I think what has happened is that Rajni has lost trust in Suhana. For the sake of maintaining peace in the household, she is keeping quiet. I don't think she'll be normal around Suhana until Suhana has proved her worth. At least that's the way it works in a real world.

Yeah she probably is keeping quiet for the sake of maintaining peace in the household but still she seemed relatively alright with Suhana....more than I'd expected....but yeah I also think she's given up on Suhana and like you said, Suhana will have to prove her worth in a way now....to regain that trust.....

Yeah, I also felt the same way about this track initially. Ki what exactly was the point!??

But now that I reflect on the episode again, I think I can justify it a little bit.

The Ishaan Suhana scene today kind of helped put this track into perspective for me.

I think the point the showmakers are trying to go for with this track, is the family's importance in Suhana's life. Whether Sid or the family members mean more to Suhana. Whether she cares about them at all.

I agree with Lady M about Rajini. I think Rajini is so used to Suhana behaving this way. I think Rajini's main problem with Suhana is whether she even CARES? Whether she cares enough to consider the emotions of others in the family. And she knows that there's no point. I mean she's already tried giving her the silent treatment and all, there's no use explaining/yelling at her. There's really nothing she can do about it, except loose her trust in Suhana.

And I think the IS scene today kind of showed this with Suhana reflecting back on her memories with the family. So it was like getting her to think about the family/think about what they mean to her.

So I think the point is to show the importance of the family in Suhana's life. Which is basically the point of the show, to show Suhana's journey as she grows to love the family. And I think this track is also just helping enhance that.

Even with Rano, her whole problem was not why she didn't tell them exactly, but whether she cares about what Rano had told her. That's what's bugging them the most I think, whether or not Suhana cares about the family members.

And I think the random appearance of Sid is also to show how much the family means to Suhana as well. As shown with the IS scene, Suhana was happily remembering all the good times she had with the family. But as soon as she remembered Sid, she got upset. So it was like a reflection moment. This family that she was so hesitant to come into is actually giving her so much happiness, and Sid, someone she was so sure of is actually causing her to be upset multiple times.

It kinda comes back to the whole Suhana herself doesn't know what she wants in her life. And that whole IS scene a while back where Ishaan questions her about whether she really knows herself or not.

So it's like the whole Suhana's journey and her confused state/inner conflict with herself regarding what she thought was important to her as opposed to what actually it is that makes her happy.

I think this track is just helping to enhance that whole point, which is kind of the point of the whole show.

And even with the family members, besides Badi ma and Ishaan (and RB too I guess), no one else is totally convinced about Suhana's attachment to the family. I mean Badi ma, Ishaan, and RB toh know the truth so they can still understand Suhana and are pleasantly surprised when they find that she actually cares more about the family than even she knows. But the other family members toh EXPECT Suhana to care. They expect her to care about everyone's emotions. So it's a journey of them getting to know the real Suhana too.

O mannnn.....I'm getting so carried away and I can feel this post getting super long so I shall stop.

But anyways, final note: I totally know what you mean though Anu. I totally had the same reaction too. I still don't like how they've handled this track completely. And Sid's whole re-entry itself seems really random to me. But I can kind of connect the dots a little bit better now that I reflect back. Plus I think the IS scene today really helped too. I def. think there IS a point to it. It just might not have executed as well this time or as clear as the other previous tracks.

I just can't help getting sucked back into this show even if it gets annoying sometimes. 😆 They always show at least one such scene, like the IS scene today that brings me back on track. :S 😆

Well Anu my logic says that the whole point to bring Meethi in the track was to show us viewers that Suhana's feelings for Sid runs deep. She can forget everyone and everything let it be her in-laws or a 8 yr old kid. When Sid is in the picture, she never gives it a second thought. Otherwise you tell me, how did she not understand that the guy was a cheat and the girl begging infront of him is the one he has been cheating upon! Is she that blind? She has seen Sid with a new girl after the day they broke up, how can she believe him so blindly?
