

A: wo bahut tej niche gira hai riddhima, uska face seedha jameen par tha, usse bahut chot aayi hogi…. Wo… (riddhima hold his hand and again cleared his face, her heart too's frightened but some how controlling her emotions, she moved armaan on his chair and made him drink water, armaan quickly clutched riddhima from her tummy with his head on her tummy like a small baby) I'm sorry riddhima… maine kuch bhi jaanbhuj kar nahi kiya…(riddhima's shocked hearing this)

R: (cupped his face) armaan ye tum kya keh rahe ho?? Koi baap apne bache ko kyu dukh dena chahega, it's just an accident, how could you blame youself huhh?? (she hugged him tightly) ssshhhhhh… ab agar tum hi aise behave karoge to rishu ko kaun sambhalega jaan, usse apne mumma-daeda dono ki jarurat haina aur agar uske daeda hi tut jayenge to baby ko kaun sambhalega…(armaan cleared his tears and nodded, riddhima turned his wheel chair towards door, only to find dr. shashank still standing there, giving disgusting looks to armaan and then riddhima for a second too, riddhima too looked him disgustingly then moved out)

Dr. shashank thought "paagal ho gayi hai ye ladki, bte ka khoon beh raha tha aur uski parwah kiye bina armaan ko uthane challi gayi, armaan ko samjhane lagi, jaise aarish iska khoon na ho kissi paraye ka khoon ho, uss ladke ki wajah se aarish ke saath itna bada hadsa ho gaya, uss ladke ki bewkufi aur nadaani ki wajah se, aarish ki life ko khatra ho sakta tha par uski parwah nahi ki aur uss apahij ko jiske liye har cheez majak hai uski help karne lagi,paagal ho gayi hai, paagal aaj nahi 6 saal pehle hi hui thi jo iss ladke se shaadi kithi.."

Niki almost shouted at riddhima "tujhe akal nahi hai, pichle 15 minute se teri wait kar rahein hai hum yaha, kaah thi tu???"

R: (peeping inside through window) armaan ko lekar aa rahi thi..

Ni: are you mad riddhima, yaha tera beta khoon se latpat pada hai aur tu 15 minute armaan ke saath thi, aisa kya kar rahe the, baatein baad mai bhi ho sakti thi, ya phir as usual romance.

R: niki (almost shouted) shut up niki..

Ni: armaan se jayda aarish ko teri jarurat thi riddhima, wo beech mai 2 minute ke liye rote rote utha tha aur uski najrein bas tumhe dhund rahi thi aur tu..

R: mai armaan ko laa rahi thi, usse akela to nahi chod sakti thina..

Ni: you know what riddhima, mujhe kabhi kabhi lagta hai ki aarish ki tumhari life mai koi value hi nahi hai, tujhe hamesha armaan ki parwah rehti hai, aarish se bhi uppar.. kehte hai ki duniya mai sabse jayda pyar maa apne bache se karti hai par tujhe dekh kar lagta nahi hai, teri hamesha armaan hi priority rehta hai, no matter agar aarish ko teri jayda jarurat hui bhi, tab bhi tujhe armaan ki parwah pehle hogi.. lagta hi nahi ki tu pyar karti hai aarish se…

Finally she blurted her anger out as she's seriously feeling rediculious that riddhima's not worrying about aarish, he's in blood, she herself skipped her beats when saw the most beautiful child in blood, but her mother didn't care about him, rather she's with his father who's alright just needed to be seated on chair ,

riddhima didn't reply may be because no one can understand her and so as her reason, how will she make everyone understand that at that time armaan needs her more.. "aarish ke paas to sab the, pura hospital staff, par armaan..usse kissi ne uthakar chair par bithane ki koshish tak nahi ki, uske aansun punch kar usse comfort karna to dur ki baat hai,usspar kya beeti hogi aur wo kaise apne bte ke paas pahunchne ki koshish kar raha tha kissi ne nahi socha.."

she clutched her hand tightly when saw atul giving injection to aarish, her nail tore her skin and blood started coming out, her heart mumbled "aarish", she felt ache in heart, then she looked at armaan who's just staring inside ICU without blinking eyes and again and again caressing his child from window, trying to fight with his tears so that they don't cross his eyes border, in between rahul came out and goes to armaan immediately with some papers, riddhima quickly rushed to him..

Ra: armaan hume aarish ka bilkul abhi operation karna padega…

A: (with shoch) kyaaaaaa????

Ra: haan, wo chahe jayda unche se na gira ho, par gira muh ke bal(taraf) se hai, jiss se uska 1 milky daant tut gaya hai aur agar wo humne abhi attach na kiya to uska wo daant kabhi nahi aa payega.. forehead par 2 stitches aayenge aur.. (he stopped, armaan's heart sank, he's not able to speak "aur??", horror could be seen on armaan's face)

R: (from back mumbled with horror) aur dr. rahul???

Ra: (turned and with lowered eyes told her) aur uski leg fractured ho gayi hai, second leg mai ankle hil gayi hai, may be usse jindagi bhar khade hone mai problem ho, hume immediately operate karna padega and risk factor bahut jayda hai.. (he chocked and cursed himself that why he's always choosen to give bad news to his friends.. best friends, he saw tears rolling down from her eyes and she backed, shaking her head in no)

R: aisa kaise ho sakta hai, itni badi unchayi se nahi gira tha wo… uski leg kaise fractured ho sakti hai??

Ra: riddhima bache bahut nazuk hote hai, unki bones dheere dheere strong hoti hai, abhi to bahut delicate hoti hai bones, jara sa twist ho jayein tabhi fracture hone ka darr hota hai, to wo to….

R: (looked in ICU) aarish…

Ra: himmat se kaam lo riddhima, uska operation karna jaruri hai abhi issi

waqt nahi to complications bhad jayengi…. (riddhima looked at armaan who didn't react, his eyes were not giving any emotion, riddhima cleared her tears and goes to armaan and shaked him slightly..)

R: (caressing his head, with choked voice) armaan papers sign karo… (armaan didn't react, she placed her hand on his shoulder, armaan this time looked at her, he could see how hard she's trying to control her tears just for him)

A: itna brave ban ne ki koshish na karo riddhima ki tumhe khud hi apni pehchan na ho…(riddhima looked him, then broke down completely in his arms, seeing her a tear again rolled down but he cleared it immediately and kept on caressing her hair and then looked at rahul and asked him to give papers)

he signed papers with trembling hands as he knew he has to hide his emotions and guilt right now as riddhima needs him more, if he broke down then riddhima's emotions will be killed inside her heart and she'll become fake, so he let her cry, and asked 1 nurse to bring water, he noticed the disappointed look on everyone's faces for himself that surely broke him more and made him feel more guilty, but he kept on caressing riddhima's head and made her drink water..

R: armaan rahul keh raha tha may be wo chal nahi payega…mujhe bahut darr lag raha hai, itna chotta sa bacha, kaise itna bada dard sahen karega, wo to hamare aankh dikhane se hi darr jaata hai, itne bade injections kaise lega?? Armaan kaho na ki mai bahut bura sapna dekh rahi hun, mai iss sapne se bilkul khush nahi hun, please mujhe utha do iss sapne se…please jaga do… (armaan holds her tightly and hugged her, don't know what to say) armaan aarish…

A: kuch nahi hoga usse riddhima, itni strong mumma ka jo beta hai, dekhna

jaldi hi apne paero par chalna shuru kar dega, aur bhaagega, phir tum ye kahogi ki armaan rishu ko pakdo na, mujhse to ab usse pakda nahi jaa raha.. (riddhima slightly smiled and then again tears flowed down)

R: kal rishu 1 year ka ho jayega…(she smiled fakely, reminding herself that tomorrow's aarish b'day, their preparations and their excitement, armaan's also lost when rahul came and told them that they're talking aarish to OT, AR quickly rushed in room, seeing the mask of oxygen on her child's face again made riddhima crazy, she fell on ground, next to his bed and cried badly, then got up and kissed on his forehead and tried to say something but her voice couldn't cross her throat, she just caressed his lil head which's already covered with bandaid,riddhima's heart sank thinking "ye nanhi si jaan stitches ka dard kaise sahen kar payega..)

Armaan kept on looking his son from far, reminding the time from lunch break to the time when aarish fell down in front of his eyes, his vision again got blurry coz of tears, he didn't get courage to go near him, he again felt guilty, when rahul asked him if he won't wish his son good luck, armaan just moved near his bed, don't know what to do thinking "mai kya good luck wish karunga jab mai hi uska bad luck laya hun"

he wished in heart "kaash tera har dard mujhe 100 baar lage, par bhagwan kabhi tujhpar koi aanch na laaye.. kaashhhh… kaasshhhh", saying so he raised his hand to caress his head but stopped in middle and brought his hand back,rahul said its time and was on the verge of pulling bed but stopped and armaan surprisingly looked above, his 1 finger was tightly curled by one soft lil finger,

he looked at aarish who's under the effect of anaesthesia and his lil palm that's holding him tight, he's not able to control himself anymore, he showered aarish with kisses, want to pick him and hug him tightly but aarish's body was not ready for it, rahul detangled his hand from his daeda, armaan pained, rahul took aarish inside OT, where as armaan quickly rushed out and in isolated place, hits his head on wall several times with tears flowing down in continuation, he's angry.. he's very angry on himself, he's on the verge of hitting his hand on wall but stopped when reminded aarish holding his finger, he cried once again and on the verge of hitting his head in wall but his head hit on someone's hand and without looking up, he moved his arms around her waist tightly and cried..

A : mere ardhaan ko waapis le aao, wo injections nahi tolerate kar payega, wo mera nanha sa bacha bahut najuk hai, maaine aisa kyu kiya, kyu bhul gaya ki mai ab wo nahi hun jo khud ko samajhta hun, kyu responsibility li maine, apni haalat jaante hue bhi mai kaise itni badi galti kar gaya, mai kabhi khud ko maaf nahi kar paunga, kabhi nahi..

R: armaan it's just an accident.. why don't you understand, agar tum theek bhi hote to kya guranttee le sakte ho ki aisa kuch nahi ho sakta tha…stop blaming yourself… (in between riddhima's called by someone, armaan said he'll stop here only, riddhima after clearing his tears rushed and armaan after few minutes gathered some courage and thought to see aarish from observation room but before that…

Pata nahi kya soch kar armaan ko hospital mai rakha gaya hai, unki wajah se aaj aarish ko itna suffer karna pad raha hai, kaash bhagwan ne armaan ko uss din bachaya hi na hota, jo jindagi apno ke liye khatra ban jaaye aisi jindagi se to behtar hai ki insaan mar hi jaye, dr. riddhima ki jindagi bhi barbaad ho gayi, saari jindagi wo kya inhi jhanjhat mai uljhi rahegi, idhar bacha ko sambhalna, pati ko sambhalna ya phir patients ko…

Second one: mere khayal se to dr. riddhima ko armaan se divorce le lena chahiye aur nayi jindagi shuru karni chahiye, armaan ke saath rahegi to khatam ho jayegi unki jindagi aur unke bache ki bhi, armaan ko khud samajhna chahiye iss baat ko ki wo to khud jee nahi sakta par apne saath dr. riddhima aur aarish ko kyu baandh rakha hai, usse khud free kar dena chahiye unhe apne aap se taaki wo to apni life aaraam se aur sukoon se jee sakein, kitna pareshan rehti hai dr. ridhima, smile to unki life se jaise bhaag hi gayi ho aur ye sab armaan ki wajah se… dr. riddhima ko apni life ke baare mai sochna chahiye, after all unhe bhi hak hai ek khushhaal jindagi jeene ka.

Armaan's just frozen when heard "divorce", he didn't dare to turn and look who's talking to whom, he's just soo lost to notice it, again all the words knocked in his mind, he's hell shocked, hardly in dreams he'd thought that when bad time knock his door all the people will also turn against him, infact they'll be wishing to depart his breathes, his soul from his body,

hearing the word "divorce" he simply felt like someone had taken his soul away.. how much people changes according to your time, how much fake are these people, he reminded when all used to bless their love, all used to praise him, all used to adore him, all used to appreciate him, but how everything changes, now all their blessings turned into cursing, they even want riddhima to leave him, but why, he didn't get the reason exactly, why???

Coz he could not walk anymore, his legs left his side that means they'll also leave his side, how much he tries to behave normal, but why's everyone not normal with him, how much he'll fight???Daily with himself, with his emotions, with his fate, and if he somehow succeeds in fighting with himself then all the people, this worlds stands in front of him with the most destructive weapon that's their tongue, which almost tear him completely,

from where he'll gather that courage everyday to fight with everyone, at the end he's also a human not god who'll neglect everything and kept on moving, how much he'll ignore everyone talks, one day it'll surely effect him na.. and that day riddhima'll also be not able to handle him, no matterarmaan can't even take a breathe in without riddhima in his life but everytime her love for him won't shield his heart from the wounds he got from everyone's behavior..

He came in present when heard riddhima's voice, he cleared his eyes and straightens his face, he went to her, she told him that aarish's operation over, both with raised heartbeats goes to special ward where aarish's there, seeing aarish's leg covered with bandaid armaan again felt broken, riddhima looked at atul who did operation, atul told her "abhi kuch bi kehna mushkil hai riddhima, may be wo kuch dino mai bhaag bhi sakta hai aur may be wo hamesha",

he stopped and looked at her, then looked at armaan and placed his hand on armaan's shoulder, armaan didn't react just kept on reminding his moments with aarish and trying hard not to cry as he didn't want to look week, again he's fighting with his tears hard, he looked at aarish mouth which too had stitches, he clutched the corner of bed tightly without knowing his one part's broken and it entered in armaan's hand like a knife does, from his hand blood started coming out but he didn't wince even for once,

just kept on looking his son, his babyish "dadada" kept on knocking his mind, his calling with his lil palms kept on roaming in front of armaan's eyes and his hand kept on pressing hard against the bed, after some time riddhima saw blood drops scattering on floor, she looked at armaan and then his hand which's still pressing,

riddhima this time didn't give worry and shocked expressions but she quietly moved to him and without saying anything settled next to him and placed her hand under his hand and let that knife entered in her hand too, hardly 2-3 drops of blood came out from her hand when armaan looked at her with shock and quickly removed her hand and sucked her blood..

A: ye kya kar rahi thi tum, paagal ho gayi ho kya??

R: paagal to mai ho gayi hun armaan, par tumhe samjhate samjhate, kyu meri patience ka itna bada imtehaan le rahe ho armaan?? Maine kya bigada hai tumhara??? Kaise samjhaun tumhe, kaise yakeen dilwaun tumhe ki tumhari koi galti nahi thi, ye just accident tha jo kabhi bhi kissi ke saath ho sakta hai, stop punishing yourself armaan, kyu bhul jaate ho kipunish tum khud ko karoge to tumhara dard mujhe hoga, agar aarish ka dard aise kam ho sakta hai to let me be a part of it,

kyunki wo jitna tumhara ansh hai utna hi mera ansh bhi usme hai, to uska dard bhi hum milkar hi lete hai, usse yaha bed par lete rehne dete hai aur hum aise hi apna khoon nikalte rehte hai, dekhna thodi daer mai wo uchalna shuru ho jayega bed par, this is the way we should take care of our child.. (armaan moved his eyes to other side, riddhima knew her words lil hurted him but this's the only way she could realize him that how it feels when we saw our own jaan hurting themselves for no reason,

then she cleared his hand and saw that the cut's deep and he need stitches, she felt pained, again she cleared her tears for the umpteenth time since noon and asked nurse to bring needle and thread and he's on the verge of giving him anaesthesia when he said he didn't want it, riddhima ignored his saying and hold his other hand and gave him anaesthesia and started applying stitches with anger, armaan after 4-5 stitches hugged riddhima from waist tightly, riddhima kept on doing stitching…

it has been 3 weeks since aarish operation but still he's not good, his first b'day went in pain, as on his b'day morning he gained consiousness and kept on crying for the whole day out of pain, both armaan riddhima found hard to handle him as being a child he didn't know which body part he should not move at all

and out of pain he kept on throwing his one leg in air or tried to open his bandaid on head with his lil palms, he didn't calm down in his parents lap, kept on crying all the time as all of a sudden he's not getting what's causing him pain so much, hardly he's able to swallow anything due to stitches, so he's on saline, or riddhima used to give her own feed everytime,

after he completed his 11 months riddhima started feeding him on irregular days as he's now growing, though she could feed him upto 2 years but she didn't prefer, as now his diet increased a lot due to his growth and her mammary glands didn't produce that much milk enough to satisfy his hunger and as a result he remained with partially filled stomach

and riddhima infact armaan suggested her to stop giving her feed else aarish'll develop a habit of satisfying with partially filled stomach, and now she only feeds him when at night his bottle gets empty and still aarish don't like to sleep and kept on rolling on bed with unsatisfaction, then riddhima's feed helps him to slip into a deep sleep..

Aarish in hospital whenever took feed calms down for lil time and again started crying as feeling lots of pain, ritu-chirag came from goa to look him but aarish didn't recognize them and going in their lap was a far thing, infact he's not recognizing anyone except for his parents and he frightens whenever sees anyone in room and hides himself in armaan or riddhima, if anyone touches him,

he literally screams, so no one's allowed in his room,infact his dressing too's done by armaan, riddhima holds aarish carefully and tightly and armaan does his dressing, at first armaan's not ready to do it but hearing his child screams and tears he forgot everything.. everything about himself and about people, just only 3 of them he remembered and he does his dressing with utmost care, not to hurt him at all,

kept him engaged in babyish talks or when riddhima feeds him, at that time he does his dressing coz he's so lost in having his feed that nothing matters to him at that time, bottle's strictly prohibited for him as his teeths have stitches and stress on them could be harmful, riddhima while feeding aarish have to keep in mind that at any point of time his teeth should not be used,

so she has to maintain pressure of flow of milk in starting only so that aarish

don't feel to use his teeth, and when she feels tired sometimes than armaan helps her in maintaining the quivalent pressure and side by side kept on rubbing her back so as to make her feel relaxed, he's ensuring that riddhima don't skip meals at any time, her meals included all healthy food items and riddhima too doesn't fuss about eating or having a large glass of milk as well as various kind of juices as for aarish she has to do this..

With increasing time aarish started settling with pain and his crankieness as armaan kept on sitting with him on lap and he didn't allow him to move his legs, he kept on involve him in talks and aarish kept on looking him and soon falls asleep, with increasing time armaan asked atul to remove sleeping injections and pills from aarish medication as he'll form a habbit of it, first atul was not sure but seeing aarish comfortability in his daeda's lap he agreed,

though riddhima wanted to take a month leave but except for a week she's not allowed to take any more as she knows her patients history very well and its hard for dr. keerti to handle everything at last minute, armaan too suggested her to resume her duties as aarish will be in hospital for a month and she can come whenever she wants, riddhima finally agreed and asked armaan to take care of himself and their child, armaan hesitated and asked her to send one nurse too for aarish to which riddhima showed him eyes..

R: armaan tum kaisi baatein kar rahe ho?? Aarish kissi ki shakal nahi dekh raha aur uske liye kissi nurse ko bulana bahut dur ki baat hai..

A: but he's not safe with me…(he said while looking at aarish)

R: armaan iska answer tum mujhse better jaante ho ki aarish kiske saath jayda secured feel karega, iss baar mai tumhe naahi kuch samjahungi, aur naahi yakeen dilwaungi kitum jaise father kismat se hi naseeb hota hai, and that you are the bestesstttttt father and husband in thi s world.. look at aarish armaan, kitna calmly so raha hai ye tumhare paas kyunki usse pata hai uske daeda hai aur usse kuch nahi ho sakta…

armaan 1 hi week mai sleeping pills band hona koi chotti baat nahi hai, specially bacho ke liye, wo kaha stitches aur operation ka dard ashen kar paate hai, so nahi paate 1 pal ke liye, tumhe batane ki jarurat nahi hai ki kitna pain hota hai, jab hum hi stitches ka dard nahi sahen kar paate to rishu to abhi bacha hai, par phir bhi uski sleeping pills band ho gayi aur wo kitne aaram se so raha hai jaise kuch na hua ho, just b'coz wo tumhare paas hai, ab iss se jayda mai kaise samjhaun tumhe ki tumse best rishu ka koi dhyan nahi rakh sakta???

A: (for assurance) u sure, mai rishu ka dhyan rakh sakta hun na, kahi uske liye phir koi musibat to nahi le aaunga na??(riddhima shaked her head and kisses on his head then on aarish's head, she turned to go when stopped)

R: armaan tumne bhi to resume karni hai duty, kab se karoge?? (armaan though to tell her that he didn't want to join duty again but for the time being)

A: abhi mera jayda jaruri nahi hai, aur aarish ke paas hum dono mai se koi to rahega hi jab tak wo theek nahi ho jaata, aarish ke discharge hone ke baad dekhte hai…

Riddhima goes in her section, armaan timely used to send her meals with note or pages her to have it and side by side vitamins tablets too, riddhima seriously feels that she's the luckiest person on earth, handling aarish's not easy at all, but armaan always used to stand like a strong pillar with her, with whose support riddhima can never fall as that pillar have the capacity to face all the storms,

all heat and cold but won't leave its place and won't let her face anything, its b'coz of him everytime that she faces all difficulties with no complaints, though aarish's accident shattered her deeply, she kept on paining badly seeing her child in that condition and she's not known that how'll she take care of him but armaan as usual comforted her, he helped her in giving aarish bath, in changing clothes, in feeding him, in dressing him… and the list goes on, he again handled the two of them as her heart sank when saw aarish not moving his one leg at all but armaan comforted her in every possible way forgetting all his own pain, he handled his family like always, he didn't drop even a single tear from 3 weeks, and like always he didn't break in front of everyone, though riddhima knew that armaan cries at night when she fell asleep but he didn't show it…

riddhima came in present when one boy placed a big glass of milk on her table with vanilla assence, she smiled a bit thinking how come he knows that she wants this flavor today, she sipped it without making faces, armaan knew very well that she didn't like milk so he always orders in cafeteria to serve her flavoured milk, she's happy today as aarish for the first time in last 3 weeks played today and smiled and chuckled too with a clap, still 20 days left for his plaster to get open and there's no movement in his leg,

they finally accepted this pain also without any fuss or complaint against god, and with a smile and if fate's again started feeling jealous of their smile, thinking how come they didn't curse me for once also, I should teach them a lesson, this time I'll punish them more hardly, let me see till what time they can smile… they're challenging me… me their fate, they'll surely going to loose badly…

Part-179 (main highlight besides the pain : riddhima confronting dr. shashank)

It has been a week since armaan joined his duty back on riddhima's insistence, they managed their time so that almost one of them always stays around aarish and if both have duties then they call niki or atul to stay around him as aarish after his parents started recognizing them a lil, as his stitches of forehead, mouth and ankle was opened, so he became less cranky after a month of his accident, ritu kept on calling them again and again for knowing aarish's health as ritika's mid exams were going on so she can't come to them but maintained contacts very well..

Today armaan's not feeling like working, he infact want to run from this hospital, he wants to go home with their child and take care of him, he feels more comfortable there, more secured, he knew he's trying to run from the situation and he'll be called as coward if he leaves job but atleast it'll be bearable to him, than to bear lots of taunts and lots of disrespect everyday, he'd accepted that everything has changed now, every people, hospital environment, everyone's eyes and he himself has changed, he's not enougf strong to face everyone with confidence..

After 2 days of routine check-up, dr. keerti asked armaan to do surgery with dr.shashank as for routines he's excellent and he should take surgeries starting from short one to long and one wardboy will be always there to help him in OT, armaan's first lil scared but when riddhima encouraged him, he nodded, he thought to ignore everyone and concentrate on work for his family, once he'll be succeeded in handling surgeries all mouths will be shut

He entered in OT, dr. shashank's already there, he smirked at him and with sarcasm "ohh ye karenge surgery.. khud to theek ho jayein pehle, ab mareej khud hi dusre mareej ka ilaaj karenge.."he smirked again, armaan before operation again felt down but somehow tried to assist him, throughout the operation dr. shashank kept on reminding him about his illness and after operation a hurted armaan came out, but he somehow managed to divert riddhima's mind by creating a fake face in front of her..

Like this his whole week passed, if his duty was with dr. ankit then he feels insulted as ankit don't let him work, he interferes in every matter saying you are doing it wrong or else he kept on asking him to be careful when he's most careful, he keeps on ordering him and armaan don't likes it, his each surgery's with both of them and with them he always feel that he's the worst person in this world,

so he wants to run away from hospital but with whom he'll share this feeling as he finds difficult to explain himself then how he'll convince riddhima for this and moreover he don't wanna irritate her more by saying all those things to her repeatedly as he now started understanding how much difficult it's for her to daily explain him the same things, but what he should do now to keep himself away from hospital??

In between his pager buzed again, he with little heart turned for OT but stopped, again giving kiss to his child who chuckle and hold his hand, armaan picked him up and caress him with all the love, in between ankit came and asked him to do all the nataks after surgery, we don't have time, he goes at his back, riddhima'd already paged him her wishes, armaan after his first surgery or better say it's ankit's surgery coz like always he didn' let armaan anything to do, armaan had decided not to perform second surgery which was again with dr. ankit..

A: dr. ankit singhania.. (he turned to him) mai aapke saath next surgery mai hissa nahi le paunga..

Ak: (shocked) par kyu dr. armaan??

A: agar mujhe aapko surgery karte hue dekhna hi hai to mai observation room se bhi dekh sakta hun..

Ak: dr. armaan aapko to khush hona chahiye ki aapko pakki pakayi kheer mil rahi hai..

A: (cutting him) mujhe naam ke liye apne name ke aage doctor nahi lagana, mai patients ko truly treat karna chahta hun..

Ak: I think you are just over reacting dr. armaan, waise bhi patient ki jaan bachni chahiye phir chahe aap operation karein ya mai, aur aapko kya problem hai?? Bina kuch kare hue aapko 2 lakh rupaye ki salary mil jayegi, ek handicapped person ke liye iss se badi baat kya ho sakti hai??

A: (feeling disgusted) mai dr. keerti se kehkar apni duty change karwa leta hun, paiso ke liye shayad aap kaam karte honge, par mai patients ke liye kaam karta hun'(he turned to go, where as ankit was a bit scared coz dr. keerti already asked ankit to let armaan do all the surgeries and help him if needs, this'll increase his confidence, but everything's going against her and this may create a problem for him, but before he could stop armaan, he'd already left'

He tried to follow him when 1 wardboy told him that dr. keerti is out of town for 1 week, a smile spread on ankit's face when he got this news and he moved back to his cabin, it's evening, ankit again asked armaan to join but he refused, ankit smiled and left for OT, armaan's playing with aarish and while feeding him khichdi with spoon he mumbled " ardhaan ko 3-4 days mai discharge mil jayega, phir hum ghar jayenge aur ardhaan ka bahut ache se b'day celebrate karenge aur khub saara enjoy karenge",

saying so he did tickle in his tummy, making him giggle, then he took him in his arms and hugged him tigtly reminding his first b'day, then thought no bad memories, only good things.. and then mumbled "iss baar mai ardhaan ki khushiyon ke beech kissi ko nahi aane dunga", but as if time has stored something else for them.. all of a sudden all lights went off,

armaan kept on sitting with silence waiting for generator to get started but he heard from outside that generator's short circuited, and in between aarish started crying when saw darkness around him, armaan calmed him and mumbled "wait baby, I'll find a candle for you and he in his cell light finds a candle and places it above his cot on shelf, aarish calmed down and again started playing with armaan and in between heard lots of shouting,

he went out and saw one wardboy screaming "dr. ankit hum bas abhi light ka kuch arrangement karte hai, in between ankit shouted "patient's sinking, do something fast immediately", armaan reminded that ankit's doing someone's operation and lights gone means all the machines that were on current must went off, he looked at aarish who's playing and mumbled "baby mai abhi aaya, don't shout, kissi ki jaan khatre mai hai" aarish chuckled hearing his voice, armaan again glanced him and rushed towards OT, ankit's trying to create pressure on patient's heart.. seeing armaan he with nervousness..

Ak: he's sinking, abhi current dena padega inki body ko, nahi to jaan challi jayegi aur generator kharab ho gaya, samajh nahi aa raha kya karein, itna bada hospital hai, atleast trustees ko itna to chahiye ki wo emergency rooms ko inverter ya phir special and private generators se connect karke rakhein, agar patient ko kuch ho gaya to kauniski jimmedari lega???

A: (suddenly reminding) ohh shit, how can I forget.. (ankit asked what??) yaha inverter ka connection hai, uske liye wire replace karni padegi, tum 2-3 minutes handle karo, mai wo wire change karke aata hun, ankit felt lil relieved, armaan quickly rushed out, he after 2 min of struggle find out wire and did plugging, with in minute light came and he turned towards OT but then his gaze fell on other side from where some screamings were coming, he with confused face turned to that direction'

And slowly slowly reached in special ward corridor and saw lots of people present in front ofspecial ward, his heart thumped thinking what happened and he tried to run his wheel chair, seeing him all the people with worried expression looked at armaan and gave him way and he finally reached in ward and was shocked to see the view in front of him, aarish cot was totally covered with fire and in between aarish's crying and shouting,

fire was reaching inside his cot, armaan for a moment forgot to react and then saw fire started catching his bedding, he quickly rushed towards cot and without caring about fire, he quickly bends down and tried to pick aarish who's by now fainted, armaan somehow picked up aarish as due to fire he's not able to see him and moreover fire had already started catching armaan too, he moved aarish out of cot and hides him in himself and with one hand tried to move his wheel chair back

but it's struck somewhere and when finally he's able to move then its one tyre burst coz of fire but till that time he's out of fire, one nurse quickly took aarish from armaan's arm and took him in ICU, she paged atul and shashank about emergency, riddhima too came running when she received page, she quickly rushed in ICU, but atul asked her to stop outside, she's crying badly when saw lil burns from window on her baby's hands and closed her eyes with horror..

in between dr. shashank too came and looked inside the window and then turned to nurses and asked what happened.. they all told him that aarish's in fire, he asked but from where fire came??? Is there any wire short circuited, all shaked their heads saying "that time there's no light", he asked then?? When one of the wardboy told him that may be b'coz of candle his cot caught fire,

dr. shashank made confused face and asked "but from where candle came from??" and ward boy told him that "aarish's scared of darkness so dr. armaan lightened candle and placed it on shelf and.." before he could complete, dr. shahank shouted " armaan itna laparwah kaise ho sakta hai, aaj phir uski wajah se kissi ki jaan jaa sakti thi, apat nahi kaise wo khud ko doctor ban ne ke lyke maanta hai", in between riddhima realized that armaan's not present there, before she could turn, atul came out from ICU after examing aarish.."

Sh: kaisa hai aarish??

Atul: uska haath puri tarah jal gaya hai, paer par bhi chotte chotte burns hai, abhi operation karna padega, ye nahi pata ki marks kabhi jayenge ya nahi.. (he looked down and then at riddhima who's fighting hard with her tears, who's fighting hard not to break down, she just kept on looking aarish from window..)

Sh: this armaan don't deserve to be a doctor, apne saath saath auron ko bhi apahij bana dega, he's not safe for anyone, pata nahi log kaise kissi apahij ko responsibity de dete hai bacho ki, unhe khud ka pata nahi hota aur kissi ko kya sambhalenge aur dr. keerti, unhone pata nahi kya sochkar armaan ko as a doctor chance dene ki koshish ki, dekh liya 2-2 hadse ho gaye, wo kissi ki life kya save karega, bas wo life le sakta hai, har cheez majak hai uss ladke ke liye, disgusting'.

Saying so he left, riddhima looked at his retreating figure, in between atul asked her to sigh papers, and she again searched for armaan and then signed papers, she again caressed aarish from window and when atul took him to OT, riddhima with tears turned to find out armaan but stopped when saw dr. shashank talking on phone, she thought to reply him first but when she goes near him, she heard..

Sh: sir hum patients ki jaan ka risk nahi le sakte, armaan jaise insaan doctor ban ne ke lyke nahi hai, do baar apne bte ki jaan ka hi khatra ban chukka hai, to wo kissi ke liye bhi jaan leva saabit ho sakta hai, please sir its my request don't allow him to treat anyone in this hospital, ye hamare hospital ki reputation ka bhi sawaal hai, unn jaise ladke jo nihayti careless aur batmeej hai, don't deserve to be a part of such a reputed place, sir its my humble request, throw him out of this hospital, iss se pehle hume kal pachtana pade aur kissi hadse ko lekar, please thrown him out, I hope you understand my concern'

Riddhima's again shocked thought to answer him but her pager rang, she quickly rushed in OT, atul asked her to stay here till operation gets over, coz she can only relax aarish in his unconsciousness state, riddhima nodded and settled besides aarish with her back facing towards his arm which's being operated, slowly slowly aarish quivering came to an end, riddhima thought about armaan..

After 2 hours, atul moved out from OT, aarish's again shifted to ICU, riddhima thought to find armaan so she left aarish as he's still under the effect of anaesthesia, riddhima worriedly looked him through out the hospital but didn't find him, in between armaan who's trying to hide himself from everyone, from his son, finally was not able to control his emotions anymore, so he quietly moved towards ICU when saw riddhima going out, he caressed window with tears flowing down from his eyes, thought to go in but stopped in way, dr. shashank who's on rounds saw him, his anger again rose and he goes to armaan..

Sh: tumhe shaanti nahi mili abhi tak jo muh utha kar phir ICU mai jaa rahe ho, ab kya uski jaan lekar hi maanoge?? Do baar tumhari wajah se marte marte bacha hai, ab bhi koi kassar baaki hai ya tumne soch hi liya hai ki dheere dheere uss bache ko khatam karna hai.. (armaan looked at him with pain and then turned his attention to aarish, again tears flowed down and before dr. shashank could say anything he turned when heard some loud voice full of anger..)

DR. shashank gupta.. (and found riddhima standing in front of him with anger)

R: aap hote kaun ho ye sab puchne waale, aap kyu itni chinta kar rahe ho??

Sh: beta wo tumhara bacha..

R: (cutting him) dr. riddhimarmaan malik, apne workers ke uppar yun jhoota pyar mat jaahir kiya kariye dr. gupta warna logo ko shak hone lagega pyar shabd par, aur wo mera bacha nahi, hamara bacha hai, mera aur mere pati ka, hamare pyar ki nishani hai wo jisse hum dono ne milkar banaya hai apne pyar se, khair pyar word ke baare mai aapko kehna hi bekaar hai, wo to aap bahut pehle hi bhul chukke hai, par itne bade doctor hokar aap lagta hai dheere dheere sab bhulte jaa rahein hai, bache ko janam akeli ladki kaise de sakti hai dr. gupta, uske andar baap ka bhi utna hi haath hota hai jitna ki maa ka, to kissi bhi mod par bacha akele maa ka nahi, dono ka hota hai, maa-baap ka'

Sh: par beta ye baap kehlaane lyke nahi hai, issne 2 baar rishu ki jaan khatre mai daali hai..

A: riddhima tum iss baar aisa kuch nahi karwaogi, mujhe inn chotto ki dressing nahi karwani..

R: armaan ye tum kya keh rahe ho, kitni buri tarah jal gaya hai..

A: its ok, mujhe pain nahi ho raha iss baar, I'm perfect, legs to waise hi kaam nahi karti to unhe to kuch feel hi nahi hota aur haath' ye bahut bada paap kar chukke hai to jara sa dard sahen kar bhi lenge to khatam nahi ho jayenge'

riddhima bites her lips so as not to cry, her soul's crying and screaming but what can she do, for the time she didn't say anything and got up as aarish started crying and as soon as he opened his tiny eyes, he saw his daeda and started crying "daaaddaaadaaaaa" showing his lil arm which was covered with bandaids,

armaan too bites his lips and turned his back, he died thousands times in each second when he's turning his back, his fingers's almost digging in his skin, he's cursing himself for being so heartless, but thought this's his punishment for making his child suffer, aarish didn't stopped crying in his mother's lap too, he kept on calling armaan, riddhima cleared her tears and seeing armaan's back she scolded aarish to stop crying and he started crying more, she put him in cot saying..

R: rote raho, koi mere baare mai nahi sochta, sabko apni padi hai, kissi ko apne daeda chahiye aur koi apne dukh mai itna jayda ghum hai ki usse apni bte ki cheekh bhi nahi sunayi de rahi,mai kaha hun iss sabke beech mai?? Kissi ne socha mere dil ke kitne pieces hote honge apni jindagi ko apni jaan ko yun bikharta dekhkar, kissi ko meri parwah hai, bas sabko apne mai uljhe hai, uljhe raho'

(saying so she goes to door but stopped when heard aarish's wails loudly and saw his injured arm banged on cot and pained him that's why he's crying loudly, she quickly rushed to him and picked him and showered him with kisses) sorry baby, mumma ko gussa nahi karna chahiye tha, sorry angel, I'm so sorry betu' (she hugged him and moved out of room, armaan's having no feelings but his anger on himself's rising, atul who's sitting outside their room asked riddhima if everything's alright, riddhima nodded and asked him he wants to eat food as its late, atul got excited like a baby)

At: haan, pata hai 1 year hone waala hai, maine ghar ka khaana nahi khaya, pehle to padma aunty mujhe khaana khilaati thi par ab mai akela ho gaya hun na to mujhe khaana nahi milta ghar ka, aur mai kitna miss karta hun ghar ke khaane ko, maine 1- baar cook karne ki koshish kithi par end mai bas black bartan hi milte the aur iss karke meri land lady ne ghar se bahar bhi kar diya tha mujhe.. (hepouted, riddhima smiled a bit and caressed his face) tum mujhe khaana khilaogi na, mujhe bahut acha lagega, bahar ka khaana kha khakar ab mai bore ho gaya hun' (riddhima smiled more)

R: tum fresh ho jao, mai dinner lagwati hun.. (atul got up with excitement, riddhima looked at aarish) dekha ye tumhare atul chachu tumse bhi chotte hai abhi'

Atul had dinner and after giving injection to aarish and some tubes and medicines for armaan, he left, ridhima mixed painkiller in armaan's dinner and looked at aarish who's sleeping with frown, then mumbled "aur unse bhi chotte aapke daeda hai jo kabhi kabhi itni jidd karte hai ki mumma aur rishu ke baal khade ho jaate hai unhe manate manate", she's trying hard to act normal though she's totally broken from inside..

She goes to armaan and asked armaan to have dinner, armaan without any

fuss opened his mouth and on the verge of making riddhima eat but backed out as he realized that in his dinner medicine's mixed but he didn't let riddhima know that he knew and had his dinner quietly as he knew riddhima must be worried about his pain and burns coz they're very large and if he'd been at riddhima's place then he would have done same, she understands his pain but can't see me in pain too after all she loved me like hell'

armaan called raju and asked him to bring one more plate and then he feeded riddhima, riddhima's eyes again got filled and thought "maine kaise armaan ko wo sab keh diya, ofcourse wo mere baare mai hi sochta hai, uske alava aur koi nahi sochta mere baare mai, phir bhi itna suna diya maine usse, kya uski kismat mai sabse sun na hi likha hai, maana mujhe pain ho raha tha par mujhse jayda armaan ka pain hai,

aarish uski jaan hai, wo uss se dur nahi reh sakta phir bhi rehkar khud ko saja de raha hai, kyu mai uska dard nahi samajh paati kyuu???", saying so she looked at armaan and said sorry to him and moved out from room before he could speak..at night when armaan fell asleep, riddhima did his dressing with pain in heart, armaan kept on pretending that he's sleeping b'coz he didn't want to hurt riddhima anymore, atleast she could sleep a bit relaxingly after doing his dressin,

riddhima kissed on his each burning, though his burns were big but he didn't need to be operated as his upper layer of skin got burned and after a few dressings it'll be ok, atul told her this as he'd already observed this from far, riddhima caressed aarish and injected in his saline bottle some medicines, then caressed him and settled herself next to armaan with her body towards aarish, she turned aarish towards herself and moved him close to herself such that he's touching her,

she wants to make him feel secured that's why' after sometime she felt armaan's arm around her, she slightly turned and made armaan turn on his one side so that he could be more comfortable, her back's pressing his front and when armaan goes in deep sleep, riddhima took his hand that's on her tummy and placed it on aarish's lil chest, aarish got lil conscious and then holds his daeda's lil finger tightly and slept peacefully, now riddhima felt relaxed feeling tha completeness in her lil family, though they're broken inside in heart yet they're complete, they're one, she smiled and slept finally..
