*SPOILER AUG 3rd*
Well, first of all best of luck to Rakesh, Sreeram, and Bhoomi for making it to the Grand Finale. Whoever of those 3 wins, will be quite deserving because they've all worked hard to get to this point and have made great strides in improving their performances week after week. Who's better than the other is more-so personal preference as they all sound quite different from one another, so one voice may appeal to a certain audience but not with others. And vice-versa. But congratulations to all their fans :-D.
Obviously, like other Swaroop fans, I'm quite a bit disappointed today. Even though I'm surprised he even made it this far, I was secretly hoping he'd at least make it to the finale so we could hear as much of him as possible lol. His voice texture and quality is immensely rich and unique, and even though there were many sub-par performances where Sur was lost, I really do feel as he keeps improving we'll hear plenty of him in the future. There were some terrible performances from him this season, but today's Naina Milake performance was one of the best I've heard from anyone this season. Easily. Especially the opening and the ending of the song. Every season fans overlap between singers. (For example, many Shivam fans are Sreeram fans). This season there really hasn't been any huge overlap for Swaroop fans (some people liked Naushad I guess, I personally thought Naushad was terrible and skipped majority of his songs after hearing a little bit). Shashi was amazing though. Otherwise, wasn't really a fan of anyone else besides those two so might even just skip the grand finale.
Anyways, best of luck Swaroop, hopefully you keep on getting work from music directors and we'll hear you again. :-D
