Tapasya's offspring would be like her only, testing her DNA would be waste of time, reagents and manpower. There are 2 possibilities. Either complete maternal genomic imprinting (complete maternal genes inherited, no paternal) or even if Veer's genes are inherited, it would be recessive since Tapasya's every cell and its component is expected to be dominant. (BTW, I am a geniticist too).
